I just noticed here in Memphis, that my 4g was up and running...of course I had to test it...nice and fast...driving around town, it only appears downtown and walnut grove 240 area....which is great for me as i work in one and live in the other.
Moved to General where it should be
Still nothing in boro right outside and i went from one to other on my way to work.

I'm in Central FL, got no data now. Was going from 3g to 1x. Did a couple of reboots to make sure. Anybody else having a problem or has my rezound shat the bed?
I am in Springfield, IL and I am also experiencing issues. I either have no connection or 1x.

Had 4G in Columbus, Ohio at about 7AM. Now it is down and only wants to connect to 1x.

Yeah, strange KC north doesn't have as much. According the KC Star, Sprint will be upgrading that area soon.

Hmm says I should be active but I don't get nuttin, how does one verify things on the phone are set to use LTE???
I can't recall if I changed it or not a while back?

Under mobile network in settings, make sure you have it set to cdma AND LTE. that is all you need to do I believe. Then when your phone can find the signal it'll display 4g in the top bar.

It's says "CDMA - eHRPD" which I guess is the same? How do you change it if that is wrong?
Man that map shows Lewisville covered all around with LTE! My upgrade needs to hurry.
You were under About phone-network. Look right under bluetooth in the wireless settings group at top. You should see Mobile Network. Under there you will see cdma/LTE option.

Considering that Kansas City is Sprint's headquarters, I find it pretty pathetic that their entire metropolitan area isn't completely covered. They should take care of their home market first IMO.

Just thought I would share but I did get LTE here in Schaumburg and the first run was not disappointing at all... I only had time to run it once since I was driving through... I lost the connection when I reached Elgin.

The same reason computer hardware and software gets tested before release. Having a buggy/unstable 4G connection is no good.

To answer your question within the next 6-8 months. They are working from the outside in. First the suburbs and then the city.

They arent testing! Its live! You might have to restart y our phone and make sure you have it set for LTE/CMDA otherwise it wont pick up.

yes i live neaqr wilmington. i live in bear. why would sprint make a LTE phone and dont have LTE everywhere.
you may see it in the actual city of Wilmington but I doubt youll ever get it in Bear De, maybe in Newark as well since UD is there. My rinky dink little town of Oxford Pa will never see lte and Ive come to grips with that
