If you got your phone brand new and you did not unlocked the bootloader before it shouldn't be unlocked.
Here is the official Sony website:
http://unlockbootloader.sonymobile.com/
If your bootloader is really unlocked and the phone is not passing the Sony logo then it may be a problem with the Kernel you are using or the ROM not properly flashed. Try using this kernel:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1566871
This is the recommended kernel on the Ice Cream Pureness ROM post.
Hey bro. I'm gonna try helping you out. Let's start with reflashing a Stock ROM using flashtool. Search Google for Flashtool and MT15i global ics (MT11i if u r using NeoV). I'm just too lazy to find it. sry bout that. Try and get the latest one.
Once the flashing has finished, boot up your phone. Once you're done with the setup process, head to your dialpad (a.k.a. Phone). Type *#06# and you'll get an IMEI number. Write it down somewhere. Turn off your phone.
Press the MENU button while plugging in your phone to your PC. When the LED notifier turns Blue, it means you're in fastboot mode. I assume you have Google's Android SDK. If not, please download it. Open a command window by pressing Shift+Right Click in C:\Program Files\Android\android-sdk\platform-tools but if using a 64-bit version of windows it is in Program Files (x86). Type "fastboot devices" without quotes. If some sort of number comes up it means your phone is connected. If not. Disconnect and try again. Now, go here: http://unlockbootloader.sonymobile.com/unlock/step1 agree to everything and fill in the details in the next page. Check your e-mail. You should get a message with your unlock KEY in it. Head back to the command prompt. type in "fastboot.exe -i 0x0fce oem unlock 0xKEY" without quotes and replacing KEY with the key you got from the e-mail. If it says something like bootloader already unlocked then you're good to go.
Disconnect, boot up your phone. Everything should be fine. Now we flash your ROM. Place Ice Cream Pureness into your SD card. check in the zip if there is a boot.img. If there is, place it in the platform-tools folder. If not, download the recommended kernel by the developer of Ice Cream Pureness and place it in the platform-tools folder.
Turn off your phone. plug in the phone while pressing the menu button till LED turns blue. Open command prompt in platform-tools. Type "fastboot devices" without quotes. If something comes up, good. If not try again. now type "fastboot flash boot boot.img" without quotes and boot.img referring to the name of the kernel. If it is something else, simply type in the name of the kernel including extension. Now type "fastboot reboot" without quotes. Whil booting up, press the volume rockers repeatedly (Both up and down) until you are in the recovery menu. From there, Wipe Data/Factory Reset, Wipe Cache, and, in Advanced, Wipe Dalvik-Cache. Then return to the menu and select install zip from sd card. Choose zip manually. Find the zip. Let it install. Install other zips as recommended by the dev. Reboot phone. Congrats, all working.
Thanks for the help i will try it now.
Thank you very much it works :good:

Hello,
I've rooted my atrix today using rootzwiki without any problems and there was a boot loader unlock tutorial, my device is 2.3.4 4.5.91 at&t but unfortunately I used .sbf for international users and not for at&t..ending up with "no os" no boot/recovery so tried to flash "1FF-olympus-user-2.3.4-4.5.91-110625-release-keys-signed-ATT-US-GAS_NA_OLPSGBATTSPE_P011.sbf" (mistake?) with no success, then flash "4547-fix-try2.sbf" for at&t but no success.
Don't know what to do Plz help me
Download fastboot here:
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/30173981/fastboot.zip
Download a ROM such as
CM7 Based ROM (Neutrino ROM)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1398819
CM9 Alpha/Beta
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1445052
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1500535
OR Blur Based Rom (NottachTrix4G)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1567241
Have the ZIP file ready
Extract contents of the fastboot zip in the c drive root in a folder called "fastboot" without the quotes
Install the Motorola Drivers, included in the fastboot folder I provided
Next, download a recovery, such as romracer's recovery
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1204500
(Rename img file to recovery.img)
And put the recovery.img file in the fastboot folder
Open a command window (Start > Run > CMD OR Start > type 'Command Prompt'), type "cd\fastboot" without the quotes > Press enter
Next power on phone, in fastboot mode (hold power button and volume down and press volume down to look for fastboot, volume up to select it), plug it in
Go to your command window and type
"fastboot flash recovery recovery.img” without the quotes
Once that is done, do
"fastboot reboot" without the quotes
Once the phone is at the Motorola logo, power it off.
Power it back on and go into Android Recovery (hold power button and volume down and press volume down to look for Android Recovery, volume up to select it), plug it in
(recovery navigation is volume up/down is up and down, select is power button)
From here, go to mount and storage and mount USB and dump the rom zip in the root and go back on the phone and factory reset, wipe cache and install zip from SD card. Find the zip file and install it. Once that’s done reboot and your phone should boot up in the ROM of your choice.

