Ahhh gapps is huge lol..failed twice...weird ..hopefully this is the last try lol..the ROM looks good.same with its features .

Running like a champ here. No rotation issues with nova (didnt try with stock launcher). LOVE the nav bar tweaks. Any chance on getting height adjustment on them?
Btw, will we be able to flash updates without wiping? Hope so.
Thanks to the devs!

I cannot get this ROM to download for the life of me. Gapps and patch fine but not rom
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda app-developers app
Up and running great so far (1 hour. haha). Feels just as great as it did on my GNex. Auto-rotate on stock launcher isn't working for me... although now that I read back I'm not sure it's supposed to (yet?). No matter, not a big requirement for me while on my home screen.
Thanks guys this is just what I was hoping for.
Same here ...well if I can get ROM to download
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda app-developers app
ROM downloaded fine but gapps took five tries lol :/ but I got it now .

Yup. I wiped data then flashed ROM, patch, GAPPS all before booting once. No issues here.

Bugs:
BT tether seems to only work for the web browser
2 IME icons in the notification bar:
Settings-->Rom Control-->General-->Uncheck Show IME and reboot.
No Super IPS mode (See dalingrin's quote below)
dalingrin said:
All this bickering about IPS+....
Its a gimmick, folks. All Asus does is artificially limit the backlight if IPS+ is disabled.
AOKP and CM9 already support all the same brightness levels and "IPS+" that stock has. The only difference is we don't limit the brightness slider. In other words, if you move the brightness slider all the way to the right in CM9 or AOKP then it is exactly the same as turning on IPS+ and moving the slider all the way to the right in stock. There's no special mode or anything like that, the panel is just especially bright.

Okay, here's the deal on some of the Asus apps (FileManager2.apk, MyZine.apk, etc). They're looking for a method in the Asus stock rom that is not there: android.os.Environment.getEpadInternalStoragePubli cDirectory
I'm not sure how I'll be able to get around this.

Make sure you're on the latest TWRP or CWM recovery
MAKE A NANDROID
wipe data/factory reset in recovery
flash ROM
flash Gapps
reboot
If you're installing a new build without wiping, you STILL need to reflash gapps right after flashing the build!!!
On a side note: Folks, please don't PM me questions like "how do I flash this?" or "help! It won't boot!". Those questions belong in this thread. That allows other people to help you and keeps me from having to answer the same question repeatedly. My PMs are for development questions and sharing as well as for contacting testers.
Thanks for understanding.

Cool! Please report back on how it runs for you.
Hey, just installed and running fine. Extremely stable as far as I can tell. Going to restore my apps and do my normal tasks and report back.
Rotation does work like stated. Only thing is that the screen turns black then rotates. I'm sure you knew that already . Minor problem but nothing super major. Great Work!
edit: played some more, one issue i ran into is that youtube doesn't show up in the market when i search for it

so far it seem great! Installed with no issues, just logged into gmail and going to setup my apps now. But my first impression is great, seems real quick and smooth. Im loving the circle battery option..hehe Will mess around a little tonight and let you know tomorrow.
I assume this flashes a custom kernel? I'm running Icylicious now and I want to be able to flash back to it if need be. How can I backup my current boot image because I know CWM doesn't do that on the Prime.

Bugs!
Since this ROM is built using Teamlgog's device, vendor, and kernel source the same bugs that are found on shel's cm10.1 will more than likely be found here. Ex. USB tethering is not working at the moment.
No more call bug
EDIT: USB Tethering is fixed!!
All builds prior to the 7/26 milestone 1b release may or may not have the Xposed Installer soft reboot boot loop bug ((((ONLY USE REBOOT))). Thanks to dandrumheller for catching this.
Source Used!

https://github.com/scotthartbti
Optional Kernels
The ROM is built using TeamLGOG's geem kernel which is a simple but stable kernel. If you want more control and options I would recommend using these kernels, remember all credit goes to the devs of these kernels.
Smoocha kernel- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2242175 by chadouming.

