Need program offline a specific time - Windows Mobile Apps and Games

Good morning to all!
I have a phone with windows mobile 6.5 (TG01) and would like an application that allows me to turn off the phone at a preset time. I've tried several, but none works: (
Or, an application that I put the phone in offline mode at specific times.
Thank you!

Hello,
If I've understood you right, you would like to turn off or disconnect your phone according a schedule, wouldn't you?
I think you can achieve it with a profile manager, using the "flight mode", and programming it according to you schedule.
I would recommend you Beemer's PhoneWeaver; but probably there are some others that can perform for you.

Yes, you have understand.
I tried PhoneWeaver but don't work

I've just checked with PhoneWeaver, creating a new profile I've called "Turned off", choosing "phone off" under communications, programming a time for switching off, activating the profile (the big tick green instead the red x) and for me is working ok! I suppose another profile "Turned on" should work same way (you should introduce your pin manually, I guess... lot of options).
At the last list of options to program (Others), there is one for status, and you can choose also off, on or reset...
There is a help in sbsh site (http://wiki.sbsh.net/index.php/PhoneWeaver) It's for the android version, but general working is the same.

Do it yourself using MortScript, ex: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=2132248&postcount=357

Thanks to all. I solved it by installing "ct Scheduler"

Program recommendations

I have the original XDA upgraded to 2003 from one of the kitchens. I just recently noticed that my XDA is turning itself on very frequently, for no apparent reason (I'm sure there is a reason, perhaps some program I have installed, but no idea what). I have made sure that I have the option enabled to disable all the buttons except power when it's turned off (and confirmed that this is the case). Anyone know what would be causing this, or know of a 'screen saver' type program that will shut it off when it comes on like this?
Also, wondering if there is a weather program for the PPC that I could run from the start menu (using MS voice command) that would connect to the internet via GPRS and announce or display the current weather for a giving zip code.
The most common known reason for this is the outlook timed update ... check that the scheduling is set to "Manual"

Time Changing by Itself?!?

So every few days my Titan will default to the Atlantic time zone instead of Eastern time, thus making my time off 1 hour. Very irritating indeed! I've disabled automatic time updates however it's still changing by itself. Any ideas? I'm running DCD 3.2.6.
Maybe.
If you go to phone -> menu -> options -> Services -> time synchronizations -> Get Settings
If the setting is on to synch time to the mobile network, try to turn it off.
Maybe.
Thanks for the response, but from my original post: "I've disabled automatic time updates". That's clearly not the problem, as it's been disabled for quite some time.

Sorry, I'm blind.
When I read that I was thinking you meant the time update in activesync.
Can it be related to activesync?
As far as I know Activesync doesn't change system time automatically or otherwise for that matter?!? If it does please let me know.

Yes it can.
Sync the PDA.
Go to Activesync -> Tools -> Options
Select the PC name you are syncing with. Then select 'settings'. There is a check box for "sync date & time" there.
Actually, it does. I'm in Mexico city and AS will change the time zone for my mogul every time I sync to match the time zone on my PC. That stopped last week though; since we went out of (or is it into??) DST again this Sunday.
Older version of WinMo (i.e. 2003 and 5) made this change permanent, but I keep mine with auto time updates and it reverts back to the proper time when I turn the screen off and on again after the sync is finished.
Also, Outlook needs to be patched for proper sync to occur. Check this Microsoft article to correct the problem.
Let us know if this helped.
are you using garmin mobile xt? there was an issue of this happening, although it was strictly to 8:00 time change it might be something to look at .
Nope, I don't use Garmin XT, nor do I sync with my computer by plugging it in and using ActiveSync with a cable. Ever since I started using an Exchange Server I just sync the data that way. Strange thing is, the date hasn't had a random change in over a week now, while other weeks it would change on a daily basis. Bizarro!

Timer for Settings

Hi there,
I've been trawling through the Android market looking for something that will allow me to change the Settings such as "Internet always on" and "Bluetooth" and "GPS" etc so they can be turned off/on at certain times.
I have found some, but none of them do the GPRS function. Anyone got any ideas?
Only want it as I don't need internet during the night, so can have it turned off then
don't know of any timers, but in the mean time, one of the installed HTC widgets allows you to turn the GPRS on and off manually.
You'll just have to live with it until you find one that does it automatically for you.
when adding the widget, select HTC Widgets, Settings, Data and that allows you to turn it on and off from the homescreens.
Good luck finding what you need though...

