ES File Explorer or Root Explorer
Titanium Backup

What's a good alternative to the Facebook app? The only other one I've really tried is Friendcaster

The best one I've found is Seesmic Pro. I too, like Friend caster, but its not as good with all of the newer Facebook changes. Seesmic is especially good if you use Twitter, it lets you view them both & post simultaneously

There are very good android applications, like Titanium Backup for restoring applications easily after flash, X-plore and Root Explorer and MIUI File Manager as the best file managers, Dolphin Browser , Paper Camera, Super Video as a floating video play, C4droid as the best application for C++ programmers, TTPOD for listening music with lyrics, but also tablet applications being adapted to android phone like Photoshop Touch.

I've been searching on Google and the Play Store but I still wanted to consult you guys. I'm looking for an app for putting my workers schedules in my phone. Suggestions?

I wish I had an answer for you, as my wife has been trying to do the same thing. Used Jorte for a while, but it's just more feature rich than what she needed, so it became a pain to input the small details she needed.
Could you tell me what solution you found?

I like Titanium Backup for restoring applications easily after flashing ROMs, X-plore and Root Explorer as the best file managers, Boat Browser Mini as a heck of a fast lightweight easy to use browser, Mobo Viewer as a floating video play, and TTPOD for music.

Camera zoomFx is a great camera app...improved shots for sure, especially with the stability feature

Well, i would advise launcher pro plus also. It has a friend widget. I played around with friend stream before, and it was painfully slow. A good idea, but not done well
I don't care much for the Widgets but TweetDeck is a nice all in one social network app.

but since you brought it up it can be done with any file explorer that can mount /system. as well as adb.
You can actually uninstal Sprint wallet, radio, NASCAR, and blockbuster without temp root.

Dude, I know that. But all the ones I've seen like(root explorer) cost money, and I was lookin for apps that r free that work with the temp root.. I also was trying to help other ppl out too. Everyone knows that if u have the temp root and do something to ur phone and then restart, it will go away and u have to do it again. That's why its a temp root. Don't try to be a smart ass, if u don't have anything useful to say to help others, don't reply

Correct.
So they are just frozen.
They still take up exactly the same amount of space on your emmc.
Unless they are system hogs, and run in the background, DAE know what the point of 'uninstalling' these might be?
Unless you just don't like to see the icons, I just don't see the point..

I keep hearing about this app but never really understood what was so good about it.
I just use the file explorer that's built in to MIUI. What can it do that separates it from the rest?

I uninstall things like Google play miso , books, mags, etc. Yahoo news....blah blah you get the idea. My question is, what all can I uninstall to get down to as few applications installed as possible without losing necessary functions of my phone? Btw I am running TeamVenum viper DNA sense 4+ Rom

Yeah I deinstall those from aroma, but then after booting and setting stuff up, I go into Rom toolbox and uninstall more stuff. Like widgets I don't use, picasa uploader, and other stuff. I was just wondering what all I could uninstall to free up as much space as possible without losing functionality of the system.