Important Information!! Please Read!!
I'm in no shape or form a programmer and all bugs that you encounter will more than likely be fixed by those that are. I will however try my best to make it an enjoyable and up to date experience and try to update this rom on a regular basis when bug fixes are released. All donations should go to the real devs, I'm just a noob that got lucky building lol! Also I am not responsible for any damage to your phone.........like any other rom, flash and play at your own risk!!!!

Beanstalk 4.3.05 8/23 Update
Here is a new update for you guys, everything that applied in the last release with xposed still applies here. Either flash the superSU zip or the xposed installer zip to get xposed to work. The main difference will be a updated kernel thanks to dvhexer for his awesome work on bringing the faux123 kernel to our device and having it run so smooooth. Other than it's pretty much cm-10.2 updates and bug fixes.

Option for floating quicksetting windows
Optional encryption password sync
Enhancements for app ops

Fixed blacklist support
Crazy amount of fixes/improvements/cleanup build wide.
Tested that it boots but not much more than that, which was stated in my previous post from last night, on my way out for work so have fun!!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
TEST BUILD 8/19
This is a test build which seems to have fixed the need for flashing superSU, also this release is based on another cm10.2 branch and kernel from dvhexer (kernel is completely stock with no underclocked freqs or lcd color control). This release doesn't need the hybrid modem to get the carrier label to show AT&T and not maritime, the camera seems to be a little more stable and doesn't freeze(auto focus still needs some work).
download link: http://d-h.st/Xk3
I will more than likely revert kernels in the next release but for now this what it's going to be, it's late and I need sleep lol! enjoy and be sure to post your bugs.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4.3 is here!!!!!!
for those out there that wanna do a little testing here is beanstalk 4.3/ android 4.3!!
this rom is using dvhexer's device, vendor, and kernel tree along with scott.hart.bti's beanstalk so all cred goes to them!
there will be bugs since this 4.3 so don't expect fully bug free this soon in the game, if you want stable stick with 7/26
Now thats over with lets get to the good stuff and the important to know stuff:
1---superSU zip is needed for the rom to work properly like some 4.3 roms out there, zip can be found here
2---- camera can be a little funky at times but from what i've seen it can be solved with the hybrid modem which i'll let you guys do your own search and judgement on.
3---- use these gapps which is recommended by beanstalk dev.
4----- the rom(almost forgot must be the vodka and beer lol!!!!) beanstalk 4.3!!!!!
this should truely be considered a alpha/benchmark release so don't expect excellence just yet, but do feel free to test it out

Bug Reports:
Reporting bugs is important But reporting them properly is KEY.
If you think youve came across something that is not working as desired [bug] folow these steps to report.
1. RE-flash your rom cleanly and do not install gapps or restore anything. This will confirm the bug is in the rom and not a compatibility issue with your data or chosen gapps.
2. A logcat is very important for me to trouble shoot the bug ..
3 pull a logcat by connecting your device to the computer and open terminal then type adb logcat hit enter.
4 navigate to your bug and recreate it while connected and watch for a fatal exception.
5 copy the text apd use paste bin to share it with me.. after youve saved it copy the link and post it in the thread. Please ensure youve captured the fatal exception in the paste otherwise it will do no good.
one more reservation
you need to get source up asap

is kernel CM based then? might try this ROM soon
I had no reboots when I was testing this. I only got one after flashing a custom kernel. Which was an AOSP kernel, not CM. n3o's kernel. V20 for AOSP. It did boot though. I'll pull the boot.img from the ROM and test some more.
@Cruzfire @trustinhate what were you guys doing when you had reboots? Actively using the phone or was it just sitting? I played around with all of the settings, configured ROM to my liking and restored 150+ apps from a backup without facing a single one. Did you guys happen to grab logs or no?

