Read much? ????? It is tracking files that monitors your phone and what you do and sends the info to the carrier. No, you are not supposed to have it on your phone.

Any Verizon phone *shouldn't* have it.

Unlock

Here is a silly question. If you root your gnote does that also unlock your phone.

Rooting is unlocking access to the root of the system/os. Unlocking means unlocking the network lock.

So trying the AT&T SG3...couple questions

Yeah so I just bought the att version today at my local store. I have the international version as well. I'm trying them both out an see which I like. I know it'll be a while for roms. But is the bootloader unlocked on the att? If not Do I use the same root method I did with my I9300? Sorry I'm so confused now where to look now for this stuff since they combined the threads

Bootloader on verizon galaxy s4

Does the verizon galaxy s4 have to have a unlocked bootloader to flash roms???

Considering that the i545 bootloader has not yet been unlocked and that there are custom roms available, a safe answer would be no.

Why do you want to root your phone so much? Something doesn't work or why?

Well... You're in Chicago, so I can't do it -for- you... But if you have skype, I'd be more then happy to walk you through the process. Drop me a line?
