Does the Galaxy S3 have oleophobic coating on its screen to prevent fingerprints? I looked online for the answer but couldn't seem to find it on multiple reviews or product pages. Thanks!

[Q] Thin, clear, anti-fingerprint screen protector

Does such a screen protector exist? The thin and clear ones all seem to do poorly in resisting fingerprints. Amazon shows one called Generiks for the iphone and galaxy s2 that's reviewed highly, but nothing for our phone yet.

im sure it does. it is miles better than my s2 with fingerprints. even when it does get them, it wipes right off
I got screen protector against those nasty drops (google em up). So oleofobic screen is the least of my worries.

confusion about screen protectors

So i get the general idea that screen protectors prevent your phone screen from getting scratched. are there any that actually protect it from cracking?
Go to accessories and you will find a couple of threads regarding tempered glass screen protectors, but be aware that you need to read the threads thoroughly regarding issues with these

[Q] Oil Resistant Screen Protectors

Hi all,
One thing that has really been frustrating me lately is how easy it is to get fingerprints and oil marks on my Galaxy Note screen. It drives me crazy so much that I have gotten in the habit of bring a cloth with me everywhere I go. I have done some searching off and on this site and have found some that claim to be finger print or oil resistant. But nothing compares to referrals from hand on experience. Anybody out there have this frustration, but was able to solve it with a specific screen protector? Is it realistic to expect little to no oil or fingerprints on some screen protectors out there?

Oleophobic coating

As most of us know, the screen of our P10 does not has an oleophobic coating. This is the main reason why Huawei delivers the P10 out of the factory with a screenprotector.
As I don't like to use screenprotectors, I was looking for other solutions and discovered that it is possible to add an oleophobic coating afterwards yourself.
Doe anyone here has some experience with this?
Regards,
I bought some cheap stuff from China. It was great... For what was probably just a few minutes. A few hours later my phone was a slimy mess. I use a glass protector with coating instead.
I used the liquid screen protector "Shark Proof" from Amazon UK which adds a further layer of scratch protection to the Gorilla Glass 5 as well as an oleophobic coating. It has been applied for approx 3 weeks, very pleased so far.