[Q] Auto Enable Bluetooth when receiving call

Hi all,
I would find a way to enable bluetooth automatically when a call is being received: in that way, when in my car, I can avoid to keep BT enabled "all the time" just waiting for a possible call of few minutes..... thus saving battery ;-)
Is there any application suited for that?
I was thinking to a workaround but it seems pretty tricky and I still miss a thing.
We could use G-Profile and configure a profile, with BT enabled, which starts automatically on these conditions satisfied:
a.. during a call
b.. when a “specific program/process” is running
Item (b) is needed in order to let the profile be enabled only when actually in car and not when I’m at home or so
Of course, I have to start that “specific program/process” when entering car and shutting it down when exiting.
What I miss is a program to be used for that purpose. I would use a “fake” program which simply does nothing (!!), let’s say a simple toggle-program:
- Click on program icon: starts the program
- Click again on program icon: stop the program
Is there such a “useless” program ? Could some of you write it (if interested in that) ? I’m not so able to write it
Thanks in advance for your support.
I also use G-Profile. I have created a profile that kills the incalllock when mycarprofile is running. incalllock locks the virtual keys on my HD so that I can only take the call with the slide to answer. mycarprofile automatically answers the incoming call and turns on the speaker phone. I use G-Profile to kill incalllock whenever I turn on mycarprofile and runs incalllock again when i trun off mycarprofile.
What you have to do with G-Profile is to create a profile that monitors if a program is running and also add the condition "during a call" to switch to that profile and turns on bluetooth
brusko1972, G-Profile is not free.
Any free apps out there for this kind of function?
You can probably try this.

Dear ai6908, I appreciated your help: it really seems what I need but it's not working....
I have configured the CSDEVCTRL in order to:
- start when ringing or dialing a call
- turn on BT at call start
- turn off BT at call end
I have started the service.
When the call is being received the screen is locked by CSDEVCTRL but BT is not enabled at all.
Maybe I miss someting or it does not support windows mobile 6.5 (I have an HTC HD mini).
Any feedback are welcome !
You can try BTProfiler which I downloaded from xda developers a while back but unable find the thread now.
Not working on HTC hd2 wm 6.5
I downloaded this with high expectations that it would automatically turn my bluetooth off and on. I, too, am frustrated when I forget to turn bt off upon leaving my car. I set the program to run in the background, but the profiler does not work. I've tried all the conditions for turning bluetooth on or off automatically. Too bad, I was really hoping this would work. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I just have a bluetooth icon placed in the programs on the main page. I tap it and it's on when I am in the car. I tap it again and it's off.
Simple, quick and very efficient to use.
Hi all,
And... fisrt of all, happy new year !
In reply to this thread, I've downloaded BTtoggle (which enables and disables BT just by tapping on the screen) and I was just thinking this morning that someone could have maybe written a program (a mortscript ?) which could be quicker than running this program when needed.
I've tested to put BT off and run the progam (BTtoggle) when the phone is ringing then switch on the BT earphone and... call is missed !
I was thinking in a program that could "see" that a BT "thing" (ear, dongle...) (I don't know how to name it) is running, running BTtoggle (which switches ON BT) and when this "thing" is switched off, running BTtoggle once again (which switches OFF BT).
The problem is like brontolo999, I know which are the questions to ask but unable to write the program that could be able to do that !
Thks in advance.

Google either choose simplification or flat out removed the setting. As for why in some sense it makes things simpler for developers and virtually most (not all obviously). Linked two articles out of the multiple google search results below that pertain to the question.
I maybe totally going out on a limb to guess (and I am, not something I am to fond of doing honestly) since GPS/Location services only turns on when it is needed maybe the option was unnecessary?
Granted the choice would be nice, but so far I haven't seen anything in my usage that shows GPS location is a battery killer. In fact I get a lot more active use out of my phone now as it is then I did previously on Oreo, which is rather nice IMHO.

fyi...
The option seems to be there.
On the Pixel phones you can enable it via "developer options" -> "featured flag"
Samsung decided to ditch this feature flag, why i don't know.
But with tasker and my unrooted S9 i could enable the battery saving mode.
Although you can't verify i think it works.
As i use Life360 which triggers the GPS when opened and haven't seen the GPS icon since i toggled to battery saving mode.
So as lomg as it works i'm happy.
Task:
Location Mode - > Mode: battery Saving
