TWRP Bootlooping - TouchPad General

So, I have one of the latest CM9 nightlightes and am using TWRP with GooManager. Everything has been find the last couple of weeks and then today I tried to boot into TWRP and it just kept looping. It shows the TeamWin logo and then reboots. I can hold power and center button to get to the moboot menu and boot into CM9 perfectly. I tried reinstalling TWRP from GooManager, but that didn't work.

[Q] Stuck in bootloop CM9 lost recovery

Resolved - when after many attempts to boot into recovery I gave up and downloaded the Odin version of CWM and was trying to go into boot mode I accidentally managed to go into recovery and was able to recover. I think I will stay away from goo manager or rom manager - neither worked for me. Never had problems just following posted steps on XDA.
I decided to take the plunge and flash my first rom and now my phone is stuck on the CM9 boot loop. I had rooted with CMW through odin followed by superuser. I was on stock ics. I replaced cwm with twrp. No problems up to this point I then downloaded cm9 and the gaaps with goo manager. then tried to flash it after backing up, deleting data, dalvik and cache. It did not work but instead booted back into stock with all my data gone. I added back in my google accounts and wifi password. Then downloaded quick boot. Booted into recovery and installed the CM9 and fgaaps zips.
Now it just cycles in the cynagen bootloop ans will not boot into recovery. In my attempts to get boot recovery started it did once go into download mode. Anyway to recover using odin?
So you are up and running okay ??....g

[Q] My Springboard is bricked. Please help!

Hi all
I tried to root myspringboard so I flashed CWM recovery and installed supersu. Accidentally I performed a "factory reset" and now my tablet is bricked. Although I can get to Fast boot, I cannot access Recovery with Vol +, instead the tablet freezes on the Splash Springboard screen. If I power it off it reboots immediately to the spalsh screen and freezes unless I get into fastboot.
Is there a way out of it? Please HELP!
Did you try reflash recovery to stock or twrp? And if you made full wipe throught CWM you must wait 20 minutes or so on boot screen to boot.

Thanks for the reply. No, I did not wait that long after 5 min or so I rebooted. Then I reflashed with stock, then I reflashed with TWRP, then back to CWM. In all those flashed I never waited for more than 5 min. Panicked :crying: Is there anything else I can try? or this is forever bricked?
--UPDATE: After I reflashed again with CWM I left the spring board for 30 min or so and it rebooted to system--thanks

Every custom ROM I try reboots my phone into Recovery!

No matter which ROM I use, I get the same result. My phone restarts, stays on the logo screen for a few seconds, then reboots again into Recovery. I have HBoot 1.57, and I'm using TWRP Recovery.

what version of TWRP - Try 2.6.3.3 it's the most used and works with a lot of Roms
If you continue to have problems the next step is to Format Data in TWRP / Wipe
Be aware you'll completely wipe your phone and you'll have to push or sideload a rom back onto the phone
Install "TWRP manager" from the Google play store and use that to reinstall or update your TWRP to the latest version.
You may also try using ClockWork Mod Touch instead of TWRP
Go to google dot com and search for CWM HTC M7
Thats what I did because TWRP would always give me an error message when I tried restoring a nandroid backup

GT-I9300 - Kepps booting into TWRP and TWRP is in bootloop too?

Hey I recently flashed Nameless ROM onto my i9300, restarted once, and then my phone kept rebooting into recovery. However, TWRP was crewed up for some reason and would keep restarting as soon as the starting 'Teamwin' picture finished (it would restart the animation / picture). I flashed TWRP again but it still happened (and I couldn't boot normally). My TWRP also had the material play theme on it. I eventually fixed this by flashing CWM and re-flashing the ROM (and gapps).
However, I'd would still like to know why TWRP was crashing.
Thx
I am having the same issue, caused by battery malfunction though.
almost bricked device
Oh okay.

Device does not boot into recovery

My phone recently have gone into a boot loop, so I booted it into recovery and wiped it in order to reflash. But then, when I updated the TWRP recovery to the latest version, the phone stopped bootin into it. Now only the fastboot mode works, and when I try to boot into recovery, it just reboots. I am trying the twrp-3.1.1-0-kenzo on my Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro. How do I make it work?
When u flashed new recovery did you try booting it using key combo before booting to system

Of course. That's when it just flashes the red light indicator and reboots. In fact, there is no "system" to boot into, as I wiped it clean before reflashing the recovery.

Why did you flash a newer version of TWRP, instead of a rom? Reflash the working twrp which was working before you wiped in order to reflash.
Sent from my Redmeme Note 3 with VoLTE disabled.

I don't remember which version it was. I think, it was something 2.x.x, and I can't find anything earlier than 3.0.2 anywhere. 3.0.2-0-kenzo also does not work for me.
bro,Install twrp by this method.

I just switched my phone on, and it booted into TWRP recovery that I installed eralier! But all the storage partitions were showing zero size, so I reformatted them and selected "reboot into recovery" option. But it did not boot into recovery, and now it is stuck on the "MI" logo and the "Volume Up + Power" key combo only makes it reboot, just like before. How do I boot into recovery?
I figured it out. The whole deal was about dead battery which caused the device to fail to boot even the recovery, even when charging. It charged up a bit, and I sucsessfully flashed the phone.
