Recommended multitasking mod for stock - Sprint HTC EVO 4G LTE

I am on stock 1.22 (rooted, s-off), and I am looking for a way to improve multitasking. I installed via the OTA, so I believe my room is Odexed.
I have used zepplin's v6 supercharger on my old phone, but does it work on an odexed ROM? Any other mods people recommend for improving multitasking on stock?

Bump?

I've flashed charmeleon Rom and switched to the ics recent apps and it works perfectly

Switching the physical look of the multi-tasking made Sense not as aggressive in killing apps? I'm not buying this. Please clarify what you mean by it "working perfectly".

Get the V6 supercharger mod. I'd link but am on the phone app. Search for it, you'll find it.

I'm supercharged, and multi-tasking is still a farce.

Go into your settings/apps. Select all. Then scroll down your app list until you find the task manger app. The select it, force stop, clear data, then select disable.

Should one only do this if they are supercharged?

Disable is not an option for me, although I can stop and clear data. I suppose I can always use titanium to freeze/uninstall it. Will doing this alone help with multitasking?

I've been using the V6 supercharger for the last week or 2, but have only been able to get it 50% supercharged, and have not been impressed. I've been trying the post 2 for ICS to get it 100%, but been getting errors. Are you using it on stock? Did you get 100% supercharged?

You can disable the apk if your supercharged or not, as to how it will effect you if you are using that mod is what I don't know because I've never used the supercharged script. I've disabled the apk and it hasn't effected my setup at all.

That I don't know because every user setup is different. What you can do is just make a backup of the apk and as you posted use tb to freeze it or uninstall it and see how it effects your setup.

I don't know which setting you chose but I have found that the setting that says five hundred and something with the words multitasking beside it gave me better performance than higher HP settings.

Did you do the things in post 2 of the supercharger post specifically for ice cream sandwich?

New update question

On my t bolt the new update made it change to page scrolling for my apps. How do I change it back so there are no pages?
perhaps send EchoX860 a PM. He recently got no page scrolling on my ROM (which is pretty much stock). He might be able to help you.

[Q] Prevent Facebook-service from running - without removing facebook

Does anyone have a suggestion on how to do this? All suggestions I see are to remove facebook.
For me I would like to keep it on the phone, as I use it twice a week, but I hate that it always has a service running which takes up to 10mb of ram.
I tried removing that service from the startup list, but it puts itself back in again.
I don't care about the facebook updates (eg. notification) I just want the program to be active when I click on it, not all the time.
Any suggestions?

I kicked it out of there aswell, but still finds it's way back.
I also disabled it's trigger events... it just keeps coming back.
If I didn't know any better i'd say it's a virus

I would used Titanium Backup to freeze it and test whatever sms client you are using instead. I use Google Voice for everything and have had my messaging frozen (disabled) and everything works.

flash videos not working after ics update.

I've done that. Still doesn't work. Oh well.
On certain ice toms I had that issue. What I did to fix it was I moved it from a system app to a user app and it started working perfectly.

Try Dolphin Browser, set the user agent to Desktop. Just curious as if it's the browser, does your YouTube app work? Im not sure of you tried "clear data" and "clear cache" on the App manager options

Rooted & looking to uninstall bloat

What's up everyone. Just rooted my Rezound and wanted to get rid of some of the factory installed apps/games etc....
Is there a list of "YES" and "NO" things that I can uninstall so I don't remove something I shouldn't.
Also I got Root uninstaller from the market, will this app do the trick or should I use something different.
Thanks in advance.

Since your rooted, you could try Titanium Backup. It allows you to "freeze" apps which has a similar effect to actual removal but you can unfreeze them if you need to. There are some old list around but they have not been updated in a long time. I have frozen about 43 user apps--just stay away from system apps.
Good luck.

Thanks I'll give it a shot
