Evo 4g lte gsm? - Sprint HTC EVO 4G LTE

will there ever be a gsm version, possibly with the tegra 3 processor? i know that the tegra 3 doesn`t support lte but i think htc really made a mistake by not releasing this elsewhere. its so much better than the one x.

Close. No kickstand though. Mix between OneX and Evo LTE tbh.
I doubt the actual Evo 4G LTE will have a GSM version since the original one didn't and this is a flagship Sprint phone. The argument for the 3D having a GSM counterpart could be HTCs desire and hype with the 3D feature.

[Q] Which US carriers? CDMA version?

So I would love this phone but I am with Sprint and it doesn't seem like there is a CDMA version of this phone to be found anywhere. Am I lost or is it assumed there will be one compatible with Sprint and Verizon. I have no problem switching, I just hate AT&T's crappy network and never was a huge fan of T-Mobile. What can CDMA carreirs expect? I hope not the Tegra 2 version (gross). Otherwise I will just hold out for the evo 3d.

HTC Rider?

I understood that the HTC Rider is going to be the GSM version of the EVO and will be released in europe/asia but i dont see much details about in on the net and since im not from the USA, i would need the GSM version
Does it has a release date already? i saw the EVO will be out on June 4th but thats for the american market right?
I am asking cuz i want to get the sensation, but i saw the EVO and thought perhaps i should wait a bit
No one knows about a GSM version for Europe?
It hasn't even officially been announced as a gsm version even though we 110% know it exist.

Could this be reliable? a GSM version of EVO 3D being sold on handtec soon?
Hi Mates,
Dont make guesses. Itz real.
I bot the phone in india through ebay. It supports GSM.
Phone performance is as gud as iphone.
only the built-in speaker is not good.but when connected to earphone or external speaker then its rocking blast.
thanks,

[Q] x515a/x515m, GSM - Benchmarks wtf?

I'm deciding between the Rogers HTCRaider (vivid) and now I run into this. What are the differences between the evo models and what one does Rogers have? I would think nothing but it seems passmark is showing big differences.
androidbenchmark . net/device_list.php
HTC EVO 3D X515a
1,538
Rank: 121
HTC EVO 3D (no model?)
1,819
Rank: 51
HTC EVO 3D GSM (running ICS 4)
1,950
Rank: 23
Why such differences? And the raider is rank 40, so it's on par with the "no model" but way better than the x515?
I have purchased two Rogers evo 3d 's and both have been the X51a models. As for bench marking, I have not ever done it with stock. Both cpu's are 1.2 Ghz. I think the real difference is 3d on the evo and LTE on the raider.

HTC EVO V 4G vs HTC ONE V (Virgin Mobile)

HTC EVO V 4G versus HTC ONE V, both on Virgin Mobile.
They obviously some huge differences (single vs dual-core, 3G vs WiMax 4G, screen size, actual device size), but which one would you choose? (If you were me)
I work in NYC where there is WiMax 4G coverage, so should that influence my decision?

I live in the Staten Island area, I have the EVO V with a seidio 4000 mAH extended battery. 4G works great and its a solid phone, go with the EVO V.

I'm rolling with that setup too. Also bought the uber-crucial-slapyourmomma custom protective case for it to. Damn thing is a beast.
The Evo for sure. Bigger screen size, dual core, just an all around great device. One annoying thing I really hate about the One V is that it has a sealed battery...so annoying.
Yeah that sealed battery in the HTC ONE is a major turn off.

How to unbrick

Hi all, I have a big problem with my device, phone don't turn on, no any sings of life, nothing, he bricked. I see thead HTC Unbricking Project, but in this thead only (Sensation, MyTouch 4G Slide, Amaze 4G, Vivid, Raider, Velocity, EVO 3D GSM, EVO 3D CDMA, Jetstream, EVO 4G LTE) devices, but i don's see any theads about HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE. Can I use other similar files to restore my phone?
