I have a galaxy grand .I have rooted it.its running on android 4.1.2.An upgrade is available for it.So when i try to update it ota it says the phone has been modified .I have rooted the phone.so i want to manually upgrade the firmware not through the kies.So How do i upgrade the phone through ODIN or Through CWM.
Just Search and Download FW

Download firmware from Hotfile....
Search for the how to flash new firmware with ODIN in Youtube..

You would have to download the firmware then manually flash through CWM recovery
guys, i want to install Ginger Bread(2.3.6) on my Galaxy I9003 SL as Kies doesn't work for me so want to try it using Odin.please tell me some tips n tutorial abt it . thnks.. n more question will flashing with Odin will root my Phone ?(am newbie) ..if yes ..then is there is any risk by rooting Phone? thnks ..w8ing for a quick reply n i hav downloaded it's Official Released Firmware from Sammobiledotcom
i have rooted my Samsung Galaxy y duos lite[GT-S5302] , and installed jellybean 4.2 , i could not connect my device to computer and even samsung kies displays : device is taking long time fo responding , how to reinstall 2.3.6 gingerbread ? or any other options?? Please help

there isn't even a stable 4.0 rom, let alone 4.2, so that would be a themed 2.3.6 rom then?

Kies / nandroid backup / samsung help centre
@mjz2cool is correct..
This device simply dont have any CM / ICS Rom...
Then how did he flashed JB Rom ?

Use Odin
First I would like to tell you that there is no Jellybean for your device........There is a port of Cyanogen Mod 9 which is unstable..........
So the ROM which you installed may be a themed Jellybean i.e. In settings it may show 4.1/2/3.x and look like JB but its not real JB .........
You might have installed ROMS like JellyBlast etc.....
So if you want to revert to stock then you might have to flash the stock firmware using Odin.........
But in your case your PC cant detect your phone so you have to restore CWM backup in case you had it......
Otherwise you might install other Custom Rom and see if the problem persist .......
In case your PC can detect your device then you can flash stock using Odin if you want to............

I am new here, if I make mistakes here, forgive me.
I have a Samsung Galaxy Ace GT 5830i, I want to flash it to Gingerbred 2.3.X or Froyo 2.2.X anything which is official . Now here is the problem, my phone is not going to download mode. Its goes only to recovery mode as its rooted.
Previously I flashed it via Jellyblast V3.0.3
Now I may have to flash my rom via recovery mode.

Hello, I am using T-mobo galaxy s4 (SG-M919). I've rooted my phone. I want to install custom rom of galaxy s4 i9505's in my T-mobo. I've read that we can install it. I want to install lollipop version of it. Please someone tell me how? I need it so badly.
And another problem is that nowadays whenever I am trying to install T-mobo's rom on my phone, it stuck at galaxy s4 logo every time. So, I have to flash it through odin every time. And T-mobo has kitkat firmware and i don't want to use it. Someone please help me out. :crying:
