[Q] Gintonic V2.1 and HW keyboard

Hi all,
I'm a new French noob who did install the latest Gintonic + zombie panic kernel.
With the version 1.6 I was able to change the Keyboard to AZERTY.
With the latest I have a problem :
I can change the HW keyboard layout with rom manager or keyboard switcher (from slade), the keyboard config file is correctly set but each time I press A I have a Q.
I did switch from querty to azerty several times but still same problem.
Please note that I've installed the zombie kernel after having installed the ROM.
Many thnaks in advance for your answers,
AndromacK.
Hi french mate
i got the problem too, it's caused by the Android Keyboard, remove it with titanium backup or just disable it in keyboard settings, then you can change the hw keyboard with rom manager
if i helped you give thumbs up !
I'll try later and let you know,
Merci beaucoup
Perfect, it works.
Thanks again.
You're welc
The problem is that when you turn on another keyboard than the default one, the default one is turned off, so you cannot get accents and symbols, and sometimes you have QWERTY instead of AZERTY for example

[Q]SG2 keyboard native layout (danish)

Hi all
I just flashed my ROM with Resurrection Remix ics v1.1 PRO[XXLPE]4.0.3[Full-Wipe]
Going from V1.0 to the updated version 1.1
It seems my options for keyboard layout availability has gone down to only 3 available options instead of many more from V1.0.
I am really fond of the samsung galaxy s2 native layout (danish) and I want it back but I cant find any solutions for it?
Help is absolutely appreciated and crucial!

[Q]How to Add International Languages for Stock ICS IME

Dear All;
I wondered if I will find answers for my question,
I had MIUI 2.9.21_4.0 for HTC Desire HD, OK the ROM support Arabic very well, and I install Parfield keyboard for Arabic input and it's OK.
but there is any way to add Arabic keyboard for the stock IME, i.e. when I go through Settings -> Languages & Keyboards -> Touch Input -> International Keyboards, nothing except English, there is any way to extract some files from HTC One X or HTC XL Arabic Stock Roms and add to MIUI ROM?

The only way to get more languages is to use a custom ROM. I believe only El-Diablo and Hive support Arabic.
Support for right-to-left language layout wasn't officially supported until Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean).
Thank you I'll download and try those custom roms
still one question
the jetstream was locked to a network and onlocked before I got it do I have to reunlock the network after installing the custom rom

Custom ROMs do not break carrier (or network) unlocks. Nor do they fail to install if you have carrier unlocked your device.
There are video guides in the Android Development section for the Jetstream if you need help installing a custom ROM.
