Brand of the battery is eForCity (or at least the peeps selling it). So it doesn't appear to be an 'official' HTC battery. Could you possibly take the 'official' label off your thread title?
For $7.81 I HIGHLY doubt it's a true 2000mah battery. (feel free to try one and report back though :good

Couldn't find ANY official extended battery for the EVO 3D from Sprint or HTC, and the picture is clearly picturing an NON OEM and NON name brand battery. so no, do not buy this thinking it will be 2000MAH, you will have better luck buying a regular OEM HTC battery.
Newegg does sell official OEM extended batteries for EVO 4G, bought it for my bro and it was extremely impressive. 10 bucks for twice the battery life... wish it were that easy for my EVO 3D

I thought both the 4G and 3D took the same battery, no?

The original (WiMax) Evo 4G does not have the same size battery as the 3D. I don't know about the new, (LTE) Evo though.

How is this "official" when it's clearly not an OEM battery and is even listed in the details as "AFTERMARKET"???

Since we are talking batteries I am looking at getting a extra battery. What does everyone recommend that would fit with the stock case? I am not looking for extra bulk just a nice replacement on the cheap if possible.

http://www.amazon.com/AnkerĀ®1900mAh...e=UTF8&qid=1341947928&sr=1-78&keywords=evo+3d
Anker is the only cheap brand name i trust at the moment, bought two TMO SGS2 Batteries for my girl and they are slightly better than stock, (2200mah VS 1800mah) as promised by Anker, cost me 20 bucks for both. so i would expect this 1900mah Battery to do slightly better, and then u have two batteries .. try to get yourself a independent battery changer, there like 5 bucks at most on Ebay. or just buy this bundle.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005B3RFTU
the charger is great, but also a little cumbersome (since its adjustable rather than fixed for one size), its great because u can charge virtually any cellphone battery with it... including anyones you know.... except if they own an iPHONE lmao

Best extended battery

I guess a lot of people have tried getting an extended battery for their Evo3D. Which one is the best you have tried, and what kind of uptime did you get it from it?
Did it fit the original cover, and can you recommend the replacement cover?

Expansys Extended battery for me has been awesome, 2 days + normal use, 4 days if i dont use it much!!!
Well, how extended are these? ;D
look it up! 3400 mah
If you want it to fit under your stock battery cover, go with Anker or Chichitec. Both are listed as 1900mah and are definitely better than stock. I get around 20 hours Up time and 5 hours Awake with the Anker batteries. 2 batteries and an external charger for around $30 shipped for either brand, and both ship from California I believe (Anker for sure). For reference, I get around 14 hours Up and 3.5 hours Awake with stock HTC battery. Also, the Anker batteries are only listed for the Sensation, but both use the same battery. Not sure why Anker doesn't list them for the Evo 3D as well, I'm sure they would sell quite a few more if they did....

We got 2 Anker batteries for our E3Ds a little over a month ago and am very satisfied. Lasts longer than stock. You can buy 1-battery, 1-charger+1 battery or 1-charger+ 2 batteries. Fast shipping also.

Yep I have two CHICHITEC batteries they work great and last just as long as the stock battery if not longer.
Seidio 4000 mah by far the best hands down. 3G/4G used entire time, many calls, games, YouTube videos, lots of e-mail and gps

2400 mah Anker

Has anyone had a chance to try THIS 2400 mAh Anker battery? I've been wanting an extended battery, but it seems they have all been fakes or cost an arm and a leg. This one has a sweet price, and I know the other Anker's have a good rep. I was just wondering if anyone had a chance to try this one.
Yes, there is a thread about that exact battery on here already. Search for it, or just look through the first 1-4 pages an you should see it. The owner is very happy with it.

Sorry about that. I did a search for it, but it didn't show up. I'll look for it.
Can someone post a pic of this battery on their phone? Love to see how thick it is...
I have the anker 2400mah battery. I got it about a week ago, and when i received it, there was a small crack near the power button. I am currently in contact with the seller to get a replacement. I will update when i get this issue resolved.
As for the performance, I love it. I also have the seidio 3400 from bestbuy, and I hate the battery cover for the seidio. The anker is much thinner, and feels better in the hand.
For now here are some pics.

