Coming from the original HTC Evo, I remember the months and months of development it took to get WiMAX (Sprint) working on AOSP ROM's. Will the same be true for LTE?

So I would love this phone but I am with Sprint and it doesn't seem like there is a CDMA version of this phone to be found anywhere. Am I lost or is it assumed there will be one compatible with Sprint and Verizon. I have no problem switching, I just hate AT&T's crappy network and never was a huge fan of T-Mobile. What can CDMA carreirs expect? I hope not the Tegra 2 version (gross). Otherwise I will just hold out for the evo 3d.
I understood that the HTC Rider is going to be the GSM version of the EVO and will be released in europe/asia but i dont see much details about in on the net and since im not from the USA, i would need the GSM version
Does it has a release date already? i saw the EVO will be out on June 4th but thats for the american market right?
I am asking cuz i want to get the sensation, but i saw the EVO and thought perhaps i should wait a bit
No one knows about a GSM version for Europe?
It hasn't even officially been announced as a gsm version even though we 110% know it exist.

Could this be reliable? a GSM version of EVO 3D being sold on handtec soon?
Hi Mates,
Dont make guesses. Itz real.
I bot the phone in india through ebay. It supports GSM.
Phone performance is as gud as iphone.
only the built-in speaker is not good.but when connected to earphone or external speaker then its rocking blast.
thanks,
Has anyone currently on the Galaxy S II previsouly came from using the Evo 4g? I am thinking about updating to this one, I have my upgrade but im pretty happy with the evo 4g and the development its recieved the past years..
But I wanted to get input if someone has switched from my phone to this and the pro's and con's..
I'd appreciate any input!

FYI, here's my input.
If you're on the Evo 4g currently, that means you're on Sprint. If you're asking specifically about the Galaxy SII for Sprint, you're asking the wrong group of people.
The Galaxy SII for Sprint is the SPH-D710. That forum is here.
THIS forum is for the GT-I9100, which is the international version of the Galaxy SII. Mostly sold outside of the US, but it DOES work on AT&T fully with mobile data speeds up to HSPA+. It also works on T-Mobile USA, but T-Mobile will only provide mobile data speeds up to Edge. This phone (GT-I9100) will not work on Sprint at all.
will there ever be a gsm version, possibly with the tegra 3 processor? i know that the tegra 3 doesn`t support lte but i think htc really made a mistake by not releasing this elsewhere. its so much better than the one x.

Close. No kickstand though. Mix between OneX and Evo LTE tbh.
I doubt the actual Evo 4G LTE will have a GSM version since the original one didn't and this is a flagship Sprint phone. The argument for the 3D having a GSM counterpart could be HTCs desire and hype with the 3D feature.
It stays on 3g. They said you have to buy one of their LTE devices to get 4g. Can you make the note 3 hltespr pick up 4g on cleartalk since it does on sprint? They have a 4g LTE S5 for sale so how different/hard can it be?
Also is flashing a custom recovery or rom capable without messing up the flash to cleartalk capable?

I believe that this is related to the sprint simcard. You would have to add a cleartalk simcard that could be read on our device.
Man i was hoping it was a software issue. I wonder what would happen if i bought a cheap lte device, swapped the 4g sim and returned the device within 3 days for a refund as stated under their warranty.
