Bug Reports:
Reporting bugs is important But reporting them properly is KEY.
If you think youve came across something that is not working as desired [bug] folow these steps to report.
1. RE-flash your rom cleanly and do not install gapps or restore anything. This will confirm the bug is in the rom and not a compatibility issue with your data or chosen gapps.
2. A logcat is very important for me to trouble shoot the bug ..
3 pull a logcat by connecting your device to the computer and open terminal then type adb logcat hit enter.
4 navigate to your bug and recreate it while connected and watch for a fatal exception.
5 copy the text apd use paste bin to share it with me.. after youve saved it copy the link and post it in the thread. Please ensure youve captured the fatal exception in the paste otherwise it will do no good.
one more reservation
you need to get source up asap
Sweet... Another ROM

Wow really? That's weird ... What kernel are you guys using and did you try another one... Random reboots almost always point to a kernel issue...

is kernel CM based then? might try this ROM soon
I had no reboots when I was testing this. I only got one after flashing a custom kernel. Which was an AOSP kernel, not CM. n3o's kernel. V20 for AOSP. It did boot though. I'll pull the boot.img from the ROM and test some more.
@Cruzfire @trustinhate what were you guys doing when you had reboots? Actively using the phone or was it just sitting? I played around with all of the settings, configured ROM to my liking and restored 150+ apps from a backup without facing a single one. Did you guys happen to grab logs or no?

Running like a champ here. No rotation issues with nova (didnt try with stock launcher). LOVE the nav bar tweaks. Any chance on getting height adjustment on them?
Btw, will we be able to flash updates without wiping? Hope so.
Thanks to the devs!

Up and running great so far (1 hour. haha). Feels just as great as it did on my GNex. Auto-rotate on stock launcher isn't working for me... although now that I read back I'm not sure it's supposed to (yet?). No matter, not a big requirement for me while on my home screen.
Thanks guys this is just what I was hoping for.
Same here ...well if I can get ROM to download

And if I forgot to list you, I owe you a beer If it wasn't for their dedication roms like this wouldn't be a possibilty.
Installation
You have to have been on offical stock OTA 4.1.2 or LGNPST
Do a backup
Wipe: data/factory reset, wipe cache, wipe dalvik (opt. wipe system and internal sd)
Flash Beanstalk
Flash GApps http://goo.im/gapps/gapps-jb-20130301-signed.zip
wipe cache and dalvik again before rebooting system
reboot
Bugs!
Since this ROM is built using Teamlgog's device, vendor, and kernel source the same bugs that are found on shel's cm10.1 will more than likely be found here. Ex. USB tethering is not working at the moment.
No more call bug
EDIT: USB Tethering is fixed!!
All builds prior to the 7/26 milestone 1b release may or may not have the Xposed Installer soft reboot boot loop bug ((((ONLY USE REBOOT))). Thanks to dandrumheller for catching this.
Source Used!
https://github.com/TeamLGOG
https://github.com/scotthartbti
Optional Kernels
The ROM is built using TeamLGOG's geem kernel which is a simple but stable kernel. If you want more control and options I would recommend using these kernels, remember all credit goes to the devs of these kernels.
Smoocha kernel- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2242175 by chadouming.
OCed AOSP kernel - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2240862 by MysteryEmotionz.
Important Information!! Please Read!!
I'm in no shape or form a programmer and all bugs that you encounter will more than likely be fixed by those that are. I will however try my best to make it an enjoyable and up to date experience and try to update this rom on a regular basis when bug fixes are released. All donations should go to the real devs, I'm just a noob that got lucky building lol! Also I am not responsible for any damage to your phone.........like any other rom, flash and play at your own risk!!!!

