Hello! so many hard bricked phones need new mainboard.. after that new LQ5 CWM factore reset problemn..
i got mail service center: "The equipment has been in breach of the warranty, the screen mechanically damaged, not covered by the warranty."
so how my display can be broke after when im doing factory reset in CWM? And after that phone wont power on...
and 3 buttons mod dont work.. either USB-jig..
can somebody explain? thanks..
Damn those service centre. Its just an excuses not to replace one for you. Recently my friend hard bricked his 3month old Galaxy Note N7000. Before sending it to service centre I connect it to KIES and run the Emergency Recovery Mode (recovery will show Failed for sure) The idea here is to get
"connect phone to pc" logo instead of normal boot loop Samsung "S" logo then argue with the service counter that all this happen during the Official Firmware upgrade prompt by KIES. 3 days later received sms from service centre "Dear Customer, Your phone is ready for collection....blah..blah...blah at NO cost......isnt it wonderful

Please help.
I tried with I9100XXLPB & I9100XWKF3 but every time odin stuck at setting up connections.
Only one time it succeed that step but still failed in flashing.
If I go to Service Centre, Can they identify my trials. Please help!!!
EDIT: Also tried the stick thread (Intratech), but failed.
Kies bricks phone = warranty will repair .

Dude just take it to the LG service center even though the warranty has been voided. Its just that they will not provide the service for free. But yeah, they will help you out for sure. Cheers.

Hello everybody,
I just got my phone back from a repair shop, they didn't do anything , and said that I better buy a new phone already .
I'd like to know from the experienced members here what exactly happened and if it's really dead forever ???
I just noticed a new update , this was like a month ago .. the phone downloaded the update, went into installing, and when it rebooted, it was stuck at the "Samsung" logo screen . I waited for it to finish but it took long, so I restarted , but the same .
I tried to make a firmware restore .. the volume up method, but after restoring, again it was stuck at the logo screen.
I forgot about it for sometime, and when i sent it to the repair shop, they said I better buy new phone.
It's an international variant, I9300GSMH Made in Vietnam .
So ,, any explanation ?
Regards

Could be a number of things start with the simplest one first go into recovery mode Volume up + Home + Power then wipe cache and factory reset if you haven't tried that already.
Edit:
If that does not work flash a stockrom from sammobile with odin >> http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/ << then factory reset
If that does not work flash with odin emergency firmware recovery >> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=30087735&postcount=6 << follow instructions exactly.
Hello,
my galaxy note 2 (was running stock rom, latest SW) suddenly got bricked after battery reached 0%. When turned on was stuck on SAMSUNG logo then after some time being stuck on the logo the android guy poped up with some quick recovery menu (nothing helped - clearing cache, restoring factory settings).
Kies and reloading SW didnt help. I managed to bring it to life by installing recovery called TWRP using ODIN.
Unfortunately the IMEI is now 0049..... which is some generic one. Resulting unability to use the network.
How to fix this IMEI issue and get my original one back ?
Any idea or do I have to take it to service center where they have the service box ?
If I need to provide more data please ask.
So I bought a redmi note 5a(prime) from a local retailer nearby. I was careless and didnt check the phone. After opening the phone at my home , its not booting up at all and retailer says you bricked the mobile and its against warranty.I didnt even use it once. Please help if anything can be done. No repair shop has been able to fix the problem.Any help or information will be highly appreciated.
