Control music through voice? - Galaxy S III Q&A, (US Carriers)

Hello i just saw the commercial of the samsung galaxy s3 and i noticed near at the end the guy says play music through S VOICE and then as the phone is on the table he says "next song" and the next song starts to play without opening the S voice by double tap.How can i do this i tried it,but only the play music function worked!
If i dont open manually the s voice nothing works.

[APP] Speaktoit Assistant

Hi everyone.
I was browsing the market when I came across this Amazing app, it is a speak assistant app, like Siri in iPhone 4s.
try it, you won't regret it.
Link to Market (totally FREE):

Didn't test it out yet but I really wish they change that voice, hated it with google navigation and now it came back to haunt me with this .....

yeah, It can't recognize my name !!!, or the word "Share" it shows "****" instead.
I think Vlingo is a bit better in terms of recognizing your voice

Does anyone know a good voice command app. I hate vlingo it sucks. I really liked the voicedealer program in my old captivated. I found the voicedialer.apk but it will not work with my sg2. Thanks for any help.

Vlingo may not always get it right but its the best I've come across. I'll be following this thread to see if something better is suggested.

For some reason Vlingo decided not to listen over bluetooth on Unnamed 1.3.2.
It launches but won't listen...

Finally! Something that works over bluetooth. It's a bit wonky (i.e. clumsy UI) but once you get it configured, it gets the job done. Stupid Vlingo.
Might want to check out Skyvi. I haven't messed with it much, but it looks like it's got pretty good voice command potential.

OK success!
First used "AnTek App Manager" to freeze Valingo from constantly starting up.
Installed "Choice Dialer + free"
My voice dialing works great. Starts up at a push of my BT button. Its starts up quickly and every time. unlike valingo.
The voice recognitions are as good or better than vlingo.
Thanks for everyones help.
BY BY VLINGO!
Unbelievable that Google no longer has a native Voice Command. How could Google build ICS without such a necessity.
Or are their VCs on some other ICS ROMs? I love Mystic's Glory, but I need BT voice command!
Speaktoit works well as a personal assistant. For voice dialing the best comprehension I've gotten is from vlingo labs beta. Which is basically a wip svoice

I think the S-voice port from the S3 will work wonders. I've had it for a while and I'm impressed by what it can do.

Choice Dialer has many recommendations, but it seems to have stopped with ICS. Any word on a JB version?

Google Now voice not working

I updated to JB and love the Google Bow feature. Today I can't get the voice to work.
For example, when I ask for the score of a football game, it will being up the card, but will no no longer speak the score to me.
Is there a setting somewhere that can turn this on or off? Any help is appreciated
Thank you.

Several users have reported similar issues with Google now after installing a custom jelly bean rom. What rom are you running? The simple fix is to uninstall the current Google now using Titanium Backup or root explorer and then download Google now from the play store.
If this helps you please hit the thanks button

I figured out the problem. The media volume was turned all the way down. I had to go to YouTube and play a video, then turn up the media volume. I then went back to Google Now and the voice returned

Yes CM10 works fine, which is android 4.1, but my question was for android 4.2
That's what I implied. According to then it should work fit android 4.x is this the only app you can't load?

well it says "your device is incompatible" on the google play store, and i thought it couldnt be true, since 99% of the apps available for 4.1 should, theoretically, work for android 4.2... so i thought it just has to do with the ROM :/
Go to settings > apps > all tab > "Google Play Store" then clear press the " Clear Data" button.
Open the play store sign back in and tell me what happens. I could be wrong.
