I recently just got this razr and it already has Epsilon v3 and is smooth but the internal memory is totally full and when i go through the folders i can not find whats on the sd card that is eating 8gigs. All my music and nandroid is on external sd so i know that isnot the problem. What i would love to do is revert this xt910 back to stock ICS and flash a fresh rom. I love this phone but i can not for the life of me find out where is 8gb of internal memory has gone. Someone please enlighten me!!!

have you tried to locate the source via setting > storage (don't know exactly how it's called in english, but in epsilon rom there a sd card symbol under settings )
there the storage usage is devided to some parts you can seperate from each other. maybe this way you're able to enclose the the storage hungry area?
PS: have you installed some 3D games? maybe some uninstalled game data is still existing?

Yes i have checked that in the settings and thats the funny part it says there is still 2 gb on the internal (which there should be more then that) but when i plug into my Mac and look at the drive properties it says drive is full. I have like one or two games and they are not 3d. Is there a way i can just start fresh. Im used to Samsung devices where i can just use Odin to go back to stock. My memory is so low my phone wont even let me update currentlt installed apps. Im at my wits end lol

it pops up a thing before it boots? if so then then safetrap is installed and it is probably from backups. you can go to your ext-sd and find safestrap, then go to backups and delete the backups that are there if there are backups

after you find that folder and delete the backups that are there if there are any, Id recommend fastbooting back to stock .211 and then doing everything you want to do from there so you have a brand new fresh phone.

There is no safestrap folder on the internal sd card. Actually when i browse the card there really isnt much to be seen in there. This is what is pissing me off because i have checked every single folder and sub folders and the biggest file i can see is like a couple of mb. I mean i cant even take a screenshot because there no room left.

Thank u sir. I guess i shouldve stated that. Yes i have GSM. What i really want to do is start fresh and learn what restrictions apply to this phone based on the locked bootloader. My ideal scenario would be going back to complete stock Motorola ICS, gain root, flash a recovery and finally flash my desired rom. I dont know the correct stock firmware i am able to flash via rsdlite (i think thats the program i read about) to return to stock.

After that, you can apply this Update through stock Recovery
put in on your external SD, boot in recovery and apply Update from external storage

Hey guys,
I had a little issue for the second time today. Before when I first rooted my razr back on GB and made a backup of it ans tried to restore after ,it would completely go through the process in recovery but when I would hit reboot,it wouldn't do anything after the dual core logo. Same thing happened today, made a backup of stock leaked .206 and installed the aokp rom. Got a little anxious to see if it would do the same thing and low and behold it did! So technically I'm stuck on this rom (not that I don't like it ) but I don't wanna go through the whole process of using Droid utility and ics unstuck methods to go back ....any help would be appreciated!

From your wording it sounds as if you flashed the GSM patch & rebooted before you flashed the rom. If that's the case, you're booting into an empty partition. You have to have something on the safe side to boot into before attempting to power up into that side.

On GSM you ONLY can boot DHackers Roms with Safestrap. Regular Roms won't boot.
You have to use Boot Menu and convert the Rom.

:good: I tried HSD-Pilot's way and rom works correctly now. :good:
Do these steps:
convert nxrom by boot manager(thick all parts specially the last one)
download eclipse gsm patch and put it in SD card
go to recovery
do full wipe(data and cache)
install the rom
install the gsm patch TWICE
reboot
after long booting do first initial setup and reboot.
you will find everything works perfectly.
Will try. Just a question about Safestrap: is it ok that when wipe data and caches in safe mode, i got my unsafe os factory setted?

I don't know.
and I'm interesting others answer.
When you wipe data on safe system your non-safe system won't get touched. So when you toggle back to non safe, all your apps and settings will still be there.

But that's appened here. Just installed NX as second system, can't dowload or install anything becouse of "No enought space". How to verify where both os are installed on?

You where asking about safestrap (Safe & Non-safe)
But i guess you used BM and didn't format the Webtop partition. If you did it, then you have to many Apps installed, because the Webtop only got around 1,5gb Space. If you need more then you have to use your Main System for the BionX Rom.

I'm not debating the ability of the script to allow apps to be installed to the sd card, but you are really just swapping the external/internal memory. Go to the Q&A and there are quite a few threads on this, both on the advantages and disadvantages. There seems to be quite a few compatibility issues once 4.2 comes around and there have been a few issues regarding utilizing this method.
I'm just saying you should've said SD swap script or explained in the OP what this script does. It isn't as simple as you can install the apps to the SD. You can install apps the the sd, but it accomplishes this by switching the external out for the internal.
Re: {Guide}How to Use you SD Card for internal Apps
Beans' ROM has sdswap included if a person wants it.
But yeah I posted a thread quite sometime back about the video. With Perseus kernel it even gets trickier.....but not with beans it doesn't. That guy is a genius.

The main problem with this script is at times it takes up to a minute after the phone has started for it to "kick in" (observable by looking at the Storage tab).
Does anyone know a way where we could prioritize this script so that it happens faster?

If you look in the S3 forums you'll find zips that you can flash for the sd swap. They have four different files depending on exFAT, FAT32, stock kernel, or custom kernel. Make sure that you flash the correct one.

I use the paid version. I run a schedule at 2am every day to backup either my internal or external sdcard to my NAS. Works great
I was having issues with Titanium Backup saving to my external SD card due to the way android has it locked down. I was getting an "insufficient storage available". Found this, installed, and reboot. No problems.
I realize there is a way to have access using Xposed, but I like using ART instead of dalvik.
