It, like, undulates to the beat, which is cool but I'm sure uses a ton of battery. How do I turn this off?

Um I'm not sure what to say. Try turning down the bass.

It doesn't help either but thanks for trying to help me out

The phone has a horrible loudspeaker. You can't really do much to improve the sounds quality. It just isn't powerful enough.
Damn it I had my cousin's blackberry and played a song from the speaker and I was amazed it had such a sound it was omg I can say! It even beats my computer LOL.

Looks like the phone thinks you have your headphones plugged in. Try rebooting and see if it goes away.
Didn't work... I just reflashed my Rom...

It showed up again how do I fix this

Do you have anything under accessibility in the main settings? Just a guess...but I've seen something like that before.

I don't have anything on. I even reflashed my Rom a few times and cleared data... I'm scared lol

try blowing into the headphone jack :/ thats very weird maybe something has made contact put your headphones in and take them out see if that changes anything
I don't think its the headphone icon. I think its the voice command icon

This is what the icon really is. Headset with microphone. It's not headphones. I would really love the help. Lol this is killing me

Headset icon.. Comes on with my stereo wired headset and stereo bluetooth headset

Download headset toggle as a quick fix and see if that works
Sent from my HTC Amaze 4G using xda premium
Settings>call>turn off hearing aids
And if none of that works get a pair of headphones and keeping plugging it in and out, happened on my old tp2 just keep putting them in and out until it fixed itself.

Am I the only person that has this issue? I when I receive call the volume starts really low then shoots up to max volume. This is annoying. I have looked thru the options to see if I clicked something by accident but can't find anything.
Any help guys?

Thanks bud. I strange that pocket mode doesn't work all that well when not in your pockets.

Hey bro, Go to the phone app of your phone (dialer or contacts) press the menu button and press the "call settings" button. Option should say "Increase volume in pocket" or something around those lines depending on the rom. Just un-check that and done!
thanks elracing

When notifications sound plays, it totally cut the playing music too play itself. Is there a way to change that?
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda app-developers app
Outside of completely muting the notifications, I don't think there is.
Sent from my SGH-I997 using xda app-developers app
But i heard this was fixed in ICS..? That the music wouldn't stop totally.. Does it depend player?
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda app-developers app
..?
Not that I know of. Personally I think this is a useful feature, but if you really want to change it, you could look into custom roms that don't have this feature, but that might be a bit too much work for such a small hiccup. Or choose none for the notification sound, but then you wont be notified EVER really... so sorry bout that
Normally the music should lower so you hear the notification then music volume come back. It's like fade. That is how it is normally.

I have to take notes on my 2 when using the phone. Sure would be nice if the speaker phone would automatically turn on when I pull the stylus to scribble a note. Looked for a setting and searched to try and find a mod that does this. If you know how to do this please let me know. Thx. GA

I'd say if an app could do it it'd be this one:

I use Bluetooth a lot during the day, and especially when I want to take notes during a phone call. Speaker is nice, but not always loud/clear enough to use regularly.

I modded my output volumes so speaker is pretty loud now. No problems hearing. Even with my old ears. Lol

Thanks, I downloaded tasker, but it takes a pretty steep learning curve to use it. Reviewing utube vids to try and figure it out. If you have it down, maybe you can post the steps to have it turn on the speaker when the phone is in use and the stylus is pulled. Thanks.

I just don't know how to set a context involving pen detection. my only problem with Tasker is figuring out how to get it automate features that are particular to this phone such as the s pen and multi Window
