Hi,
I'm trying to use MMS on my XDA II... Everything seems to be OK to send MMS-messages (my recepient receives my MMS-messages without problems).
When I receive MMS-messages from someone, I could not download them! I re-entered my settings a few times without success! Then I contacted my mobile network provider to see what's happening!
I only receive the header of the MMS-messages, but I could not download that messages!
What I noticed is that I'm using version 1.5.0.7 of the ArcSoft MMS Composer. Do I need an upgrade to receive MMS-messages or what?
I know there is a newer version (1.6.0.9), but I don't know if this will solve my problem.
I took a look at the website of ArcSoft, but could not find any upgrades or patches.
Anyone has a suggestion what to do or had the same problems?
FYI: Every 2 hours I got a notification that I have a new message, but this always the same message...
Thanks,
Sam
A collegue of mine has a similar problem, he can send ok, but does not receive any MMS. His XDA2 when configured for another Telco Provider has no problems. Will revert if I find a solution. Apparently not all Telcos have the same infrastructure setup.
talked to the telco provider, they believe it is their SIM card. Are sending me a new one.

How do everyone...
I've got a pink Hero from mobiles.co.uk for my girlfriend (really it is for my girlfriend) and I'm having the strangest issue with MMS on it.
If I send a message to myself, it sends it fine and receives it fine.
If I send it to another phone, it sends fine and the person receives it fine.
However, If I get one sent to my phone from another phone, it wont receive it.
I just can't understand why, is there anyone here who can actually receive MMS messages from someone else who is on Vodafone?
I haven't bothered posting my APN settings just in case its a known issue but I will do if some people can send messages. I'm on Modaco 2.6 too.
Cheers
Nobody on Vodafone here and tried to send an MMS?

Hi everyone I have one problem with messaging on Nokia lumia 800
I cant send and receive pictures over sms. It shows me cant send message tray again and it cant send again or get media content now.
What should change my settings?
I will be pleased if anyone can help me
I had same problem on Lumia 710.
1. Seettings
2.mobile network - Data connection =on
or go to apps and run Network Setup. I just learned that one when I was switching sim cards around.
I picked up a Rogers 920 tonight and incoming calls only displayed a number.
I recall an issue with the 710 and the solution was to call Rogers and disable incoming name display.
I did this and now all I get is "Unknown" when someone calls.
All I can think of now is that it may take some time to propogate over the network.
Any guidance???
