LoL
Go 2 www.samfirmware.com sign up download a stock rom 2.3 2.4 2.5 etc...
Also download odin from there and cooper.ops
the run odin (as admin) and select the cooper.ops and one pakage
also select the rom and flash leve till you c pass
HOPE I HELPED
Imaginary ICS is based on 2.3.6 - He edited the build.prop file to make it say 4.0.4.
You cant flash a backup of a stock ROM via CWM 4/5 as the ROM uses the ext4 filesystem. You'll need to flash via ODIN (stock rom from sammobile.com) or convert filesystem back to rfs and use a backup.
ODIN

[Q] Galaxy S3 Stock Rom

Hi Guys,
I was wondering if there is somehwere I can download the Official rom from.
I installed cyanogen mod 9 on my S3 using clockwork recovery mod and it wiped my backup.
I have tried sammobile but the problem is I need it for version: I9300XXLH1. I am located in Australia.
While on the topic, I have a friend who is using a S3. Could I possibly install CWM and copy a backup off his phone?
Please help, I miss all my features haha.
The official stock rom does not exist .
Many official roms .
CHECKFUS is probably your best method .
Could I possibly install CWM and copy a backup off his phone?
Probably .

Why don't you just flash the JB rom with Odin that was released yesterday.
After that, go into stock recovery and do a wipe data/factory reset and you're good to go.

Updating/switching roms (CM)

Hi, I have updated and rooted my phone a while ago so I have forgotten a few things... I have CyanogenMod 9.1.0 and android version is 4.0.4... And now I came here and saw that there is android 4.2 and CM 10.1.... But I didn't found any information for updating between those two, there is only for coming from stock firmware. Can I just download 10.1 and install it from Clockwork mod or should I first update to 4.2 and how to do it?
Wipe data/factory reset after flashing the kernel for the new version and install the rom in cwm. All your data will be lost, but your phone should boot
Btw please ask questions in the Q&A forum

Sorry for the wrong forum...
And tnx for the reply... So no need to update to 4.2 manually, just kernel for rom and then rom?? Will it be like that for any onther custom rom?

Yes it's the same for all custom roms. Flash the kernel, boot in cwm and do the wipes, then flash the rom
Btw you could read my guide on how to install a custom rom/kernel to get more information. The link is in the "Roll up sticky thread" in the stickies in general forum :good:

this is the manual way (automatic is SEUS ).. but to ur question yes, it so:
before installing rom, check which kernel needed for this (or if its inside zip, to flash BEFORE install; via fastboot..)
if u switch between stock ics & cm builds OR between cm9 and cm10(.1) FULL WIPE IS recommended!!
if u do only a upgrade like install newest version of smae rom on ur phone u can WIPE NOTHING! (only if u get problem )
yes 1st kernel (recovery (CWM) built in) then ROM ; maybe some addons/gapps (google apps), dun

[Q] Upgrading Enigma ROM 4.4 to 5

Hi,
I've got a noob question , i hope someone would be able to help me.
I installed Enigma ROM 4.4 On my XP and now i want to upgrade it to v5.
in 4.x ROMs i only had to reflash the new version over the previous one, i don't know about this one, since it's a major update (v4 to v5),
do i have to reflash the stock ROM and then flashing the custom OR can i just reset everything and reflash the 5 version over this 4.4 .
and if i do this, does it have disadvantages? ( Lags. Slow ROM and etc. )
Thanks in advance,

Just reflash the v5 and wipe only dalvik-cache and cache. If that's not OK, then reflash stock firmware.

Which roms is stable and camera fix P7510?

Forwarded from my other thread post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2473982 , I have 2 questions.
1. Which thread guide me to flash to custom rom straight way from HC 3.2 stock samsung 10.1 P7510 to JellyBean custom roms ? including Nandroid backup ?
What I know , flashing from 3.2 to 4.1 method must be in a correct step avoiding brick or I Should use the traditional method , 3.2 to ICS then Jelly bean ? such as kernals base issue ?
2. There are so many custom roms avaliable. I would like to know , which rom works the best with compatibility and smooth UI ? Camera fix and etc ?
Appreciate any help

First...to which ROM is the best...depends on you're style and device. All devices aren't equal...even when they are the same variant. But I like the 4.3 ROMs.Look at my SIG to see which one I'm running today...Lol.
Now..on to you're rooting. You most definitely need to update to 4.0.4 ICS..I have a guide after you're on that version so you can root and stay stock or flash a custom ROM.But you need the ICS boot loader to flash almost all of the new jelly bean ROMs, if not all of them.I believe when you do the official update from kies it will install that boot loader.( never had to as my device was on 4.0.4 unrooted ).
Back up you're tab to you're PC before you go updating..The update might wipe sdcard, not sure. And in case the update goes side ways on ya.
Let me know if you need any help.

Getting to the safe side , the best is using traditional flashing to ICS then to JB.
I am currently rooted for HC.The ordering , I need to flash it to samsung ICS first ? which mean , I need to unroot my device ?
Or I can just flash to custom roms ICS ?
Currently , stuck at this point.Which is the correct procedure ?
Flash stock ICS first using Odin first. Then you can flash to any version you want.

No. Just flash it with Odin. Don't use that ROM. That is a modified version. Download the stock ROMs at www.sammobile.com.
