New update today, still won't stream flash videos.
Hopefully this is a sign they are working on it.

Ics doesn't support flash. Period.

Actually, it does.. They've announced they are dropping support for anything passed 4.0.X (or starting with the then 4.1.X now known to be Jelly Bean)...
Last I checked 4.0.4 falls under the 4.0 X catagory..

Your a moron. STFU if you don't know squat about that.
All the other ICS Devices work with flash. Only Moto doesn't.
I get Flash just fine using the stock browser, on the official 4.0.4 OTA, dunno what the problem is
Adobe flash works fine on ICS . On JB it may not. I'm on ICS with both my old Evo, and new Evo 4g LTE. What I've always seen in the market is that most things don't work with Motorola and you guys always gotta keep begging begging and begging. Maybe one day you'll all realize that Motorola makes crap and you'll start buying HTC . And before ANYONE says "but Google bought moto wireless, they must be great", no,... That was done for patents and legal reasons.
Flash works fine on ICS, unless you own an idiot moto device. They make CRAP. Good luck to you all.

Guys with Flash Problems use this Adobe support form:
https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/support/index.cfm
The more of you that fill out the form and report the bug the bigger the chance of this to get fixed.
And please write a litte bit more than "flash not working...FU"
I wrote that it worked with 2.3.6, after the update to 4.0.4 Flash buttons/menus work but videos only buffer/load but don't play (black screen). I told them the Android Version and the Flash Version im using, sites to test ect.
So now its your turn.

Yes, with stock browser and firefox.
But not with Chrome.
I can watching flash video with stock on ics leak also.....
I went to that Adobe site (and lol @ it perceiving the stock browser as Safari), and it showed flash working in the stock browser and Firefox. Obviously not in Chrome, since we already knew that doesn't support Flash. But clearly something is broken when it comes to streaming video.

That got me thinking... are we possibly seeing an HTML5 problem and not a Flash problem? I say this because YouTube plays in Chrome and not in other browsers. Chrome does not support Flash while the others do.
Maybe we're missing something here. Anyone know how to test a browsers HTML5 compliance?
I was busting my chops with just d/ling flash. I did the whole restart and reinstall with no luck. I installed adobe air and it works thru the browser. So you need adobe flash and adobe air for it to work

There is a thread on another forum site, not yet officially released for our device, but had the chance to run a TF201 build and it runs like hell, the best of CM10, AOSP, AOKP ( http://rootzwiki.com/index.php?/topic/32357-[ROM]-BAKED-tf201-blackbean-(8-15) )
Inverted Rom, best used with inverted gapps (available for download on site, read carefully install instructions).

FOR VERSION 4 USE ALTERNATIVE DOWNLOAD LINK, Goo seems to be still with version 3
All instructions in the above quoted thread.

No flash on motorola ics. adobe has stopped the support. install the custom cm9 rom , it has adobe flash that works.
Since the RAZR was heavily advertised to support flash, take it into the Verizon store, cause a stink and pick your favorite phone. They should change it out if you absolutely need Flash, especially since it was a selling point that vanished with an OS update.

Another option is to set your user agent to iPhone. Many sites have html5 variants but developers have not caught on to the Android ICS and flash relationship. However, iOS has had non flash compatibility since the beginning, so websites have developed alternatives.
Ideal...no but works surprisingly well. Overall, while painful non, this move is for the best. Flash can do some great things, but html5 is a better platforms on low performance devices, like phones.

Motorola updated their Android Software Update News page today with good news for XT910 owners worldwide. You might remember if you checked the page before, XT910 wasn't even mentioned with a possible update. Anyways, that has changed today. We're getting official Android 4.1 update. Eventhough we don't know when ! :good:
As a sidenote, It would be early to become happy until they deliver the update cause in motorolas' update cases, promises could be broken easily and relentlessly. That's why i am adding a proof for future reference.

Hi Guys, I would really appreciate some help with my XT910 to be able to get this update when it will be release. I managed to install the Rogers 4.04 leak some months ago when we were all waiting fot the OTA. Now, I think I wont be able to update with this version. How can I install the official version. Do I need to reinstall GB and do the OTA update? Thank you.
@Duce43,
You'll easily flash 4.1 when it's available..You shouldn't flash gingerbread stock roms anymore, once you're on ics you should only flash ics roms! Read the sticky threads !
**************
We have great and talented free developers that develop our and their phones. More importantly motorola supporting our device to Android 4.1 I feel lucky where many good phones from other manufacturers didn't get official 4.1 , XT910 gets it. Thanks to Google and Motorola. Second hit like an early jb leak rom would be classy, too.

Nothing fancy. Everything is exactly the same with BLUR, no new apps or anything, no refinements.
The Dual Core underneath the Motorola boot logo is gone
The boot animation is even MORE out of sync now with the audio
New Notification bar pulldown matching jellybean exactly, otherwise unchanged
Google Now opens if you long press search
Butter, of course.
That's it.

It didn't even cross my mind, and I just read this thread and tried FoxFi, and it is NOT working. When you activate it, it displays a message saying it is checking the subscription status, and then a message displays that tells me to call an 800-number because my order could not be processed.
Damn, should have thought about this first. I do like JB otherwise (a lot), but this is a real bummer.
You can use the hotspot hack it works just fine

I haven't tried FoxFi using Bluetooth, but I have "Open Garden" installed on my devices, and I just use that to connect via Bluetooth until hopefully FoxFi's WiFi is fixed.
I will not update to JB until foxfi works with it. It is just too good an app to lose.