For now, use Gapps minimal. I personally use Banks right now.
I haven't had time to test TeamOctOS's gapps packages on the LG.
Known Issues:
There are two theme engines built in, "Themer" the new CM theme is not fully implemented, and as of now is NOT to be used. Regular TMobile theme engine is fully implemented and works great.
Second known issue: Device Tunables "Advanced" menu will force close for now as we implement Geeb device specific settings.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Why isn't there XXXXXXX feature.
A: Shoot us a Suggestion if you want to see something added. While we are not going to promise to implement, we will always look into it
Q: But CM and all the others have..
A: ROM developers, including CM, build something they want to use. The ROM dev that includes something they won't run implies less than 100% effort to ensure it does work. As a team, we have similar goals and objectives. If XYZ ROM has a feature you want, and we don't (or don't want), feel free to use XYZ ROM, or build your own custom version of Octo-Kat

While we are certainly not requiring donations or money. But donations of money or devices will certainly speed along development. We plan to purchase and build 3 identical servers to be able to handle the work load of building our ROMs. Hosting, Electricity, and Parts alone are out of pocket at this point. But we love what we do. So, if you feel led to send us a device(even old ones you've moved on from, or new ones) or small donations towards our server project we'd be extremely appreciative. Contact @Dubbsy for device donations. He will make sure they get to each team member as needed. Thanks to all the users who make it feel like we are doing something that people enjoy!

O My God Im So EXCITED.... (my first second post = ] ) oh, bout the ROM too...
OMG thank you, thank you, thank you!!! I just switched from a Nexus 4 because I needed LTE. Coming from a ROM gold mine to the Optimus has been... interesting.
This is the quickest ROM I've tried so far. Settings in build date? I like it! You even have the expanded clock settings... this is golden
Thanks again!
Will not boot with trwp. I have not tried 2.7.1, gives an error about the updated script. I didnt log anything because right after the error I flashed m5

Latest twrp has problems, backdate to anything in the 2.6 range or earlier.
I installed it with Philz touch and it went smoothly.

I think it's earlier trwp versions with the problem. I figured it was because the ROM downloaded correctly...I was on 2.6.3.0when I flashed OctOS the first time. That's when I received that error. I headed over to brothaedhung's PAC thread and used his 2.7 recovery. The ROM flashed w/o a problem

I used BrothaEdHung's TWRP 2.7 and the rom flashed flawlessly.
However, I did run in to some other issues.
Tentacles\Device Tunables\Advanced FC's consistently.
Every so often, my navigation buttons, both cap keys & navbar, would stop responding. The only wy to resolve this was to reboot. I apologize for my lack of log, but I already wiped & restored to my old rom.
In the form he tells you that tumbles/ advanced fc they are try to work on a fix have hope in the dev

I can confirm the cap keys and navbar keys sometimes not working. The reboot fixes it

Unless I cannot find it Quick Unlock is missing from this ROM, I use a PIN number to unlock the phone and having to click the enter button gets very annoying. I was trying to avoid installing Xposed/Gravity Box, but it is not a big deal.

"Tentacles\Device Tunables\Advanced FC's consistently." is a known issue as mentioned in the op.
cap keys and navbar problem I personally haven't seen in nearly 2 weeks of using this build.
ROM is working fine but my phone isn't connecting to PC
I'm having an issue where my clock keeps disappearing from the status bar. Any ideas?

Sorry I haven't seen that.
Are you running any extra tweak things like xposed?
I'm going to get a new build out this weekend. Works super busy and barely have any time.

Windows or Linux?
If windows, verified that device manager is seeing your device as adb?
If linux, would be weird, always works in linux for me.

Yeah I'm running batterystats permission in xposed. It actually stopped happening though so that's cool.
That's awesome I look forward to the update. Thank you so much for your work.
Wonderful ROM. Pretty stable and battery efficient. Thank you.
But I found a bug where bluetooth connection drops as the screen goes off during a phone call. It reconnects if I turn the screen back on.
Also, somehow, google maps navigation didnt stream the sound over bluetooth after a bluetooth phone call. I had to disconnect and reconnect it to have it play sound over bluetooth.
Thank you again for this wonderful rom. Hope you could fix them in the future.
