It is probably due to limited space that the Flyer does not have a slot to insert the pen. They will probably give you a case with the device to hold the pen. However, this would make it a little too bulky to put the device inside a jacket pocket.
So I guess that it would not take long before you misplaced the pen.
If you lose it, you shouldn't own it
I'm sure there will be a case with the flyer which will have a slot for the pen, or the pen will at least have a clip on it.
I would lose it in a month because my kids would do something silly with like let it fall in the couch. My kids like to play with my Android devices and I love them so I can't deny them lol.

So I am correct in saying that the stylus is not going to slot into the Flyer like say the Touch Diamond? If not that is really big design flaw from HTC. The Diamond has (from what I have seen) the best way to store the stylus via magnets and into the body. Hope they are not expensive, can see myself losing it in and around the house and at work...
You would think they would make a case for it so you have a slot to hold the pen when your not using it

Don't know, unfortunately. The HTC guy just said something along the lines of
"like those cases over there"
...but they never actually went 'over there' during the interview
One of the official folio cases has an external pocket for the pen. Personally I would prefer an internal pen loop.

Got my flyer today. Inside the package I've found a white leather pouch case with magnetic flap on top and an external pocket(ring of leather) for pen housing.
Hi all I've tried googling but can't seem to find a case with everything I need for work purposes. And all of the cases reviews here don't seem to have what I'm looking for. I'd really like to find a case that has the following:
Ultra slim and light as possible of course
Pocket inside to hold paperwork etc.
Stylus holder/or magenta that will work with adonit hit pro I just order
Looks professional
Latch, magnet or velcro closure
Not worried about viewing angles but would be nice
Able to dock would without removing
The only thing I've found that's close is the roo case with the dock attachment however it seems way too bulky
Please don't flame I've been looking for weeks and you guys at xda never cease to amaze me
Thank you in advance for any help!

I've been looking for a case with a Bluetooth keyboard for my note but I can't find it.....
Has anyone seen any case like this one???

I had that exact keyboard attachment for my iphone and in all honesty, it was terrible...
maybe its just me, but those little keyboards with non-standard key layouts are a pain, and you end up typing faster with the touch screen.
if you are really looking for a true Keyboard, that you can actually get some work done on, I highly suggest the Logitech Tablet Keyboard for Android, I cannot say enough good thinks about it.
its extremely sturdy, very comfortable and easy to type on, never has a problem connecting immediately, just an all around solid keyboard. The carrying case also doubles as a stand for your phone, with multiple viewing angles.

I see where your coming from.. I was a crackberry user for about a year, and yes, their keyboards are phenomenal. If you could find a bluetooth one that had the same key style and setup as the blackberries, id be all for it.
Im just not a big fan of the mini keyboards.. they are just laid out weirdly and dont feel comfortable to me. who knows, maybe its just me.
Give that one a shot and let us know how it is

i can navigate through the whole phone using it!!
what i do is usueally put my phone in my landscape holder..and just use this keypad to change songs, reply to texts do basically everything.
in school vis google docs i type up essays..in the car i change the song without even having to look ath the phone.
its small enough to carry around..big enough to use everyday
and i suppose you could easilly cut off the bottom with a razor if you absolutely have no use for it (ps3 controller)

While I like the style of the case I can't help but wonder how useful the keyboard will really be. The case isn't rigid so using it to thumb type with the phone flipped open won't be possible and it's too small to use as a traditional keyboard while sitting flat on a desk.
I'm definitely looking forward to a full review.
Edit:
For those interested I found the same case on Amazon for slightly less, free shipping:

What do you guys think about this laser keyboard ?????
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using xda premium
I own the version of that Logitech keyboard for tablets that was made for the iPad and it works great with the Note. I use it just a little since I do mostly pen input but wrote a blog post yesterday using the keyboard. There is a version made for Android but I'm not sure what's different. Likely just the shortcut keys.

I've always wanted to give one a try but the price just isn't right for me. I imagine the learning curve on accuracy is a little steep at first but if it works well I could see never wanting to go back to a physical keyboard.

The accuracy is not the hard part. the hard part to get used to is no tactile feed back. That, and not typing so hard that you bruise your finger tips The other issue with those keyboards is compatibility.
Looks like it's a dud, check the review...

Anyone have a clue which pad that is? I was thinking of getting a little bluetooth keyboard like that just to use as an emulator controller.

Assuming this is the one he's talking about I'd be making an unhealthy (probably destructive) level of modifications before carrying it around. Given the button style it probably works really damn well though.

I want and ordered the palm stuff, i'de like to add the rite terminals to the mb. Anyone no where to get them? Im gona order a rear frame with the cuttouts if this can be done. I know about thw copper foil and wrapping it around the frame bu wana make the phone look completely stock and if/when a real cover becomes available I could just swap out the battery cover. Thanks guys.

What's up guys, some people have been asking for Otterbox reviews so I thought I'd put up a couple pictures of my Commuter I got last week. It's the best case I've had for my Note so far and with the tempered screen protector the protection can't be beat in my opinion. The S-pen cutout is great and makes for easy removal. All ports are accounted for including IR and all microphones. The fit in my opinion is great and doesn't add much bulk for the level of protection you get.
I am very happy with my purchase but if I had to list some cons, I'd say:
- weird back texture makes hand sweaty. Really weird
- not the most stylish case out there
- expensive ~44.99
Thanks for reading I look forward to your feedback and questions

Yup, I see you're using XDA Premium as well. *This is off-topic to your thread, so I'll go ahead and apologize for that before I even begin.* For some reason it only allows one pic per post....and that's WHEN it's letting you post pics at all! When trying to attach pics, I constantly get the error that I'm not logged in, or that I don't have permission. It's VERY frustrating! Both XDA Premium, and XDA Premium HD have been doing this for at least 3-4 months now. I bought both a while back, so I've tried with both apps on multiple devices(phones and tablets). I really wish the devs would fix this issue. I've already reported it to them multiple times, but I think more people need to complain to get the devs to look in to it or actually do anything about it.

I've just received an Otterbox Commuter and I like it a lot. One question though - are the flaps for the charging and headphone ports supposed to sit slightly proud of the case? It makes sense I suppose, otherwise they'd be rather difficult to open but it does look a bit odd.
