Hey guys,
I am planning on getting an android tablet and I can't decide which one. I'd love to get the Nexus 7 and what not but I am not happy with the price tag... I really don't want to go spend more than $200 at the moment. I keep looking at the chinese variants because the price is superb for the power they tend to have. The thing is I don't like the idea of not having GAPPS... sooo.... I'd like some help. I don't want to go much higher than $250 if it's reasonable. Any suggestions guys?

Really depends on the what you want. I think the Nexus 7 is affordable in its own class. A tablet must be something you will use without frustration and improve your lifestyle, not give you headaches.
Do factor those in when buying. Saving a few bucks for a year of regret ain't good.

I'm thinking about picking up a Flyer, but I'm afraid to get burned by eventual release of rumored Google tablet. Is anyone looking to sell their Flyer?
I see auctions on Ebay have them going for around $130 but without pics to verify what condition they're in. I was hoping to spend ~100 bucks.
Sorry too low
220 is around asking based on condition and accessories.

Hey guys, thanks for the offers. Sorry if I offended anyone with my asking price. I haven't done a ton of research and I was just spitballing.
Let me think about it. I don't have a real need for a tablet so this was more of a "on a whim" type idea.
I'd be interested in selling my flyer 16gb (BB model) for around $175-200 depending on accessories.
I have a View that's in near mint condition, but I'm looking for well above your stated price. Figured I'd put it out there just in case, though.
Just an FYI for anyone interested. I've listed my Flyer for sale in the marketplace. Hope it's ok to include a link.
Flyer for sale here.
if still interested, my boss is selling his evo view

I wound up getting one off eBay. I'll let you guys know what kind of condition it's in and I'm sure I'll be on the boards testing out ROMs.

Hello,
Simply put, I'm no longer interested in having my nook tablet. It's a wonderful device, but it is of little use to me.
So I'm selling it at a greatly reduced price. I have the 16GB version, and I purchased it in April. I'm hoping to get $170 for it. If you're interested let me know, and I can provide proof that it is currently fully functioning, etc. It is currently running CM7.

You're probably better off in the Marketplace forum for this. Good luck selling your NT!
I'm probably selling mine as well, though I'll still be following the Nook Tablet as my gf wants to keep hers.
I just replaced my Sprint Motorola Photon with a Galaxy Nexus and will possibly grab a Nexus 7 when they're released. Only Nexus/GE devices for me in the future. The NT was a fun challenge but Nexus devices are where its at.
I'll buy one but for $100. The 16gg sells brand new for $189

Most have been going for $150-175, more with accessories of course.
Better sell fast. After nexus 7 will flood market. Price will be max $70.

For sure. Honestly, if I were selling mine, I wouldn't hold my breath hoping for more than $50. But since the Nexus lacks microSD, I'll stick with the latest releases of CM.

You guys need to remember one other thing: availability.
The Nexus 7 won't be available everywhere right away and more specifically, its cloud services (google music/movies/tv). I know a lot of people purchase kindle fires/nook tablets via ebay with the sole purpose of rooting and throwing on a custom rom or at least the play store so that they can have a "tablet experience."
The nook color was extremely popular for this last year.
My bad its $199 @Walmart.

Hello all,
In the near future I would like to sell my GP 5.0 to replace it for a phone.
It is almost 1 year old, has got some small scratches on the back and you can see its back has been damaged a bit (because it had been moved a table for example). But the screen itself is still perfect without scratches.
Do you think I can get (at least) 100 euros, which is around 125 USD, if i sell it?
I live in the Netherlands btw.
Greetings and thx in advance.

Judging on the prices for used ones on Amazon. I say yes it is still worth it. Believe it or not people are still buying the original 4.0 and 5.0 instead of the newer 3.6 and 4.2. However, I suggest selling it now because I believe the new iPod 5th gens are coming out around September-October
SELL IT NOW! I just sold mine for at $200 and I had to include a bunch of extras with it. Do it now because the price is going down in value
There is a new ICS galaxy player being released soon so if you want to sell it, you should sell it now or you won't get anything near what you paid for it

Thanks all. I only want to sell it because i want a phone instead of a 'dumb phone' and this mini-tablet, that just annoys me. Have to carry both everywhere.
Also I would like to pre-thank all developpers and people who've done great work for the device's development.

