Open the weather app, select menu and settings.....there should be a setting for weather alerts.

This is the text messaging Emergency Alerts, check text message settings.
Text > Emergency Alerts , uncheck the ones you don't want.

I keep getting this random toast notification saying "Network error." I have no idea what triggers it, because I could be looking at galley pics and no sync running, and it pops up. I've updated prl and profile, but it still randomly pops up. Any ideas?

from what i can tell, its when an application at the time is trying to access the NET and at the very moment, you simply dont have a connection to the internet, you could be switching from 4g to 3g or you simply have no network access.
happens to me when i switch from 4 to 3g and an application is trying to get online.

Does anyone know how to check for the Wimax RSA keys on the EVO 3D? The command grep RSA /dev/mtd/mtd0 doesn't work, nor does the wimax key checker app by joeykrim.
I can connect but I can't seem to get any data at all.
Are you in the boston area by chance? There is a 4g outage in the area and it will do exactly that. Connect to 4g but never pull any data down. There is thread in the general section regarding this issue. Best place to go to see the most up to date excuses given by sprint. Lol

Yea, I tested it out on the EVO 3D ..think the app is still sitting on my phone from testing, but never saw anybody lose their keys on the EVO 3D yet.
Also, seems the keys are not easily accessible, as they were on the EVO. I don't think we'll have any problems on the EVO 3D with WiMAX keys.
I usually am on the front lines for issues so I'll keep watching but 7 months so far and no wimax key issues is a good sign I figure!

Hey when i was playing with the evo in the sprint store i turned off the phone(just locked the phone) but i was able to push the camera button to open up camera apk.....i just realized that its not working is it because im rooted now and is not on this rom i really miss that feature?
I'm not rooted and that doesn't work. I think it would suck if that did work your phone would turn on in your pocket?

Agreed, I wouldn't want that. However, when I have my phone on the home screen, logged in and press the camera button it doesn't activate my camera. I have to go to the app to activate it. Any ideas on how to turn the camera on when the phone is on by using the camera button?
Edit: I feel like an idiot. You simply have to hold down the camera button for a few seconds to get it to activate.

I just noticed here in Memphis, that my 4g was up and running...of course I had to test it...nice and fast...driving around town, it only appears downtown and walnut grove 240 area....which is great for me as i work in one and live in the other.
Moved to General where it should be
Still nothing in boro right outside and i went from one to other on my way to work.
