By patience.
Use search or even better, one of those threads that explain how to root your phone.

Locked or unlockable bootloader?
Did you try the pinned topic in the dev section (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1526866) ??
If you have locked bootloader, did you try to use the search function to find the thread in the general forum (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1742992)??
Just flash advanced stock kernel for ics if your bootloader is unlocked

Wrong forum, ask in general pls.
Btw yes, should work with ota, but before it run local-prop and after it push-root-files, that's it :good:
These two files can be found in general forum, the tutorial by DragonClawsAreSharp, you can find the link in the rooting guide in my signature, too

But, I have one more doubt.
Will flashing .42 firmware delete all my app data? (I have .62 firmware)
Because, if it does not delete, then I can flash .42 and then root and then take a nandroid backup

No you don't have to unlock your bootloader in order to flash stock. 42 firmware
Or won't void your warranty if you are worried about that
And you can unroot your phone anytime you want
