Done this: Downloaded stock TW, then installed it with CWM, but after reboot, I've got 'Unfortunately, TouchWiz Home has stopped' and the same in a cycle.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.

I dont have a uninstall app and I have ADW and Launcher installed. I need to use the Stock launch, any ideas how to get it to prompt me to chose?
Couldn't you just download "Home Switcher"?
Just install 'Home Switcher'. You can select the launcher from that.
hey there i was just wondering if there is a way to change the adw launcher in cyanogenmod 7.03 to launcher pro
Yes you can change the launcher in any Android ROM. Install LauncherPro, press Home button, check "Use by default for this action", then select LauncherPro.

Just leave it. It doesn't take up any app storage space because it was part of the ROM.

Also, If you're s-off after installing launcherpro you can move it to the /system/app folder too. If you're not s-off you can preinsert it into the rom zip in the /system/app folder or use adb to push it to the /system/app folder.
The same methods can be used to remove adw. I like to remove whatever I don't use because rebooting after wiping dalvik takes longer the more apps you have.

Hi all
I'm running stock unrooted XLPQ (ICS) on my GS2 and using the Apex launcher.
Now I noticed that TWLauncher is still running in the background. Will force stopping it (settings -> applications -> all -> TWLauncher -> Force stop) help in any way? (either battery life or whatever)
or
Do I just leave and ignore it
Thanks

Already set as "always on".
Does the flash work on any other browser?
No = flash problem > uninstall flash, reboot into Recovery and clear cache (if CWM recovery, cache & advanced/dalvik). Reboot and re-download (not from backup)
Yes = browser problem > settings > applications > all > internet > clear data/cache (this will wipe your bookmarks etc and don't forget to check internet settings again!)
Hope this helps

You have to change the default launcher app
How do you change the default app?
@Sebring5
(sorry for my bad english)
1. go to preferences
2. apps
3. standard-apps
4. launcher
Kind regards
Vesaros
Install it from the Store or with the APK on your phone, then go in Settings > Applications > Default applications > Launcher.
- If you install the app from the play store
- head to settings and search for default apps
- select the home so you wish to use
Huawei disable the request to such home screens on hitting home like in stock Android. So if the new launcher crashed it will revert to the stock one and you must repeat this process
