So I have over 2600 songs on my phone and the problem I am having now is that some of the album covers are showing up in my Gallery app. Its not all of them just a certain few. Is there any way to remove them from the Gallery app without losing them for the actual music albums?
Also I have a dropbox and profile photos pictures in the Gallery app as well and would like to get rid of those all together.

It frustrates me that as far as I can tell, photos in the stock gallery are ordered by date, anyone know of a gallery app that can list photos alphabetically? Or any good photo viewer apps in general?
Back in my G1 days, I was a huge fan of the Photoburst album. Its quick and easy to use.
Now that I have Android on my HD2, I redownloaded Photoburst and it found my pictures from my SD just fine, but it is a bit quirky...for starters, it is slow (lags quite badly) when opening and zooming on pictures. The quality is also quite sub-par. The pictures themselves are crystal clear when viewed on my G1 or on my PC.
Has anyone noticed similar issues?
Also, can anyone recommend a decent 3rd party photo album for Android? I am not a fan of the stock Gallery app (albeit, it does work quite well).

did you find any decent Photo Album application for Android ? Photo Galery shows in a low quality when in slide presentation. My Photo just can't update the thumbnails... It has a database update but doesn't works. It keeps showing already deleted folders and photo thumbnais and because of that, when in Slide show, keeps trying to show pictures that already were deleted.
Well...I want a simple, but functional Photo slide application where I can choose one or more folders from my SD card to show.
Any idea ??

Does anyone know how to stop albums from all your linked accounts, dropbox, blogs, google+ etc appearing?
I just want things like downloads, camera and videos, not all this auto-shared stuff.

im also interested in this. also i would like to add music album art to that list. i have over 2000 songs on my phone and all the album work from them are showing up in my stock gallery. if this cant be fixed is there any way someone could add the "hide album" feature to this gallery and distribute it. you could call it "ics gallery+" lol. i love the look of this album just wish it had more features.
just get the app called Quickpic. it allows you to hide albums. especially from gallery app. allows you to hide those special albums n pix you want no one seeing lol
There is a free app called Hide it Pro in android market. It can hide all those pictures, apps, musics, and videos which you don't want them to show up.
I second the use of QuickPic. You can use .nomedia files to hide media files from the media scanner but the stock gallery app is very buggy anyway and probably won't update your folder list properly.

I have added some music to the Gear s but notice that the thumbnail album picture is missing from some tracks and is not displaying on the Gear s.
It seems to be the "resource" tab on the track itself that has a thumbnail picture that the gear s would use. How can I add the thumbnail to the missing tracks/tab?

How did you get the pictures to display?
Thanks for asking. The easiest way is to import the tracks to Windows media player and add the artwork via add info/cover art. Then sync tracks to the Gear, which it will find if it is connected to your pc. The thumbnail picture will then appear on the resources tab of the file and therefore also on the Gear. I find transferring music this way better than using Gear manager, as I can create folders for the albums on the Gear, keeping it organised.
I use Gallery KK for my OnePlus One phone. When I sync my music it adds all the album pictures to the Gallery. How do I limit the Gallery additions and Google from searching my whole phone for pictures? Maybe another app can do that? If I delete the pictures, does it delete the Album picture in the in the music app, Media Monkey?
