Okay, so I know this is a serious noobie question but I haven't been able to find the answer. I'm trying to install a theme. I'm running the Axura 2.2.9.0 ROM on my Vibrant.
Depends on how the theme has been packaged:
- If it's CWM flashable, then you put the zip on your sd card, boot into Clockwork, then flash it like you do anything else.
- If it's a morph, then you use an app called MetaMorph from the market. There's threads on here on how to use it.
The creator of the theme will tell you which way it is to be applied. Most are going to be CWM flashable, since it's the more user-friendly method.
I believe that the axura themes are flashable and they just get put on the sdcard and flashed over like the roms.
-download the theme you want
-move it from your download file to your INTERNAL sd card, thats the one that has like 12g of memory in it
-reboot into recovery, (not sure how axura works but if you dont have a recovery option after holding down the power button then hold down the volume up, down and the power keys at the same time, wait for the "vibrant" to flash at you then let go)
-select the option install zip from sd card
-select choose zip from sd card
-select the zip file you just downloaded
-scroll down to yes-install zip
-after it is done installing go to the last option - "[back]"
-select reboot system
-enjoy your new theme
this is all assuming you have clockwork recovery (the red recovery screen)

Cool, I got it working. Thanks for all of your help everyone.
Here is a Zip Themer mod that will blacken out almost all (not all) of your menu listings on the rom. This is not a flashable zip by itself, you have to run through Zip Themer and then install the update.zip that it produces in CWM, make sure you tell Zip Themer to make an undo zip at the end, if you do not, your stuck with it. If you dont like it just run the undo zip in CWM, enjoy!

You can flash this zip over any ROM, it will launch Aroma Installer and will allow you to install many tweaks and mods to speed up your ROM and add more functionality. YOU CHOOSE THE TWEAKS/MODS YOU WANT INSTALLS THROUGH A TOUCH SCREEN INTERFACE KNOWN AS AROMA INSTALLER.
Try this on *ANY ROM* for a great increase in speed. Make sure to download the correct version. (READ THE THREAD)

- Open the zip of the rom you are running (the .zip file that you flash in recovery)
- Inside this zip, navigate to : META-INF/com/google/android

- Open Pimp my Rom's zip (i.e : PIMP_MY_ROM-v1.4.1-Universal.zip)
- Inside this zip, navigate to : META-INF/com/google/android and delete "updater-binary-installer"
- Now copy the "update-binary-installer" file you extracted from your rom to Pimp My Rom's zip (still in META-INF/com/google/android)
- Close the zip and flash it, the installation process should now work normally so you can Pimp your Rom !"

Is this working well for you on the TP?

Guys, sadly this doesn't work on the TP I tried it some time back but the TP reboots to moboot shortly after the installation begins.
It's a shame as this gives great improvements in multiple areas (I flashed it on my SGS 2 and it made wonders)
Edit: As of v2.0 it works on he TP, I highly recommend it.

I just DL DPI Changer from the market and it says my current setting is MDPI (160).
I hope this helps.
Now here i provide some Flashble.zip Applicatins and games,Flashble zip is easy to install in recovery n in some ROMs there is no file Manager(AOKP) so may be it is useful for some users.
for now only i provide only 4 Apps in flashble zip format.
1.Go BACKUP
2.File Manager.
3.CWM
4.Adobe flash player

Instructions:-
^ Download any put in SD card.
^ Switch to recovery.
^ Flash the .zip
^Done.
