Ok I was trying to root my 3.6 US version, when i accidentally flashed the rom for the 4.2. I fixed it, and flashed the regular 3.6 US rooted rom from attn1. After that, when i turned it on, the screen would not work!!!! I have tried flashing diff. kernels but the stock kernel isn't able to flash, either that or I'm doing it wrong. Can someone give me the kernel if you have it, and instructions on how to flash it? I NEED my mp3 to work again D:

Ok, so your kernel just fails to flash? Or after flashing it the touch screen just still doesnt work?
It will flash. But the screen won't work
I cant promise that this is a solution, but have a look at this thread.
Here's the link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2080006
This could at least maybe help us figure out what is going on. Since the SGP 3.6 doesnt have many(if any at all) custom roms, it could be a difficult fix.
How would that work with GP3.6??
Ok, I devised a plan that might work! If not, well it was worth the try.
I applied the steps from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2068819
1. Flash your SGP 3.6 stock ROM
2. Flash just the stock kernel only
3. Flash the wrong ROM again
4. Now, flash the stock ROM again
5. Reboot your device. If it doesnt boot just let it go for about five minutes without shutting it off or anything. Then hold in the power button until it shuts off, and flash the stock ROM again.
6. Reboot, and if it boots the touch screen should work.
thanks so much. <3

Yep, i think you've got it.
ok, so i have st25i, with stock as well as Zperiance v1 as roms... n munjeni n sliding XU kernels.
Firstly thanx to these guys!
i tried flashing 213 FXP but it gets stuck on boot just after free Xperia logo in the CM9 LOGO...
so i downloaded FXP 214 it worked when i flashed it over Zperiance v1 with kernels of both type(munjeni & Sliding XU) but the Network service is not available plus messaging keeps crashing and many more things crash like few of the setting, mobile settongs.
i even flash gapps n i did not see any bug report on the forums like this.
and when i flashed over stock ics 1.54 st25i with either of the kernels, it again gets stucks on that CM9 boot logo.
now ppl where am i going wrong??
help please

Factory reset does not erase data on SD card....Your CWM backups are safe.Factory rest just formats /data partition i.e you lose all your third party apps and customizations(contacts and settings)......Just follow drsanket's instructions and you will be back on track.

BTW which fw are you using??B.54 generic(361 MB) or vodafone branded(651 MB).......

If you choose to use this Slising kernel, it has autoroot function build in. In the same thread there is a flashable SU, after flashing it you will be rooted.
EDIT: Look at the second post - rooting your device.

Hi guys.
I successfully boot android n preview 3 in our device with flashing ftf from z3 and flashing kernel from xda.But I have 3 problem
-I can't flash recovery after ftf.It says "FAILED (remote: partition table doesn't exist)"
-I flashed original baseband from Z2 ftf but still no sim error.
-THERE IS A REALLY ANNOYING POINTER IN SCREEN AND I CANNOT REMOVE IT I NEED TO USE MY FINGER LIKE A MOUSE(i tried developer option show touches etc didn't work)
-Getting camera not found error
After that everything works like a charm(GPS,WiFi,Bluetooth etc.) how can I solve the problems.
Thanks
