Just thought I would share but I did get LTE here in Schaumburg and the first run was not disappointing at all... I only had time to run it once since I was driving through... I lost the connection when I reached Elgin.

Where in Schaumburg? Was at the 90/290 split at 5, nada. However, was on 80 last week, had LTE about 10 miles west of Joliet.

Still no LTE up here in the gurnee area but when I drove down to Skokie I noticed they had EHRPD every where.

Just got back from the same gym and I didn't get any LTE this time... I don't know if it was them testing or how I received LTE yesterday but I did get 11mbs downloads and 7 upload yesterday... I was stuck on 3g the while time today...

The same reason computer hardware and software gets tested before release. Having a buggy/unstable 4G connection is no good.
Actually seeing ePHRD all over Zion and Waukegan in my house as of this morning

I was at the gym again and when I was leaving I stopped at the parking lot to test out the 4G a few times... It was not as good as the first run but not too bad considering 3g is so slow...

To answer your question within the next 6-8 months. They are working from the outside in. First the suburbs and then the city.

They arent testing! Its live! You might have to restart y our phone and make sure you have it set for LTE/CMDA otherwise it wont pick up.

yes i live neaqr wilmington. i live in bear. why would sprint make a LTE phone and dont have LTE everywhere.
you may see it in the actual city of Wilmington but I doubt youll ever get it in Bear De, maybe in Newark as well since UD is there. My rinky dink little town of Oxford Pa will never see lte and Ive come to grips with that

Those are some fast 3g speeds. I get 1.8 at best. With that said this thread will be locked shortly, I've seen another thread like this get locked.

Yeah I consistantly get 2-3 mb down where I live, maybe its to substitute for the fact we never got 4g wimax and who knows if well ever get lte!!

So I'm at the USC game and this pops up on my phone...and my friend right next to me, who is also on Sprint but has the Galaxy, got the 4G signal too! But it was gone within 15 minutes.

Yeah you might want to visit the s4gru forums for lte updates or download the sensorly app to see where 4G LTE has been spotted.

I just noticed here in Memphis, that my 4g was up and running...of course I had to test it...nice and fast...driving around town, it only appears downtown and walnut grove 240 area....which is great for me as i work in one and live in the other.
Moved to General where it should be
Still nothing in boro right outside and i went from one to other on my way to work.
