There is no setting. You need to revert this and recompile.

You can blame your stupid question. Yeah, start with installing Linux is absolutely correct. In case you have already Linux installed and still do not know how to compile a kernel, then state so next time. If you have another problem, such as with git clone or whatever, state so again. If you have problems with applying a reverse patch, state so.
Do not ask "how does one compile a kernel". Go fscking Google it is the only answer you deserve in that case.

Do not ask stupid questions and you will get better answers. Ktnxbye. Questions like "How do I compile kernel" go to Google, noone will repeat what has been written zillion times especially for you, you really are not special, mom's lied to you. Live with that.

Didn't fserve say enabling vsync would *save* battery instead? Since it practically caps the phone's performance.

apparently you guys have NO IDEA what vsync is and its relation to screen refresh rate and ACTUAL FPS.
I must say Thank you to the developers who are nice and there to help and answer questions (i have talked to both franco and fserve and they are VERY helpful) unlike you guys who just say to google everything... So rather than explain VSYNC and artifacts such as TEARING to you assholes, i say... go ****ing google those terms and come back when you know what the **** your talking about.

Sad thing is, now we have gingerbread and basically everything final, lots of developers are leaving us, the X10 is OLD...
We would just have to wait---
i am also waiting for multi touch!

Well firstly no one knows for sure if it can do multi touch...
If theoretically we did, the drivers would probably take years to write from scratch.

I think they can rewrite existing drivers (from neo, arc etc), but it's still hard.. so, will see if yes or not

yes, those phones have completely different HW but I think that MT drivers will be a LITTLE bit similar, so they can use something from that drivers and adjust it for our HW

Obviously not, or you'd know how wrong what you're saying is
The X10 will never have multitouch. Every thing that touches our screen is given an x- and y-coordinate, and our screen is just capable of combining one x and one y. The dualtouch hack can be used because we don't mind if one x- coordinate is used in combination with the wrong y; we don' t need that for movements like pinch zoom. Try twisting south to north with two fingers in google maps and you'll know what I mean; when your fingers cross each other at a horizontal or vertical axis, your rotation movement will be inverted

Me and Z believe that this is due to the drivers in the MT chip.

yes, I approximately know how dualtouch works.. but MT is not impossible with right drivers that someone has to do.. and I believe that our HW can support MT

The cpu's are both very close with maybe a slight edge to the Nexus. Hard to say how much of an impact ICS plays though. In terms of the GPU, the mali-400 is quite a bit better than the PowerVR used by the Gnex.

Regardless, I'm sure Google's firmware (most likely with YAFFS2 filesystem) will be a lot more smooth/crisp compared to anything Samsung usually offers...
Mod edit: foul or abusive language not to be used on XDA read the rules as XDA is used by many minors... infractions will be placed.
Read your pm take head and don't ever take the stance of editing a mod post the above is rules if you can't follow feel free to not use XDA as you'll head that way anyway!
Check device database for specs of both devices. "Top of forum page"
I've played with GNex and have to say it pawnd the SGSII if had the cash it'd be in the bag..
