Hey guys I was wondering if anyone knows where I can find the bookmarks in the system. For some reason I can't delete them from the browser our from the bookmarks app I use.... figured I'd try root explorer but I can't find them. Any help will be appreciated.

I asked the same question the other day, got no fix even with root. Best bet is to store your bookmarks under your google account rather than locally. Then you can hide the local bookmarks.
Latest ICS "Web" app is showing i have about a 1,000 Local bookmarks. Don't know where they came from but looks like history ?
When I try multiple deletes using the Web app it locks up or I get "com.google.process.gapps" has stopped.
So I want to delete the bookmarks using Root Explorer but don't know where they are stored? Anyone know?

I am trying to save a bookmark in the default browser (4.0.4)and it keeps saying bookmark in use... There are no saved bookmarks held in the browser.. Does anyone know how i can save the bookmark ? I have tried clearing cache/data but it still complains!

Hey all,
So I'm trying to delete all the stock bookmarks. However, there are 3 that seemingly cannot be deleted (Google, Your Guide Mobile, and VZW Home Page). I've tried clearing data for the Browser in App Management, as well as downloading Bookmark SB to try and delete them. Nothing seems to be working so far.. does anyone know of any tricks I haven't tried yet? Thanks!

I use the bookmarks widget that comes with the stock browser, i like to have all the bookmarks thumbnails and i see that everytime i flash a new ROM i lose all the thumbnails
Anyone know where are stored the bookmarks thumbnails to backup it before install a new ROM?
Or there is an apk that creates all my bookmarks thumbnails with one click?
