can u help me to find a proper stock firmware that works fine on my SGSIII .
I am Living in "Bahrain" near Saudi Arabia
i tried many of stock roms but the result was always the same ,, while the messaging application doenst start and the phone wont connect to Samsung Skies .plus the Arabic input in the keyboard is missing
please help me with it..
The stock roms that i have tried are:

One thing i have noticed so far after installing so many custom firmware be it cwm or whatever. The sad thing about it is for example where i work , whenever i visit the toilet or basement automatically it shows network failure which happens to stock firmware aswell. But with stock firmware the network comes on automatically . But with the custom firmware i have to reboot the phone and do everything manually which is very annoying. I do credit your great works i mean the developers . but is it possible to find a solution to this because am always in love with installing the custom firmware with so many goodies.
That reads as if you have no CSC or the wrong CSC nothing to do with Custom firmware as it does not usually incorporate a CSC .

I have read some related threads for " Your Device does not support software updating via kies"
I am getting this issue.
I recently got a branded phone from orange after having a unbranded phones4u (the unbranded one was smashed and Orange replaced it with orange care) my concern was they the branded phone would be full of bloatware etc etc, so i came to XDA earlier in the week and I got some advice about Odin & flashing the attached stock ROM (I9300XXBLG_i9300XABLG8_I9300xxLH1_home.tar.md5) this seemed to go through very smoothly after following the XDA guide.
the S3 is now showing up as I9300XXLH1 which was the same as my Unbranded phone , however now Kies is being a bit of a bell-end and bring up the following message on the connection screen "Your Device does not support software updating via kies". after reading some related threads it would seem that the general consensus is that Kies is in fact a bit of a liability and its best to update via Odin.
This I don't mind doing, but as a bit of Noob , I'm a little confused over where to get a guide on which firmware in the UK will work. I'm not wanting to go for any the custom ROMs (Yet, I want to get used to flashing stock ROM's first) is there a website which gives you update on new stock firmware (for I9300 & I9100)that can be flashed (ie taking the place of Kies , so to speak.
Also I noticed that the Kies Back-up program doesn't work , it doesn't seem to work with any phone, I've tried reinstalling etc etc but it still doesn't work, I've tried Mobile Go which is okay but doesn't seem to backup user settings etc etc. I've heard of titanium but I don't want to Root at the moment is there any alternative?

Why would they JB has not been released for the UK .
JB is Poland only as per thread in General section.
You have changed the firmware and phone now presents wrong codes to KIES .

I had assumed that changing the firmware would perhaps invalidate the connection to kies updates , my question was for someone in the know to point me in the right direction for ROM catalogue (of sorts) as being new to to this I'm apprehensive about putting the incorrect firmware on to the phone/s.

Hello I Have a big problem In My galaxy s3 when i try to check update i received this error message (your device has been modified software updates are not available) original rom are installed on my device and my Device status is modified i tried to use triangle Away to reset binary counter but this set it to 1 not to 0 now i need to fix this problem but i don't know how??

As your search is broken suggest you flash stock rom via Odin .
Run TA then factory reset .

Thank you for your reply But please i Flash this stock rom And downloaded it from the link you wrote but unfortunately this stock rom for Poland and Europe and i cant find csc for Egypt i need stock rom for middle east please help me where i can download it ??

Hello, I've a question.
I'm on ROM I9300XXEMF6, but before I was on I9300XXELLA I'm living in Egypt, I don't know which ROM I should install, I provided Kies my S/N for an Emergency recovery, it removed XXELLA and downloaded the MF6 ROM (The original ROM which worked on my device properly since I bought it was XXELLA). My question is: Do I have to download the ROM from the manufacturing country or my regional area? If regional area please send me an EGY ROM to work on Vodafone as I know XXELLA is an old one and 3G/Edge doesn't work anyways. Thanks.
