I'm trying to set a wallpaper from my gallery and it is not allowing me to choose a wide format to accommodate a 3 panel home screen. It only allows me to chose a single panel and when I slide to a panel after its set it leaves artifacts behind. See attached image.

I now think it has to do with my Launcher Pro.
I set it to not scroll the background for now.

My S2 didn't have this problem. I could choose multi or single panel.
Strange.

yea im having the same problem.. and im on LPP...
the touchwiz gallery app that ships with the gs3 doesn't let you set a scrollable background but if you copy the gallery2 apk (you can have both the touchwiz gallery and cm9 gallery on the phone at the same time) to set your background, which will do the background scrolling.
found this out tonight (after putting cm9's gallery on my phone this afternoon for something else).

Where can I find the BAMF lightning wallpaper that comes default with the Das BAMF ROMs? Also, how do I get the charging percentage notification in the center of the main screen like in the screenshots I've seen on here?
Thanks in advance for any help
Not sure about the wallpaper (maybe check out the themes and apps section of the forum), but the charging text I believe through "minimalistic text"....you can grab it in the market. Once installed, just long press on the screen where you wanna place it and you can create a widget for it. Hope this helps!

I think the battery widget you've seen is Battstat, it's on the market.

Okay guys. I have this huge gap on my home screen that needs filled, preferably with a widget of some sort. Anything goes (I've used elixir etc). Just trying to fill it up. Here's what I've got

C'mon guys this is so irritating lol
System Tuner Pro or one of those other Overclocking/monitoring apps?
maybe a music player? Or you could use the power control widget and resize it to fit right there.

I've had setcpu there before but when you touch the widget it opens the program and I somehow overclocked my phone high enough to cause it to reboot so it got stuck in a circle. Learned my lesson from that one. Any other ideas?
Blizzard Mobile Authenticator?
Mini info widget

Get a new home screen, LOL
Throw a music, or system tuner widget in there and good to go, or make more space,
Shot from my sharp shooter in 3d
check out an app called "screen off and lock"... should be one of those spaces
then throw a 1x1 system tuner pro shortcut right there for the CPU settings or something.
when I open the default browser my ui changes color I mean the notification bar&menu, keyboard are switching to more brown color ! this inly happens in default browser.
here some screenshots so you can spot the difference.

Press the menu button inside the browser and then go to Colours, see if that's set to Default

Ta for that. High power saving is way too blue was wondering where that color menu was

so there is no sgs3 color bug. Bug was that you did not know the changes you made to settings

There's a difference between the image that lies within the framebuffer, which will be stored when you take a snapshot, and the actual image that is displayed on your AMOLED
Maybe your display is a little whacky. If so, take your SGS3 back for replacement.
Maybe Browser settings is answer for that? Powersaving settings do that?? Test.
edit: not browser settings, its powersaving settings. there is option for that.

Hi is it just me or do you all have the same on your home screen and app menu
First one is the home screen menu when you click on the apps it dose it's effects and looks like it should fade up and out

"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
But it's still there not much of a problem but it dose get a bit annoying as them buttons can't be used so what's the point of keeping them there when the space could be put to a better use like more spacing between apps or for another row of apps?
The second one is the little tabs at the bottom to show what screen you are on one seams to be selected all the time is this due to the screen resolution?

Don't have this issue but you could try another launcher or try going to the ICS or JB touchwiz mods and try another Launcher size e.g. 4 x 5 icons or 5 x 5 icons
Cheers I installed go launcher and it solved both problems I forgot to mention it's on stock ics.
Would like to here from any one else with a stock ics s3 if they have similar issues?
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
That's not right, you should flash a different stock firmware, you might as well be on the latest firmware anyway.

Cheers for the reply. I will give it a go tomorrow as the launcher is draining my battery a bit more than I would like.

I just finished updating this for Kit Kat, so I figured I'd post it now that there are a few ways of getting 4.4 on our Verizon S4's.
It's your typical "enable multi-window for any app" app with a few extra bells and whistles for the donate version. I don't really like mods that enable every single app because it gets messy and lags the tray out pretty bad, so I made this to let you pick and choose which ones to enable. This is still a WIP, so feel free to give suggestions / bug reports.
Create shortcuts to launch 2 apps in windowed mode at the same time
Create shortcuts to launch any app in windowed mode...the point of this being that it allows you to use 3rd party side bar launchers such as GloveBox, SwipePad, etc. in place of the stock flashbar
Launch 2 instances of the same app...some apps don't work. most browsers don't (4.4 samsung browser does by default)
Backup/Restore your enabled apps list
Auto enable newly installed apps
Inverted (Black) flashbar theme
Remove icon labels from the flashbar