You did not unlock your boot loader, download this if you have an at&t atrix
http://diamantephoto.com/pudding.rar
or if its an international atrix
http://diamantephoto.com/IHOP_Bell.rar
download the sbf and flash using rsdlite and retry my steps again
OK OK
Once you enter that line, if you don't get an error make sure the command prompt says "C:\path\to\fastboot\ > __" confirming that you are working in the right directory. Now type 'fastboot oem unlock' (fastboot tells command prompt to work with fastboot.exe and oem unlock is a command within the program). It will reply a warning about breaking warranty, etc., and also a lengthy ID for your phone.
Now type 'fastboot oem unlock ####' where #### is your ID. And finally 'fastboot reboot'. Your phone will obviously restart and you can close out of the command prompt.
When turning on your phone will say! "Unlocked" on the Motorola boot screen, jump up and down in joy!!!
Sorry, I did not give the link to the pudding thread; those are the instructions

Download XDA ROM HUB tool from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1715277
It allows for easy BL unlock, root/unroot
Also rage is in my opinion very good with battery life.
You've got Rage for GB, ICS and CM7.2

how to install the driver?
EDiT:
if you can't do it with ROM HUB:
connect phone in fastboot mode, open a cmd window and type fastboot.exe -i 0x0fce getvar version
you should get some response. like 0.3. That's just confirming that your phone is connected properly.
after that, type fastboot.exe -i 0x0fce oem unlock 0xKEY
KEY is your unlock key.

i have installed android sdk manager and follow this ****ing tutorial http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=27376017&postcount=2
i already got my special key to unlock my bootloader.
but whenever i connet my phone to fastboot mode by switching off and switch on my phone to my pc using usb while holding volume up button. blue led appear. then nothing happens!
its supposed to do this next "You will be asked for drivers. Point to the usb_driver folder where you placed the android_winusb.inf-file, and select the Android Boot loader Interface-file.
Open command prompt, first enter this
Code:
cd C:\...\android-sdk\platform-tools
Replace C with the correct drive letter and ... with the path to the android-sdk folder. Next, enter this command
Code:
fastboot.exe -i 0x0fce oem unlock 0xKEY" bla bla bla but i have no options to do this whatever because nothing happens when my phone on fastboot mode.
seriously i can go ape**** doing this
check if you have adb installed.
go to device manager. when you connect your phone to PC, you should see "sony ericsson" appear, and under that adb.
open cmd window. go start> run type cmd> hit enter.
just type adb. if you get a listing, you have adb.
if not,
follow this: ADB for dummies
if your adb driver installed correctly then hold SHIFT + right click the fastboot folder and choose open command from here. Follow the tutorial and ull be unlocking your bootloader in no time.
im unable to post a link but you can also check youtube and search for unlocking bootlader xperia videos.
Ok
I just updated to ICS and so far loving the new custom roms available
Im a total nooby when it comes to this so i used WotanServer (google it) to upgrade my phone to ICS then changed used a custom kernal which was recommended for the custom firmware.
Some roms don't allow you to use other kernals so it really depends on the rom itself in my opinion.
So the thing i would recommend to do it:
upgrade to .62
use and download SE Bootloader Unlocking v1.6 by quangnhut123 (it's under Arrow
Xperia Mini & Mini Pro & Active Android Developloment)
Unlock bootloader, root your device
then i used a method to upgrade my device without loosing my root and then installed krsh kernal with a custom rom which support krsh kernal ..
I installed an incorrect custom recovery after rooting with King root. After thinking I did the wrong thing I flashed the bad recovery as my boot.img. So now my boot.img and recovery don't work and I'm on a boot loop. Please help

No it isn't I just used king root! I can't do it from here either can I ?!
Then you have to unlock it first by getting the unlock code from Huawei. Here are the steps...
1. Go to https://hwid5.vmall.com/oauth2/port...huawei.com/en/source/plugin/hwlogin/login.php and login with you Huawei ID CONTINUOUSLY FOR 14 DAYS. Don't have a Huawei ID? Then click on "register".
2. After that, you'll be redirected to the unlocking website. Make sure to check the box below.
3. Next, you'll be seeing 5 boxes. Then...
• Enter your model number in the first box
• Enter you serial number in the second box (Can be found in settings or at the back of your battery)
• Enter your IMEI in the third box (Can be found in settings or at the back of your phone)
• Enter you Product ID in the fourth box (Dial *#*#1357946#*#* in the dialer app to get it)
• And lastly, enter the verification code in the fifth box provided beside it (The verificarion code should be a 4-digit code)
4. After entering all of the required information, click the blue box below of all boxes then you'll end up seeing your unlock code (It should be a 16-digit code)
5. Download and install Huawei Update Extractor, Minimal ADB and Fastboot and the drivers. Make sure that USB debugging is enabled in settings -> developer options.
6. Download also the stock ROM and don't install of course, you don't have a recovery.
7. Open Huawei Update Extractor and extract the update. Make sure to only extract recovery.img, boot.img, and system.img.
8. Move the 3 extracted files to the directory folder of ADB. While in the ADB folder, after moving the 3 files, hold Shift and Right click and select "Open command window here".
9. Get a good working USB cable and plug in your device (make sure the device is powered on and the screen is on as well) and type in and enter " adb devices". A pop-up will appear on your phone asking to authorize. Press okay or whatever positive it says. After authorizing, it'll be displaying a code. Maybe like ••••••••••••• devices. If not, then try adb devices again.
10. Once finished with that, type in and enter "adb reboot bootloader" which will reboot your phone to bootloader.
11. Once in bootloader mode, you'll be seeing a text below saying "PHONE Unlocked" or "PHONE Locked" in red. If it says "PHONE Unlocked", it means the bootloader is unlocked, if it says " PHONE Locked", then your bootloader is still unlocked which means you still have to unlock it. To unlock it, type in and enter "fastboot devices" first and you'll be seeing a code again just like from adb devices. If that code shows up then you're good to go.
12. Next type in and enter "fastboot oem unlock ••••••••••••••••". You'll replace those circles with your unlocking code of course. Your phone will now perform a factory reset and will say " PHONE Unlocked" now. Congratulations!!! You've unlocked your bootloader!!!
13. Now we have to flash the files. If you want to flash the recovery only, then type in and enter "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img" and will say OKAY at the end. If you want to flash the whole system, type in and enter these:
• fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
• fastboot flash boot boot.img
• fastboot flash system system.img
• fastboot reboot
Your phone will now reboot into the system. If it's successful, then congratulations!!!!!

