Voodoo Audio - Galaxy S III Q&A, (US Carriers)

Are there any kernels yet that will give us Voodoo audio or anything superior to the stock audio sound?

I don't think there is anything out yet for the us models. I think the best we can hope for is Voodoo Louder (as the us versions don't have the wolfson) but that might be a while. If you do a google search for Supercurio you can find his twitter. He talks about what he is working on there.
You could also check out this thread - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1740993. Might help some.
Also there is always Volume+ if that helps any.

Thanks mrb1946, you have been thanked and saved me from asking the same question...

Does this MIUI player work on your 2.2.1 rom?

This is the MIUI music player, i want someone on any 2.2.1 rom to check it out, i've been having some phone call issues with MIUI and am planning on switching it, but i love the MIUI music app so i want someone to try it out.
It'll be attached with this post.
please list the ROM your using.
I am running bi winning and the player runs just fine. Im am actually considering jumping up to MIUI. Tell me ur opinion. What call issues did you have. I tried cm7 for a month so im assuming it has the same issues.

I'm planning on switching to CM7 or some other 2.2.1
i make tons of phone calls.

I tried cm7 and it was the exact same for me with the call issue. That and random reboots is why I went to bi winning. What about the latest gingerbread rom RC2 by explodingboy? Heard anything good about that one. I wonder if the call quality is better...

I always used Miui as my stock music player when I was putting out Loki. It works with both 2.2 and 2.2.1. I didnt test the one you posted here, but the app works. If yours doesn't, you can either grab the one from Loki (if you still have it the rom) or I can post the app for you if you need it.

Thank you for this, this will hopefully help me let go of the Yamaha DAC and voodoo sound on my Infuse
Is this simply an audio output tweak that works with all music players?
Do you know if it's compatible with equalizer?
Thanks again

Voodoo sound

Is there a way to get voodoo sound on the new jelly beans 19 rom or does anyone know of a way to increase volume alittle??
Sent from my SCH-I605 using xda premium
Yes get a kernel that supports it such as faux kernel just search kernels and if they support voodoo the go to the market and download the voodoo app if your kernel doesn't say it's supported the app will do nothing

You can't get the app from the market as it's not compatible with our device.

Mine is the same way. I *believe* mine installed when I installed Sabre, or maybe when I first installed beans. I don't use it, so I really didn't pay attention. But it does show as incompatible from the store.

Saber Kernel supports Voodoo Sound.
PBJ kernel supports Boeffla Sound a good alternative to Voodoo.
I've used both combos on the N2.
Both are available in the Store
Viper4 sound can be used on the N2 - it should work on any kernel. Search on Viper4 and you will find the thread.
If you are serious about audio on the N2 Viper is the way to go.

While best is a subjective term I would recommend taking a look at Pure Audio Engine http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2293589 and ACID Audio Engine http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1923630.
