i allready tried home preferences but when i open desktop settings it's make me back to home screen automatically
try clear home data..and it's work again..but after change number of screen it's make me back to home automatically again

I am using this mod.It works great but sometime the icons are reloaded while going back to home.Is there any solution for this? There wasn't any problem when using xperia s home launcher only from xperia s v2 pack.Is this due to "HomePreferences.apk" as i notice everytime we go to home preference the icons are reloaded.I know it's normal to refresh home screen when we use home preference as there might be some changes but home luncher refreshes sometimes even if we are not using home preference.Anyone got soultion to this?

can any one share photo frame apk as i have lost it

that's probably because you haven't supercharged your rom.
your device RAM is probably full (or almost full, to be precise) before that happened. do you have a lot of apps installed and running in background? because if you do, the home app will be killed when the RAM is full, and it will be reloaded to the RAM everytime you're going back to homescreen after opening some apps.
try v6 supercharger here.
hope this helps
thilinac, i'm trying the mod now. gonna report soon should something goes wrong.

I used root explorer. I probably need to reprogram the phone. should I copy framework first before anything else. what do i need to do to copy framework? should i delete the original then copy the new framework from sdcard and change permission.. please help. thanks!

Next time use a CWM method, its alot easier.
If you dont want to use CWM just overwrite home&framwork no need delete them. (and make a backup of the stock one)
for now i think you need to flash a new rom.

Running SystemUIpro.apk very well.
I used the SystemUIpro on Arconium 3.b (fw 4.1.B.0.431), put it into System/app folder with permission set to rw-r-r, reboot the phone, but after reboot the statusbar was gone
What did i wrong, did i forgot something ?

That´s what i did, like other mod´s i used
put into system - renamed - permissions set - moved to system/app - overwrite the original
should i do a wipe of cache and dalvik when reboot ?
Try to set permissions when the file is in \system and then move to \app.
No need to wipe caches here.

This is really awesome. I have always wanted this.
Just suggesting, can you mod the menu in homescreen to appear only with long-press? I mean the one in the third picture.
Beside that everything else is very nice.

At your screen the names of the apps are below the app icons.
On Serjars screen the names of the apps are at the right side of each app icon.
Have you done this step?
Important (after reboot)
10 - Go to "Config >> Applications >> Manage Applications >> All", tap on "Xperia Home" and select "Clear Data" (you need to rearrange your widgets)

I'm using ThilinaC modded Home.apk not the serjars Home.apk.!!
Try using ThiliniC Home.apk in landscape mode and post the screenshot.!

Pandemic, look at the screenshot, I'm talking about landscape mode not portrait.! Moreover this not the first time I'm replacing the Xperia home. I've done this dozens of time. So forget that I must have missed any steps.

If You're using ics home you should put the 3 apps in system/app not only the home (home.apk, homeadd.apk and homepreferences.apk)
And if you're using gb you should put the 2 apps there (home.apk and homepreferences.apk).
Tell me if that works with you :fingers-crossed:

thx but i getting into trouble :silly: (even dunno why :crying
all went fine and i found the modified file fast. (HomeApplication.smali) i looked at those (compared) and saw that the only big change (all other is same) is that ur smali have ''.field private mAvailabilityReceiver:Lcom/sonymobile/home/model/AvailabilityReceiver'' -method (which our not have).
so i coppied the file over & recompiled (Z1 launcher for JB with the sd bug) --> launcher FC
ok, then i lokked into both files and modified my launchers file to be like urs --> launcher FC
:crying::crying:
i dunno what to do nxt i would appreciete any help :crying: so we JB ppl can enjoy apps to sd (clearing data every reboot is annoying and breaks my configuration )
i will try to replace the file also into ra3al's 3.x.x. launcher to see if it there too ..
anyway big thx to sahaab for the solution, help & keeping up the great work :good:

There is more changes then that required
Look under the method there is a bit more difference
And then copy the /com/sonymobile/home/model/availability receiver file to ur app same folder
Then u will get FC when Sdcards are going to reload, at this point read logcat and fix it by looking at what i did there
Sorry i cant tell exact steps at this time
