Camera resolutions changed? - Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey guys. I updated to the latest firmware two nights ago successfully but today when I opened the camera app, the resolutions have changed. It wasn't like this yesterday, but now they're different. It used to have a circle with the MP now it's like shown.

not surprise, phone launch not long ago, everyone trying to find fault

Okay, so answer this. On camera mode (yes, camera mode) there's a chunk of black on the bottom of the screen rather than the camera taking up the whole screen?

Do not know which kernel/rom you use but it seems to be the bug that happened if your rom is XXBLFB and you use a kernel not updated to XXBLFB sources

Everything is stock... Shouldn't the kernel update with the rom?

Well, first of all, thanks for the answer, but it still happens and pressing the home button 4 times doesn't change anything, though. Your answer is still appreciated much, though!
Second; I forgot the stats, maybe this will help...
I'm running stock ROM, rooted, busyboxed, running SiyahS3 (1.2.5) and have done nothing to the system partition (Which is odd lol) except deleting the bloatware... I'm still getting used to the device, seeming as I had the Nexus for 5 1/2 months (Untill it then broke) so, taking my knowledge from that, and from the S II, I still don't know what it is...
Turn off negative colours.
If using siyah kernel then press home button 4 times.
1 screenshot would have done.

Camera problem

Hello every one,
Is there any way to get rid of the pink cloud that is in the center of the images?
Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2
Could you supply more info please man?
Screenshot of this "cloud" thing, are you on stock or custom rom?
Is there a piece of dust/damage under camera lens?
what kernel are you using? might be kernel related
I don't think to be a kernel or rom problem.
Since 2.3.3 stock to now VK 5.1.3 lpg
The cloud thing is there.
Now here is night tomarrow I'll put an screenshot.

This is a known problem on some Galaxy SII and note.
I also have this issue but no big problems here.
The only way to resolve this issue as far as i know, is by
changing the white balance in the camera settings, when you want to snap a white paper without using flash or
Turning flashlight to always on (torch mode), in a third party camera app before snapping a white paper, everything will look as normal.

So Google cant like pie too?
I like pie. Blueberry.
From my S-Off DNA
doesn t have softkeys because original nexus 10 was designed with a solid home button just like the ipad ... softkeys are not a good solution to eat from the screen size ...
in the future we will not even touch the screen .. pass the hand in front of the camera and shake your eyes and boom .. magic

Hi guys,
I've got the new YouTube but this problem also was here on my old versions of YouTube, but if you look at the picture I attached you'll notice that the 2 buttons under the texts are slightly cut off. Is there a way to fix this? Or is it a problem with the app that Google need to address? Any help is appriciated, thanks

Try clearing the cache and data in the application settings in settings of your phone and if it doesnt work than try uninstalling and than reinstalling the youtube app. If it still doesnt work than it might be the bug in the app its self...
Tried that, it happens with any youtube version i install

No I'm on ultima ROM v14.1, a Sammy ROM. But I've always had this problem. Thought it would go as YouTube updates the app, but it hasn't

I watch tons of YouTube videos and have never seen this. I too am now also curious to what that is. Seems like some sorta share your phone screen to a TV icon.

It has to do with Google Chromecast.