Hey guys i have ended up with a huge problem here.
I am having the bootloop even with a flashed CWM recovery flashed it reboots.
I am allowed about a minute inside the recovery before it reboots.
I also suspect my unlock is not properly done.
If i use getvar command it fails.
However it does say my phone is unlocked at the bottom of the screen.
I should probably flash boot to make it stable so how do i do that and does anyone have any suggestion for what i can do now?
The original Emui recovery doesnt recognize the dl folder with update inside for the original rom.
I would love to get help making this stable again.
Thanks.
I believe i had as old as firmware version B086
it was stuck there which is the reason i tried to root and unlock because it was getting very old and unstable.
I was messing with my old tracfone and trying to install a custom ROM on it. I pressed wipe on TWRP and selected advance wipe and selected everything for factory defaults. After this, I restarted and my phone is stuck on the LG logo and won't go past it. I can't even get back into TWRP by spamming the volume up button. I also have a backup image, but what's the point if I can't access TWRP? Any help is appreciated.
Thanks
Wipe doesn't restore factory defaults, it removes everything. If you wiped system partition there's no Android on your phone, thus no system to boot. If that's the case, you can try to reflash twrp or install original firmware

If so, you need a PC, if it's Windows then download this tool - it's a system-wide fastboot that lets you flash software on your phone. It should also download drivers.
If everything goes OK, boot your phone into bootloader (you need to find the right key combination to do that, could be (phone off) power button+ volume down held for about 5-10 seconds, but I don't really know how it's like with this particular phone).
Go to the folder where you've got your TWRP, hold shift and press right mouse button. From context menu choose "open command window here"
In command window enter:
Code:
fastboot devices
if it returns your phones serial number it's OK, if it doesn't - you probably don't have proper drivers so look for them
If everything is OK enter:
Code:
fastboot flash recovery your-twrp-image-name.img
If this step is OK you can reboot:
Code:
fastboot reboot-bootloader
In the bootloader there should be an option to enter recovery mode which is now TWRP. From there you can flash some ROM.
Alternatively you can get ffactory firmware and flash it with fastboot (that's actually a better option to start with).
I hope that helps

Thanks for the help, but unfortunately, I think that the phone is junk. My phone can't get into boot-loader for whatever reason, and I heard some people post that the phone was designed to make the boot-loader non-accessible. I already tried to flash it with ADB while it starts up, but no device is detected (no USB debugging I guess). So unless I can flash the phone while It's on the LG logo, I can't do nothing.

Normal TWRP has known problems...
You can try flashing Squid TWRP (https://forum.xda-developers.com/mo...wrp-squid-twrp-recovery-moto-e-lte-t3137649): is a unbloated and optimized twrp for our device.
This situation has appened to me and i resolved by installing that TWRP.

From the video you posted before i assuming you have already installed motorola driver and fastboot or mfastboot.
Here are the steps:
0- Download SQUID TWRP and place it in e.g. C:\ (last version is twrp-surnia-3.2.1-r1.img);
1- Shut down your phone;
2- Press Power Button + Vol Up until you see bootloader screen;
3- Now connect your phone to PC;
4- On PC, open a commad window pront (Start -> "cmd" on research bar, then enter);
5- Cmd prompt;
6- Type "fastboot devices". It should show a serial number: PC has recognized your device;
8- Then type "fastboot flash recovery C:\twrp-surnia-3.2.1-r1.img" last parameter is the path where you placed recovery so change it if you have choosen another path;
9- Wait for 3-4 seconds until the prompt shows something similar to "complete" or "success";
10- Type "fastboot poweroff" and your device shuts down.
Now you have installed Twrp Recovery, if you want access it, repeat steps 1-2 and select recovery from bootloader menu.
If you want install a custom rom i suggest SlimRoms : follow the instructions to download and install this rom.
