Video player widget - Galaxy S III Q&A, (US Carriers)

Is this just a glorified shortcut for the video player? It doesn't seem to do anything other than open the stock video player app.

Hmm.. Prime has a good stock video player but

But I can't find the icon.
The stock Music player has an icon.
The stock Video player does not have an icon. Unless I can't find it.
I know I can download some players in the Market but the stock video player is actually good for me. Plays mkv with no issue.
Can u find the stock Video player icon?
I can play the videos by going to File Manager or Gallery.

You can find the video via Gallery or Mizuu app.. and from then, stock video player will handle the rest.
Personally I recommend Mizuu.. it just has nicer organizing feature.
It doesn't have a stock icon for it, per se. Its the gallery video player that is stock. Only way to access it is just to click on video then it'll ask you what method you want to use. Choose stock player if you want. Another way is to press the stock video icon. Stock player OK but you really need to get MX player or Dice Player.

Good video player

Hi!
i'm looking for a good video player for our tattoo, that can play video files smooth.
i've tried MOBO player and BS Player, but the video was not synced with sound.
can you help me?
cumpz!
Hi.
You can try MX Player.
Hello.
How about Act 1 video player. Or Meridian player. Although I use those on my chinese tablet, not on my Click, they are great video players.
Or you can try Seaman player, it's UI is ugly, but it's good player.
Pop Player (Speed-Control Video Player)
I highly recommend the free Pop Player app. I recently made a couple of reviews on it on YouTube.
This new video player allows the user to utilize speed-control. The slow-motion
and speeded-motion are extremely smooth too and audio syncs perfectly with
the video at any speed. It can definitely be useful for athletes and students.
Some people I know even use it to replay their golf swings in slow-motion
in order to improve their form.
This player plays MP4 files that contain H264 and AC codecs.
Check out my review of this app on youtube by searching "Pop Player Free Android App".
I suggest mx player
It has a good forward option, yet the best thing is the subtitle menu if you are watching a movie.

[Q} How can I open a website video in the default video player?

I watch a lot of anime from Nwanime or TV series from Couchtuner
When I open these video webpages on Android I have to nagivate like on a desktop browser (tiny play button and maximise button and seek bar)
On the iphone the video would open in the default video player.
How can I enable my Android device to open these videos with a default video player like mxplayer for example?
*note. Mxplayer is already my dafault player, so if I open an actual video file it plays in mxplayer. My problem is with web video
Thanks

[Q] Media Player

Anyone used the mediaplayer for video successfull? For me the Media Player opens fine but never play a video

How to replace AICP video player with MX Player?

I want to replace the default video player that comes with AICP with MX Player to play everything but not just that, I know I can just select "Always" when it asks me what I what to play a file with.
I'm asking this because I was trying to make a GIF from a video but all apps play the video(s) very laggy. This does not happen with MIUI since the default MIUI video player was able to play those videos.
So, does anyone knows how to replace the stock video player with MX Player? So all apps use MX Player and not the stock one to play the videos by default.
I've already tried freezing/disabling the gallery app but no effect.
Thanks in advance.
