If you're rooted it's in system/media/audio/ui/PowerOn.ogg
There's a method of getting rid of it in the toolkit too but it's easier to install ES File Explorer and remove it yourself.

the simplest way is unlock bootloader and flash custom kernel...
I can't unlock my bootloader ...

Follow the thread we link, it's easy
I can't because in France when someone buy a phone in a operator, the operator block the bootloader and I would not use wotan server.

Trust me if there is any easier way it is already have been posted. It is either root your device using that method for locked bootloader or forget about it. Get over this topic and stop spamming this thread.

My Galaxy S3 stock on boot logo

I can only use download mode but if I flash with Odin it says that "no pit file found". What should I do?
If your phone is softbricked you need to use a PIT-File (either here on XDA or from samfirmware.com) for Odin to correctly revive the device.

You do not need to start your phone to go in recovery: just hit volume up+home+power and it should start in recovery

do not know exactly how you already tried but:
-stock firmware file as PDA
-pit file as PIT
-"repartition" checked in odin
Use the pit file with the latest date in his name

[Q] How to know which lib is related to an app?

Hi,
I'm trying to port an app made for an other phone.
How to know which files in lib folder I must use?
Is there a place in the apk where the shared libs are mentioned?
Or inside de .so?
Thanks for your help

You are talking about native libraries now? There's a GNU utility "readelf" dumping various interesting information related to an ELF binary such as used libraries.
I'm talking about the files with .so extensions who are in system\lib

Yes, dynamically linked native libraries, that is. Use the readelf utility.

You'll find it in elfutils, part of just about every GNU/Linux distribution.

Targeting GNU/Linux, not using GNU/Linux, is just plain stupid. Like repairing your Chrysler using all the special tools from Toyota. :silly:

Mobile Odin has some limitations compared to Odin as it runs inside android. It can only access partitions that are visible from android, and bootloader is not one of those.
That's why you must use Odin.
Thank you very much for your answer ...

This on the other hand means if i flash a Stock-FW (for example XXEMC2) with Mobile Odin but have an older bootloader (from XXDLIH FW): I will have the new Kernel etc. (with SD-Fix) but remain on my good old bootloader???
yes. there's no official confirmation whether or not the bootloader or kernel contains the fix
