Sounds very bad.
If you are lucky, your phone is only "soft-bricked".
Have a look here => http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1457458
If this doesn't work, it might be a "hard-brick".
Still on warranty?
Good luck !

well, i risk my friends phone to try and root, i installed the wrong the all-in-one zip which will root and replace recovery with CMW .
It made me a soft bricked , cannot be boot or stuck at boot logo. and the recovery wont work. i tried the solution made by others that using odin3 executive v1.0.0. i went into download mode and start the button on odin3. on the half way. the message stops. i've force to unplug it and see weather it works . but then nothing happen. i can't even boot up the phone .
anyway , when i tried to connect it to the pc . the driver logo popup but installation of driver failed .
I wonder if USB JIG could help me go into download mode again .
help :crying::crying:
If you can manage getting USB jig try it... And if you cant i better recommend you jtag...
Anyways what u were flashing via odin?
Peace
Hit Thanks & It will Disappear

Should be no difference other than version differences in the ODIN apps themselves. ODIN is ODIN.
Can it brick my.phone , or if the process will not finish , can i reflash it again ...

if you use rom for your device with usb debugging on then chances of bricking is very less. also .pit file is for repartition so dont add it. hit thanks if i helped.

What has usb debugging to do with bricking devices?USB debugging is active only when all services are up and running.Untill then its bootloader and kernel!
Also,.pit file contains only partition Information Table.So you can use it like you want.And I have always been flashing with pit file and not even once failed.Although you could use it only when flashing a whole rom!Not when flashing just kernel/modem etc...
To OP: Look if you have kies running at behind.It hinders the update process and kies too listen to download mode as it is the method kies uses to update.Does S plus uses some kind of lag fix in custom roms?Heard of those in sgs days.Dont know what fs S plus uses.

Hmm, I once have formatted my system (there was no OS at all) and USB debbuging wasn't enabled anyway, however I was able to flash some ROM.
I think You just have a wrong file on PC (mine was broken once), try to download some other firmware and flash it through Odin. USB debbuging shouldn't be important I think.
Or You could try to flash a new kernel with CWM and then flash a new ROM.
Good luck with other ROM.
Hello Everyone,
I Rooted My Galaxy S2 (Indian 'G' Version), Then Installed A recovery Via ROM manager app. I forgot to unlock Bootloader, Then I downloaded CM11 Nighlty ROM zip....... Inside the zip there was Boot.img (which i thought that it is Cwm recovery) and flashed it with an app and it failed to flash.... And I rebooted my phone and BOOM!! My phone's dead.... Bricked (i think so)..... No Display, No download Mode, Nothing! I tried to bring it to download Mode by USB JIG..... But still no Luck! Please Help me friends! (Pardon me if I posted in wrong place! if you can't get into download mode in any way, your phone is bricked. There is nothing you can do now.

Here in India, A local shop owner told me that he could replace the motherboard for 3000RS (50$ approx) or Revive my hardbricked phone by repairing it for 1500RS (25$ Approx). It will be double cost if I go to official Samsung Care.

Did you try changing your battery? Try to find a similar Samsung Battery and boot into download mode then. The boot.img is the kernel, and if it didn't flash, the ROM/Stock ROM should still boot up, or at the maximum should give you a bootloop. I still feel it is some battery fallacy, since the processes which you followed don't have any such errors.
Regards.

hi, as i have seen your posts you have written that you do have tried jig, and no results. try to take out battery and connect the jig and put the battery, i believe this the last chance you might have through jig. Or just jtag it for 25$ it is not that expensive, let me know what happens with jig.