Yeah, to drop it right on your toe. That thing's HUGE!
I think if feels good. The seidio isnt much bigger, but the anker case is much better. Sorry I cant get any better pics. For $12, its worth it.
The seller has decided to send me a new back case, since the original one came cracked. I will update when it arrives.

Just like he said 12 bucks for it can't go wrong even tho its big if you get a lot of battery juice more bang for your buck. Looks nice .
Weird... There is a galileo battery that is 2400mah and it fits under the stock battery door..... Something isn't right....
Edit: nevermind now people are saying it's probably a fake.

Alternate battery options?

Just wondering if there are any alternate batteries that may work with the Rezound other than the oem battery which comes with the device or the 2750 extended battery offered by Verizon?
I was hoping that possibly the thunderbolt battery or sensation battery was compatible and maybe siedio made a larger than stock battery for those phones I could purchase to get extended battery life without the extended battery girth.
Maybe siedio makes a 1750 or 1800 mah battery like they did for the Dinc.
Thanks in advance!
Better read up on Siedo Batteries .
They are some of the worst rated batteries out there. The 1750 was rated at around 1400. Buy HTC batteries.

I've read that the stock htc batteries for the tbolt work in the rezound but it messes with the battery monitoring.
I'm thinking for myself, I'm going to use my backup t-bolt batteries, and just change them out at about the 3 hour mark. That should give the rezound battery a chance to get back to full. I haven't looked for backup rezound batteries on amazon yet (just ordered the phone today).
I have seen in other threads people said that they believed the tbolt batteries could be used. Maybe they are misinformed? I used a siedio 1750 in my dinc and saw a far superior battery life experience then the stock OEM battery

The batteries are the same physical size, but the rezound doesn't read them properly so the battery gauge would probably be off.
I saw several people that had bad things to say about the seidio batteries on the thunderbolt.

The motorcycle battery pic is great. The biggest I've seen done before is with 9volters.
Btw, I recall talks awhile back about how they were planning to modify the transmission towers so that they'd both give us a signal as well as wirelessly keep our phones charged. Would be nice to know what the status is on that.
I didn't know they were doing that. I knew about WiTricity though. I don't think the technology is far enough along yet to implement on such a large scale. They are going to go through health admin scrutiny I imagine.

That's exactly what I was thinking of. You remember the whole deal with people thinking cell phones cause cancer? I wouldn't think the wireless charging would be any different unless a few credible studies show otherwise.
Too bad my 1800mah battery from my Incredible won't fit in this phone.
I can only imagine the kind of frenzy people are going to come up with. "WiTricity is the equivalent of being struck by lightning" lol. I bet the majority of these people who are scared ****less are also smokers who won't quit.

These guys are a joke. There have been no reviews showing the capacity in Mugen's batteries are more than Anker's despite it costing more than DOUBLE the price.
In fact, there are review AGAINST IT.: http://batteryboss.org/

Thanks for the opportunity to make my 4th. This is my second week on this forum, and I'm mostly reading, not posting. When I feel that I can contribute, I do. I've used smartphones for 10 yeras since E90 and used many different extended battery brands, so yeah, I stand by what I say.
I've used the Mugen Extended battery on both the original Note and the Note 2. I didn't have a problem with either. Great quality and great battery life. True the price is steep but it's a good product. If the back cover of the Note 3 extended battery was like the leather effect of the standard cover, I'd be more inclined to get it

Do they sell the back separately? There is no reason to think that the battery is better than an Anker, but the back definitely is.
How did you think they are able to charge that much?

Yes, we do, and we exchange back doors for the ordered batteries free of charge.
I wouldn't mind having an extended battery although I don't really need one. Only thing really keeping me from getting something like this is the fact that there isn't any cases that this would be compatible with and I have to have some kind of protection on my device.