I'm considering buying this device, and I was wondering what people think of it, how the development is, and last but not least, how hard is it getting used to the size. I've played around with it for a little bit, but $300 is a little hard to swallow for something I'm unsure of. I appreciate any opinions... BTW I looked for a general talk thread before I posted here

I haven't read many complaints at all. I didn't have to get use to the size, it was nice right away.
Look in the development sections, it was rooted 2 or 3 days after release and the bootloader was unlocked a week later.
There are at least 5 or 6 ROMs out for it at the moment.
I have owned about 12 android phones since the OG DROID.... This is easily the best phone I have ever owned. The size feels normal now... Doesn't feel big at all. I could never go to a smaller screen now. This phone is stupid fast too.... All around awesome

i have to say this is my best upgrade since going from the curve to the original droid. Ive had the droid x, thunderbolt, charge, and gs3, but this is just another world of usefulness. I havent turned my tablet on since getting it.
I have owned practically every Motorola android phone. This is my first Samsung. I am thoroughly impressed. It's absolutely awesome. At this point it would take me a lot to go back to Motorola - or a smaller phone. I love the size of it. It has almost replaced both my tablets. I would highly recommend it.

Best phone I've owned, I'm 6'5 so the size makes no issue to me. I feel funny holding any other device now. Don't forsee myself ever owning anything smaller. On the other hand, rumors of the n3 being 6.3in are crazy? This device is sized perfectly.
I was also able to haggle with Verizon down to $250, tell them you know a manager in another territory that can ship you phone on discount but you don't wanna wait, tell them you want to walk out with it today (when you go in). Discount is around $60 from a territory manager I know...
Good luck!

No regrets at all I was scared to jump on it but after having the phone for a little while it's amazing.
I think you'll have more trouble getting used to the size of any phone other than this one once you've used it. After one day with this phone I don't imagine I could ever use a smaller phone again. As for development, considering how new it is, it's pretty impressive. We have a few TouchWiz and AOSP roms already. I thought 300 was outrageous at first (considering all other high-end phones are about 200) but considering the amount of phone (feature-wise and physically) it is pretty reasonable. Just go for it. I am (almost) willing to personally guarantee you'll love it.

I just got this phone yesterday. I paid full retail price for it. I thought I would be disappointed, however I love it. I have had the OG droid, the Galaxy nexus, Droid bionic, HTC rezound... and now this. The OG droid was my favorite before this. All the phones in between were pretty bogus, none of them met my expectations. This phone is a massive leap in hardware and software compared to all the others.
You ask that question on this forum.. what results are you excepting? If people are here, they are fans of the device.
As for me, it's awesome. I got my teenage son one too, he is ecstatic.
I couldn't decide and finally just said **** it since Verizon extended the return period. So far I'm very happy. Came from a Galaxy Nexus...

Thanks for the input everyone, its greatly appreciated. I'm gonna lay my rezound down and take the $300 plunge tomorrow.

Buy this baby you won't be disappointed. I can't seem to put mine down lol. It does so much. It's well worth the money. I'm 6'6"so the size of the phone wasn't a issue for me. The bigger the better &I'm coming from the S3.

im in the same boat , bought off contract to keep unlimited data. In coming from a gnexus I will say that I love love love the hardware but I hate the software. I've become such a CM fanboy that i think im just jaded to sloppy looking touchwiz and carrier bloat. ill be in heaven once some official cm nightlies start rolling out. for now the jelly beans rom and nova have hidden a lot of the touchwiz bs but theres still a lot to remove to be back to normal. I have to also add that im very impressed with the battery life of this thing.
I paid the full price for and I hate paying full price for anything and it was worth it. You part of the club yet?
So I'm debating but I have a buyer for my note at 320 and I seen the white nexus 4 surface and I'm thinking selling add 50 and get n4 but is this really an upgrade I mean processor and os of course but is that enough or is galaxy nexus better so confused wish note had update would so much easier would just keep my fish please help with your opinions sorry if posted already just f it lol
Sent 4rm my Note that WONT STOP CRYING FOR 4.2

Hey there,
The N4 is a stellar device! The price that Google is selling it is great, too.
If you can deal with the following:
No mico-sd card
No battery exchange
Smaller screen
No Pen
Other than that, everything else is an upgrade!
It also depends on what you bought the Note for originally. I bought it as a middle-ground of my phone and tablet so I didn't have to take two things around on normal days since I like to read manga and stuff.
Again, at that price, you could easily use the N4 until the next device comes out that you might want (e.g. S4 or Note 3 perhaps?) then sell the N4.
EDIT: Oh yeah, it's a Nexus device so less waiting games for updates if you like cutting-edge OS software. This is something I'm VERY interested in if the S4/Note3 don't do it for me, I'd think about the next Nexus. If the pricing is the same, it's a deal!
Well I got my nexus today and sold my note two days ago for 350 got nexus for 350 from somebody because long waits on shipping but my first thoughts untied unrooted is small feels small AT FIRST ONLY... Screen is beautiful sharp crisp it feels very nice in my hands my thumb reached both sides of keyboard again lol is fast as hell and so responsive and it is very sexy
