Question in title. I could do this on my rooted thunderbolt but can't seem to find it on this phone.

Lockscreen shortcuts are the same shortcuts you have on your main launchbar. It's a sense 4.0 thing.
Ahh thank you. I'm using go launcher so I didn't realize that.

WidgetLocker is a great lock screen replacement. You can pretty much put whatever you want on your lock screen... widgets, shortcuts, toggles. I love it.
You can see I have a weather widget, WiFi tether toggle, clock/date/battery display, Google Music widget, voice search shortcut, and the unlock ring has shortcuts for music, camera, and regular unlock.

I was unlocking my phone twice.. First with the one pictured and then my custom widget locker. I have disabled both stock and widget locker and this one still pops up. It briefly flashes the ring lockscreen and turns into an iPhone look alike? Any ideas what the source might be?

Looks like a widget locker screen. Have you uninstalled widget locker yet?

Haven't uninstalled yet but will go ahead and update he results.
Update: It reverted back to stock lock ring. So I'm guessing it was a Widget Locker. Anyone else had one lock screen after another?

Multi Picture Live Wallpaper fixes it too. It is pretty common with Android.
Disable the option Normal/Portrait Wallpaper in Go Launcher Preference. They fixed it from version 2.58. Other launchers are ****e on that issue.
What about other launcher like Touchwiz 4 and 4.5?

yup. I use ADW EX as my launcher since it allows for custom icons. I believe launcher pro does too. I use Simply Text to make the icons.

My one complaint about my phone so far is the default clock. It's annoyingly big with way too much of a scene on it imo. I miss the Sense clock's looks and also the fact that I could easily access both weather and my alarms through it. I wish Samsung had their lockscreen's clock+weather as an option for a widget with this functionality. Does anyone know of a good widget I can get that for this?
Fancywidgets works pretty good.

I use beautiful widgets. It does the things like you said like access alarm, weather, and calender.

I use HD widgets. I think it's like $2 but it gets you back the sense-like clock/weather widget you want. All colors and font are fully customizable. It also gets you back the alarm functionality you wanted.

I ended up going with HD widgets. Thanks.
I have tried everything and I can't seem to be able to get Month or Day of Month to align vertically as shown in the picture below.
Is this even possible? I know it is using the Week Bar, but I'm not so sure about the others. I can't figure out where the option is to make anything else besides the Week Bar go vertical like someone did in the picture below. Is this picture just a fake or what?
Any help at all is greatly appreciated!
Thanks so much!

As far as I remember this widget can be found in the templates of Zooper Widget app.
I don't know if it can be done with UCCW too.
