HELP!! Broken screen, need to backup! Have root. - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi all, hope one you learned peeps can help me out.
Have the I9100t telstra S2 that belongs to the mother in law, screen broken and touch dead. I need to get a backup of the photos and whatever else on the internal storage.
It powers up, i have managed to get it rooted via odin and i can get it into download mode.
Unfortunately debug is not enabled so i can't use the pull command thru adb as the s2 doesnt show up when i do a adb devices command.
It does connect to odin so if there is anyway to do it, i guess it would be thru that?
Does anyone know how i could possibly enable debug to do an adb pull or backup?
or is there a rom out there that can be flashed via odin and has debug enabled by default?
any help will be greatly appreciated!

[Q] Galaxy S2 - Access via ADB from Odin / Recovery?

Hello Guys,
I know that there are many threads regarding boot loop etc...
In the end I don't care if I get my S2 working again or not,
but I NEED the files on my internal storage!
I have a Mac and a PC, both with ADB installed,
but no matter if I'm in recovery, or Odin Download Mode,
I can not access my device via ADB.
Is there anything I missed out,
or is it just not possible at all,
and the only thing I can do is wiping it?
Many thanks in advance...

Maybe I should add:
I already checked the Device Manager of my PC, and it DOESNT show up,
so the regular guide for accessing it during recovery mode doesnt work...

[Q] Broken screen with USB Debugging off

Hi,
I have a Samsung Galaxy S2 (i9100G version) with a broken screen. The display is blank and shows nothing, but I know the phone is working properly because of the sounds played (boot sound and notifications).
I have come through this tool: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2786395 , but there is only one problem. USB Debugging is not enabled. The phone is not rooted, and is fully on stock (ROM and Recovery). All I want is to only enable USB Debugging, and I can use ADB to do everything else. I tried to boot it into recovery to see if that gives me ADB access, but it boots normally. I tried to boot it to Download mode to flash CWM through odin, but I can't see anything and it still boots normally. I pulled the settings.db file from another S2 with the USB Debugging enabled, but I need ADB to push it to the broken phone. I read the solution in the link above, but I don't know how to sideload or how to edit a kernel or anything like that. I have access to another S2 (same version), rooted, and with a custom recovery (CWM) if that will help in pulling a file or anything. I read so many threads, but none of them had the exact problem, or worked when trying to do what they said. What I can do now to enable USB Debugging?
Please help. Thanks in Advance
EDIT: I was able to go to recovery mode and ADB Shell, but I cannot get root permission at all to edit build.prop or even settings.db

[Q] Backup Phone, Enable USB Debug on Samsung Galaxy S3 that has a broken screen

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone can help with my poorly phone?
My phone broke a couple of days ago and the screen is black and digitizer has broken therefore I’m unable to use it. I don’t think there is any point trying to get the screen fixed but it will cost as much as a new phone would. But what I would like to do is backup the data on my phone.
I have not got USB Debugging enabled and when I connect my phone to the PC, the drivers are installed and I see my phone as a portable media device but there are no files or drives to display the phones data through windows explorer! Please help!?
After some research on the internet I have downloaded [email protected] and ADB.exe but the phone is not recognised (I believe this is because USB Debugging is not enabled).
I then did some further investigation and managed to book my phone under fastboot in recovery mode and selected ADB mode, this connects to my PC and new driver is installed but I am now not sure how I can use this mode to backup my device? And enable USB debugging so I can use my phone on [email protected]
Anyone able to help?
Thanks
Sir,
Please wait until mods will move this thread to the device specific forum for more relevant answers.
Stand by
Good luck

Locked out of Samsung S4 Mini

I have a Verizon SCH-I435 gx4 mini and I forgot my pin. Android device manager can't help me put it into lost mode and over ride screen lock. The interesting part is when I boot into recovery and go to factory data restore as a last option it says it's in display mode (MTM). The phone boots into Odin mode just fine. On all my phone I always turn on USB debugging which I believe if you have a pc you need to enable to use Odin correct me if I'm wrong. So if there's a way to keep my files safe and use my phone again it would be appreciated.

Let's make Points
1-Odin Doesn't require any USB-Authentication such as Debugging Enabled
2-Only adb Requires Debugging
3-Great Thing you enabled it.
Now you can Apply two ways.
One you can boot into recovery and go into adb.Now on PC install adb and connect it to your phone(Go read a Tuto or watch a Video on how to do it)Now remove the locksettings.db file from /data partition(Use google to find the exact location)
Or you can pull the locksetting.db copy to your PC and crack the code using hashcat. But I recommend the first one.Next Time be cautious and if you don't know how to delete files using adb go read how to.

Recover data from locked Samsung Galaxy A51

Hi,
I'd like to recover data from a Samsung Galaxy A51 .
The phone is locked and I don't have the pincode (forgotten), I've been able to turn it off (only with USB connected, otherwise asks pin) and put it in recovery mode, but from there couldn't reboot to bootloader/download mode... (the phone just restart normally).
I think USB debugging is disabled too...
I was looking into adb commands with clockworkmod installed to pull data out, but I can't find a way to flash it to the phone..
I'm fairly new to Android but I have experience with computers and procedures.
How can I achieve the data recovery?
Thank you very much for your help.

If you can't unlock the screen and if USB debugging was not enabled before the issue started, you will not be able to recover your data.
