Hey, ppl does anyone know of an app Calendar that stores the entries locally (on the sd or phone) so that I can move them later by hand. I find it much better to have a hard backup on my pc than on some server...
And can anyone tell me whats the theme with the pockets in the corners for 3 apps pls?
Thanks in advance!

Titanium backups apps with the data they carry! It asked me if I wanted it to return only the calendar apk or the apk+the data. Thanks for the advice...

Titanium was great
Upon restoring you have to choose to install each app during the process but that's fine, a lot faster than installing from Market ^^
Titanium backup, choose backup my apps ,and then "tick" app only from menu and press GO!!

I have over 400 (estimated) track ID's stored in my phone. Id like to flash a new rom but im fairly positive i will lose the whole list of songs. Is there anyway to export the list? Is there a text file somewhere that i can copy over or a way to back up then restore it once i flash?
No one can help?

I prefer the AOSP phone app myself, but why remove one at all? Just use Titanium Backup to freeze which ever one you don't want to use. That way if a problem comes up with the phone app you choose to keep, you can unfreeze the other.
Cheers!

Hey guys, I recently came across an app which lets you take nandroid backups (EXACTLY like the ones we take from recovery) WITHOUT going into recovery. Meaning, you don't need to power down your cell, enter recovery and then execute backup....you can do that (in a way) 'online' i.e. while you simultaneously use your cell.
I hope this makes you appreciate it's utility.
I've taken (and will continue to take) several backups using this app and they all were flawless! Not a single problem with restoring backups (via CWM) also! Give it a try and you'll be amazed how handy this tool really is...
Hats off to the original dev (Ameer Dawood) for making life so much easier! :good:

Nah! The app takes nandroid backup EXACTLY like through recovery, but it takes it while you simultaneously use your cell....as in an 'online' backup ..You don't need to power down your cell and enter recovery to take backup .....and the backup is stored in sd, not the cloud (although you can save it in your dropbox folder which eventually will be uploaded to cloud storage)....Hope this makes the use of app more clear (I'll update OP too)....just give it a try and you'll know what I mean...

Hello XDA. I don't know if this is the right place to be posting this but I need some help with titanium backup. Every time I backup my apps and then restore them, the apps that have been restored don't show up in the notification bar when I receive a notification from that app. So I have to reinstall all my social apps so that I will get notifications from them. Or else people would talk to me on Facebook messenger, for example, and I would only be able to see that the moment I open the app. Because there's no notifications on the restored apps with titanium backup.
Does anybody else have this issue? And possibly a fix? Thanks.
Also, I use titanium backup premium version 5.7.0.1

I often have a problem with ebo birthday after a restore. Usually I have to remember to run the app once after a restore then it works fine. Maybe Facebook too. Though I'm not sure its titanium backup....

You've already gotten an answer. Run each app after a restore.

That doesn't work. I found that only instagram, facebook and messenger lose their ability to share notifications with the phone. And I use those apps a lot so I can say I ran them after restoring. And notifications still don't pop up. Therefore, no, I don't have an answer.
