Make sure the box about the limit is unchecked. And, for good measure set the limit to 100gb (high as it would let me go).

As others have said, just set it to the maximum you can. Obviously, that ammount will vary upon device and app used to monitor data usage. With 3g watch dog the limit is 500GB a day, which I clearly couldn't hit, but at least I can monitor what I use without getting warning from the app.

Excuse me if it's a dumb question, but what is this widget?

Noticed a green widget called TRAFFIC in my widget list that I swear wasn't downloaded by me...OR...Maybe it's a stock app that I just didn't notice before. Either way, it doesn't seem.to work. Could someone please enlighten me. Any one got any idea what this is?

Whilst I can confirm that it is a stock app, I can't say what it's for. I tried it and it just ran Google maps, showing my current location. I can only guess that it does exactly that, but with traffic density showing on the map (which is an option in Google maps).
Thanks for confirming...and reassuring that it's a stock app. By it's functionality, I'm guessing that maybe it's one of the less thought out apps on gs2.

Anyone know of a way to get the bar battery where it goes all the way from one side to the other? I used it on a ICS room and wish I had it on the CM10 i am using now.
It's hard to see in this picture, it's the thin blue line all the way at the bottom.
I couldn't see a thing in the picture.
But do you mean a thin line always being shown on the screen indicating battery status? If so, Battery Mix does that. It's free and has many options, it has a statusbar icon as default but it can be disabled.

High Android System Data Usage

Hey guys,
Last month I got pretty close to my shared data cap so this month I'm trying to be a bit more frugal. According to my data usage logs though, in the last few days my "android system" has used a LOT of data. Anyone have any idea what could be doing it? 200MB all in the background. I decided to block the system from data access via a firewall change (WiFi only) and see if that stops it.

That won't help considering data charges only apply for when you're not on wifi. Could of been that you updated a large app or several while not being on wifi.

Then it would show the play store using a lot of data I don't think it's apps. I think it's a system app continuously trying to connect to something.

[Q] Help! I can't use my packet data connection.

I flashed a ROM called Custom Rom Ceberus V5 (S3 Edition) by Frang
but the packet data connection does not appear in status bar when I touch it and I can't connect using packet data connection.
is it the ROM's problem or there's something I need to do?
Here's the screen shot of it..

Check the accespoint names in the 2nd screenshot. Maybe the entries have be deleted. If you need to get them back, you can check online if your carrier shows them somewhere.

[Q] ok, how on earth do you disable the data download warning in the play store?

}
that one? i only ever really use 3g and want to permanently disable this warning.
looked under the download app - no options, nothing in play store, data under settings etc.
any ideas?
anyone have any thoughts on how to do this?
here is something.. but why am I seeing your screenshot in this one year old thread?
http://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/help-google-play-wifi-warning.17287/
I have a hazy recollection that this is actually delivered from Google play online rather than the app. They used to have it triggered for any app over 10mb, then when 3g became mainstream they upped it. My memory is pretty crap most of the time so this could all have been a dream.

How about you un-check "Download using WiFi only"? Aaand it looks like you've used a screenshot from a MIUI ROM, which isn't a crime, but strange
i found a thread re same issue and that had the screengrab (same thing, wrong rom).
unchecking it works for that 1 time and 1 time only which means every time you update a large app you have to manually do it. it's pointless and a waste of time
there was a fix for the miui rom but doesnt apply to ours (in the downloads app but there's no options for it on our phones)
