I need a splash like green HTC on black and a bootanimation like HTC quietly brilliant on black.
I found 480*800 like the attach,but not found 320*480
Just resize the images with something like paint.net

Do you want the bootanimation to be the HTC Quietly Brilliant image with no moving animation? If so, I can do it pretty quickly and PM it to you. Or do you want it to be an an image with moving animation? If this is the case, do you already have the bootanimation and simply need it resized? PM me the bootanimation.zip if this is the case and I can resize it for you and make it flashable.

thx!
Download the resized bootanimation here. You can download the resized splash image here.
Follow the instructions on this page to see how to install the bootanimation on your phone. I did not make it a flashable zip because I am learning how to use SignApk as we speak.
Follow the instructions on this page to see how to install the splash image. Personally, I used the fastboot method, but you have to make sure the fastboot.exe is in the platform-tools directory of your SDK for it to work.
Awesome! I was just about to post a request for these two things, then I saw this. Thanks guys!

Black HTC splash screen.
Make sure to change this image to a 24bit BMP. I just use paint that comes with windows.
Android Flasher makes changing them a snap.
Can someone make a LIBEIMG.zip with the splash in it? I don't have a computer that can do that so my phone IS my computer. Could someone please make a zip for me?

Here ya go. Hardest part about the whole process was finding a program that would properly save the image in the .rgb565 format. Gimp seemed to flip and slide the image to the right when it was all said and done.
place the LIBEIMG in the root of your sd.... reboot into bootloader.... press volume up once loaded.... after update is complete hit power button .... profits better than expected

Hi everyone,
I made another 3D bootanimation, using the tutorial of binux-project & argraben. If you haven't done so, please install their original 3D bootanimation first to patch the binaries.
After that, download all attached rar parts and extract to bootanimation.zip, which you can place in the correct folder using root explorer or adb push.

Download all 8 rars to the same folder. Extract the first part using WinRAR, it will automatically find and extract the other parts. You'll get a new (and only one) bootanimation.zip.
Wouldn't it be easier to make the bootanimation.zip file and put that in the op instead of everyone having to extract 8 diff parts. Just my opinion.
Edit>> I use mac so I don't know if it will work the same way as winrar. I have windows on my Mac also but don't want to change OS's just for a boot animation.

Yes, it's big indeed. I guess I didn't have any problems because I've got another rom and I removed some system apps
Whoa, dude not bad at all. when Wheatly hits the tunnel though the 3D separation begins to ghost a little where you see a faint red ghosting effect, after a second though it seems to fade back to where it should be, I'm guessing that is some artifacting due to the conversion of 2d-3d or something.
Aside from that, nice job!

Old news
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1831711
I posted this last year
Regardless, thanks for bringing it to my attention. Seems like a very useful tool for anyone on this forum.
Credit for instructions goes to jonno95, without him I wouldnt have become inspired enough to make this!
Instructions:
1. On your phone using a root explorer navigate to /system/customize/resource and rename the original downanimation.zip (just in case you want to easily go back to it)
2. Copy the new downanimation.zip to your phone then using root explorer copy it to /system/customize/resource and make sure the permissions are like the original. rw r-- r-- I believe.
(alternate step 2) (pointed out by stillthisguy) If you have ViperDNA by nit then you can go into Venom Tweaks>Advanced>Custom downanimation. It will find all of your .zip files and you just choose the one you want to use.
The first request is done and attached. (be sure and rename to downanimation.zip or hTC_downanimation.zip, et cetera)
Goodies:
link to gif preview:
link to downanimation.zip files

RED Pyre

Quote from this thread about enhancing shutdown animation's framerate:
Find /system/customize/CID/default.xml and edit it with es file manager, near the bottom you'll see:
<ShutdownAnimation image_png="/system/customize/resource/hTC_downanimation.zip" image="" fps="30" />
Now you just change the number next to the fps to whatever frame rate per second you want, and you can designate what zip name it uses, mine is hTC_downanimation.zip.
Exit, Saving changes, and hold-click or w/e to open the options submenu over the file default.xml, and change its permissions to rw r-- r--
Profit!
I take requests. I have a version where the HTC logo fades in to picture too if someone wants that as well.
That's super cool! thanks!
Very nice!
Looks sweet!

Re: [ANIMATION] HTC quietly brilliant Green Pyre edition downanimation.zip and gif
Cathode Ray Tube. It's an animation that supposed to look like an old TV. Most Motorola Droids have it when you turn off the screen. I miss it, it's too bad we can't hack framework-res.apk on sense to get that effect.

From the thunderbolt days. Someone modified it for the rez also. Basically it looks like a crt screen of white noise or snow and fades in to a white dot in the center of the screen and goes black full screen. Like the old cathode ray tube television and monitors used to when you turned them off. (Showing my age a little here). Lol.
Someone even modified it for screen off transition for the tbolt on some roms from another site.

I can't get this to work for some reason. Ive put the file in system/customize/resource and fixed permissions to rw,r,r and its just black. I've renamed the original to .bak and I've even moved it to the sd card so the custom one is the only one in the resource folder. Ive put the original one back and it works fine just can't get the custom one to work

I had to rename mine to hTC_downanimation.zip and then give it rw r-- r-- permissions.
I used ES File explorer or w/e its called, and it seems buggy. In order for it to just copy the new animation, I had to enable root access and mount system as writable as well, and then create a new folder in the resources folder, when I went to copy it, I went to copy it inside the new folder, and it would copy it then into the system directory, took a lil bit.
