Hey I have Cincinnati Bell a gsm carrier and i just recently got the htc evo 3d x515a from ebay and everything works fine except im only getting 2G EDGE speeds when it says i should be getting 3G ( CINBELL hspa frqency:1700/2100 MHz, Phone:850/1900/2100) I'm not sure if they all have to match but 2100 match up or not. Can someone help me figure out how to connect it to 3G?
Doing research myself on this phone for use on CBW. It appears you might have bought the wrong version of the EVO 3D phone. There is an X515M EVO 3D that has the 1700 and 2100 bands you need to get 3G and 4G on CBW.
The X515A phone is for the ATT bands. So the best you'll get with the version you bought is Edge. It would be similar to putting and ATT Iphone on CBW and only getting edge...
Here's the site that has the X515M: http://www.integrontech.com/HTC-Evo-3D-X515M-Unlocked-QuadBand-p/htc-evo3d.htm

will there ever be a gsm version, possibly with the tegra 3 processor? i know that the tegra 3 doesn`t support lte but i think htc really made a mistake by not releasing this elsewhere. its so much better than the one x.

Close. No kickstand though. Mix between OneX and Evo LTE tbh.
I doubt the actual Evo 4G LTE will have a GSM version since the original one didn't and this is a flagship Sprint phone. The argument for the 3D having a GSM counterpart could be HTCs desire and hype with the 3D feature.
HTC EVO V 4G versus HTC ONE V, both on Virgin Mobile.
They obviously some huge differences (single vs dual-core, 3G vs WiMax 4G, screen size, actual device size), but which one would you choose? (If you were me)
I work in NYC where there is WiMax 4G coverage, so should that influence my decision?

I live in the Staten Island area, I have the EVO V with a seidio 4000 mAH extended battery. 4G works great and its a solid phone, go with the EVO V.

I'm rolling with that setup too. Also bought the uber-crucial-slapyourmomma custom protective case for it to. Damn thing is a beast.
The Evo for sure. Bigger screen size, dual core, just an all around great device. One annoying thing I really hate about the One V is that it has a sealed battery...so annoying.
Yeah that sealed battery in the HTC ONE is a major turn off.
My GSM EVO 3D has broken display, so will Sprint's display work on a GSM version?
I had two HTC Evo 3D phones, one is a GSM model and the newer one is a CDMA model. Is the GSM model which was stolen from me traceable so that I can get it back? If yes, how to track it?
