Hi Folks,
I have an S II GT-I9100G working with an official jelly bean 4.1.2
According to this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1774541, I must install CyanogenMod 10 using ICS bootloader.
For some reason, I can't download an official ICS ROM now. The question is: can I install the CyanogenMod 10 using JB bootloader??

1. Yes, to install a custom rom like cyanogenmod, you need to be rooted and have a custom recovery like CWM.
2. Cyanogenmod (CM) have many ROMs, based on all android versions.
CM7 - GB
CM9 - ICS
CM10 - JB 4.1.2
CM10.1 - JB 4.2.2
CM10.2 - JB 4.3
To upgrade to 4.2.2, flash CM10.1!
3. Instructions on flashing CM and rooting your phone can be got by a simple search of the I9100G forum. Please do so, and ask any questions you may have. Good luck!

Thanks for ur answer but one more question, what do you recommend should i install CM10.1 - JB 4.2.2 or CM10.2 - JB 4.3 for my i9100G
i heared that CM10.1 has some problems with googleapps
does the same issue exist with CM10.2 - JB 4.3

Am sorry, but I'm not allowed to give you ROM recommendations. I suggest you either:
- Try each ROM and see which suits you best
- Check out what other members say about both ROMs in their respective discussion threads

Stock 4.3_r3.1 Rom for SII GT-I9100

Hey I would like to know if there is an untouchend Android 4.3_r3.1 Rom for SII ?
Or if somebody can help me build a fresh AOSP Build without Kernel would be nice.
Lukas
Couldn't find any vanilla r3.1... but the closest thing is the supernexus rom... Mabey he'll update the source soon.

[Q] Help with galaxy s2 running PA

Hi all,
I have a galaxy s2, running 4.3.1 thanks to Paranoid Android. However,I would like to flash a new kernel that is supported by PA 3.99. I tried Dorimanx, but I lost root! I searched for many other kernels that Jelly Bean supports, but all for s3, nexus 4 or other phones. These kernels include Faux and many others...
Could someone help me as to how to keep root when flashing a new kernel and any advice about any kernel? (Note:I tried flashing the super user zip but doesn't help). Oh, and, dream kernel, siyah kernel and googy kernel either not compatible with JB or galaxy s2. Help please.

[Q] Req: Pure AOSP 4.4.4 ROM with no mods like Supernexus

Hi guys I noticed the Supernexus ROMs have stopped. I'm sad about this as I would like to run a full stock version of 4.4.4 on my S3 i9300 but all I see is mods from CM11 and omni rom. Please can someone build a supernexus like 4.4.4 rom to give consumers that choice?
