Cant get to recovery mode - Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime

Hello,
I just unlocked my prime after realising that stock .28 firmware is doing so much of playing on my nerves, but after trying to go to recovery mode (power on + vol down) and selecting vol up in 5 sec. it begins to boot to recovery the little green droid spins and then it dies showing little droid with red triangle and it wont boot to recovery, eventualy it just reboots to ROM.
I used viperMOD 4.6 to unlock and to install TWRP 2.1 and after that i tried 2.2 but the same red triangle. Did anyone encouter this problem erlier and maybe can provide solution to this nonsence?
FINAL EDIT: Ok, I fuguered it out. somehow every time I tried to proceed I failed to unlock. Finally I downgraded to .21 (think it is optional) and did a factory reset (wiped all data) and then tried to unlock again. Success!
I think this would be helpfull for those who get into same situation.

Try using goo manager to install TWRP.

I'm afraid that you device is not UNLOCk. That happened to me. But that was .21 version.

Well I used Asus tool apk "UnLock_Device_App_V6.apk" from support site to unlock and after finishing my tab rebooted creating log file in internal storage about unlocking my device. I believe that viperMod uses the same unlocking method as original app do. Can you provide workaround or other methods or anything to solve this unlocking problem? meenwhile I'll try searching forum and web for directions.

As already stated you can't install CWM without beein unlocked. You still have the stock recovery. No need to do anything.

bootloop problem after sbf install

Hey there guys
Well im having a problem with my photon right now...
I Had my photon unlocked and rooted , flashed the sprint leaked radio , and when i rebooted back no signal so i was like o alright i'll just sbf to stock and do the whole root , unlock process again
I powered down my phone , went into rsd mode , selected the 1FF-sunfire-user-2.3.4-4.5.1A-1_SUN-198_7-CM-release-keys-signed-Sprint-US.sbf and clicked start , after a couple of minutes the rsd said , please manually reboot your phone , but my phone screen was on , so i left the phone sitting and then it started to boot , but it was stuck in a bootloop , going into the sprint white screen and then back to the dual core and so...
so what should I do to get my phone back ?
thanks in advance
Unlock your phone via derpunlock.sbf
Install custom recovery via fastboot
Wipe system data cache in recovery

Thanks for the reply , but I flashed a boot.img i had via fastboot from a nandroid backup after that i flashed the .sbf and everything went well

Also for future reference you can go in to the stock android recovery and do a factory reset after sbf, that is what fixed my bootloop after hours of disappointment.
i tried to go into the stock recovery after i got the bootloop problem and it gave me a blackscreen with a big exclamation sign and the android guy , weird huh?

Not weird. That is the stock android recovery with the android guy and exclamation mark. To access the options, you need to press the Volume Up + Volume down buttons together and it should give you the options to do a factory reset.

Flashed recovery Rom Manager but when entering I get the Android with red triangle

So my buddy was helping me get my Prime rooted and flashing recovery and while rooting went fine after flashing recovery with Rom Manager it froze so I then used Goo Manager instead which seemed to do it but when trying to boot to recovery I got the Green android with a loading bar below and then it dies with a red triangle.
So tried Rom Manager again and this time it said it flashed recovery fine but once again when trying to access it, the Android just drops dead.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Help! S3 stuck in Samsung Logo. Need urgent advice.

Hello. This is my first time to post in XDA and unfortunately, I seem to have bricked (or soft-bricked) my phone.
I tried to unroot my phone, however, I got stuck in an infinite bootloop between the Samsung Startup, and the following message: Android upgrading screen saying Manual mode, Applying Multi-CSC, Applied the CSC code: BTU. Successfully applied Multi-CSC.
In an attempt to solve, I flashed the stock firmware in download mode through Odin. I got a success message, however, I cannot get past the Samsung Logo.
I would really appreciate if anyone can guide me through on how I can restore my phone. Thanks in advance.
Reboot into recovery mode and full wipe/ factory reset. Then reboot as normal

I can't get into recovery. Is there a way to install cwn from download/Odin?
Are you sure that you can't enter into recovery mode bypressing the buttons? You was with usb debugging on? You can try to use adb "adb reboot recovery" to enter in recovery mode.

CF Root 6.4 Injects CWM via ODIN.
Your problem seems to be settings related tho, usually you get that fixed cleaning cache and dalvik, as stated before. Try to get into recovery mode to check that, and if that dont work I would try reflashing all over step by step.-

You need to hold them until your phone reboots. Takes a few seconds maybe 5-10

I'm sure the OP should be able to enter Download Mode and flash another ROM via ODIN. Try that if you can't access recovery.
Im 100% he's not doing it the right way.
If you can get in downloadmode to use Odin, you can also get in the Recovery menu.
Hold volume up , home, and power untill it reboots.
Keep holding it untill you see the white text, release power, but keep holding volume up and home.
Its not so difficult.

This happened to me to... i flashed a nordic stock rom, from JB because I wanted to go back to android 4.0.4.. now I'm stuck at the logo screen. I have noot rooted or anything so I cant go to recovery, only download mode.. What do I do?
same with the guys above but i had 4.0.4 and when i flashed stock i am stuck with the samsung logo. my s2 was fixed with the new stock rom as it seem it didnt support old stock after flashing new roms. may be is should try jb instead. all i did was used samsung tool should have done one by one myself. instead of using tool.
***Edit***
Okey I fixed it by going to recovery and then wiped up everything (dalvik/cache-data/cache partition) so it worked now... Here is the question. I bought the cell 2nd hand with paper and everything here is my question. on the box and back sticker of the cell phone it is XXXXXX/XX/XXXXXX/6 when i got the phone and did *#06# I got XXXXXX/XX/XXXXXX/04 and then when i tried to use samsung toolkit it went hanged in samsung logo so after i fixed it when i got back to the phone i checked my imei again now its XXXXXX/XX/XXXXXX/01 just the last is different is it okay or is something screwed my cell? btw it was locked to 3 and i used galaxysimunlocked (after) checking imei it is working but still i am concerned about the last number all the 14 numbers are right nothing changed.

[Q] Prime stuck on Asus screen

Hi, I have a question.
I have unlocked my tablet with ASUS tool, but i couldn't get CWM and root on to it. But my tablet was working. Today i tried to do factory reset from settings, but it just restart and showed asus screen. So I boot fastboot and tried wipe data. It was showing that it could take few minutes, but nothing happen so i power it off and power it on, but it shows only ASUS screen and now i cant even get to fastboot.
Thank you for your help.
im in the same boat just happened now
I am having the same problem, I tried to install CWM recovery and now my prime gets stuck on the ASUS screen. it is also not visible when using adb on windows computer.
Looks like you're bricked. Have you done nvflash?

No i didn't. I thought that i had to have root, or something for it.

Correct me I'd I'm wrong, but I think you don't need root. As you unlocked, you got access to fastboot and you can flash custom recovery (TWRP) and then flash any Rom you want (rooted or not).
Sent from my LT30p using Tapatalk 2
But i can't acces to fastboot :/
Damn...same thing happened to me!
I have 2 Primes and I unlocked fine and then used Urkel's fresh root..it installed fine..but then..when I tried to enter Recovery, NOTHING HAPPENED. Then I tried to "wipe data", nothing happened again.
I rebooted and now I'm stuck on the 1st screen, cannot enter any menu at all!....How the hell did it brick???
I did the same thing to my other Prime and it worked fine, I installed the latest Energy Rom. The only difference between the 2 was that the other Prime had the latest update and this one had .15 update.
I can't understand how it bricked!
Any way to bring it back to life?