Change Log
Beanstalk 4.3.05 8/23 Update
Here is a new update for you guys, everything that applied in the last release with xposed still applies here. Either flash the superSU zip or the xposed installer zip to get xposed to work. The main difference will be a updated kernel thanks to dvhexer for his awesome work on bringing the faux123 kernel to our device and having it run so smooooth. Other than it's pretty much cm-10.2 updates and bug fixes.
Download link here: http://d-h.st/B2l
Change Log Beanstalk 4.3.05
Screen on for MMS/SMS
HALO overhaul.. looks similar, but code has been updated... again. (thanks pa)
Optimized images (thanks vanir)
Option for floating quicksetting windows
Optional encryption password sync
Enhancements for app ops
updated BS battery icons.. looks crisper (Thanks skyliner)
Fixed blacklist support
Crazy amount of fixes/improvements/cleanup build wide.
Tested that it boots but not much more than that, which was stated in my previous post from last night, on my way out for work so have fun!!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
TEST BUILD 8/19
This is a test build which seems to have fixed the need for flashing superSU, also this release is based on another cm10.2 branch and kernel from dvhexer (kernel is completely stock with no underclocked freqs or lcd color control). This release doesn't need the hybrid modem to get the carrier label to show AT&T and not maritime, the camera seems to be a little more stable and doesn't freeze(auto focus still needs some work).
download link: http://d-h.st/Xk3
I will more than likely revert kernels in the next release but for now this what it's going to be, it's late and I need sleep lol! enjoy and be sure to post your bugs.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4.3 is here!!!!!!
for those out there that wanna do a little testing here is beanstalk 4.3/ android 4.3!!
this rom is using dvhexer's device, vendor, and kernel tree along with scott.hart.bti's beanstalk so all cred goes to them!
there will be bugs since this 4.3 so don't expect fully bug free this soon in the game, if you want stable stick with 7/26
Now thats over with lets get to the good stuff and the important to know stuff:
1---superSU zip is needed for the rom to work properly like some 4.3 roms out there, zip can be found here
2---- camera can be a little funky at times but from what i've seen it can be solved with the hybrid modem which i'll let you guys do your own search and judgement on.
3---- use these gapps which is recommended by beanstalk dev.
4----- the rom(almost forgot must be the vodka and beer lol!!!!) beanstalk 4.3!!!!!
this should truely be considered a alpha/benchmark release so don't expect excellence just yet, but do feel free to test it out
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I am proud to present to you @scott.hart.bti's BeanStalk. This is a build composed off of the CM-11.0 builds with allot of added features on top of it. So you get speed, stability, and ultra customization ability. Many of the additional code additions came from slim ROM and also DerTeufel1980's Hellybean and have been modified to work with current setup. A huge thanks to @DerTeufel1980 and the Slim ROM guys for their work and dedication. Also a big thanks to everyone involved with CM as that is the building stone in this project. Thanks to @skyliner33v for the bootanimation and upcoming wallpapers!
He plan's on updating this and adding features on a pretty regular basis, so if you happen to like this, keep checking back.

its even better on the n5
While I prefer the build quality on the N4, the N5 is a better device and I like the black slab that sits on a Post-It pad.

I can use Banks' Gapps, right? I don't like the plethora of stuff that comes with PA.
How do you wipe Android Secure and Preload? What are those and what will they get rid of?

One super simple (seemingly so anyway) mod that none of these ROM's have is when you hit the Menu soft key (if enabled, and from the home screen) you get to System Settings...NOT the long press on the home screen Settings like widgets, wallpaper, etc.
Only a couple have the option to add a Menu button, NOT showing a static three dot menu.
As minor as that sounds, those are the two things for me that I really look for simply for ease of use. By the way does your ROM include the Caller ID for the Google Dialer? None of these ROM's have it, only the stock ROM does.
When is upload finished?
Best regards
Craxx

--after the other roms failing i flashed the original kernel back to rom and wouldnt boot after getting into recovery i got a message saying please enter password (twrp) ive got this before but this time it wouldnt go away at all..ended up having to wipe back to jellbean using lgnpst after exhausting all other options

I have only tried MiZrYs AK 2.0 kernel and it's been working for me all morning. I'm sorry you had to go all the way back to stock. Give the AK kernel a try if you are looking for a different kernel.

Tried this ROM first thing this morning but restored my AOSP 4.4.2 backup after about 10 minutes. The ROM looks great but everything is way too small for me (reminds me of Slim ROMs). I didn't have time to edit the density so I reverted back for now. If it does not exist already in your ROM, is it possible to include a toggle of some sort to change to stock e970 density?

I'll talk with the developer and see if that can be done. I personally used an app from the play store after flashing and changed mine to the stock 320.

I will be adding the option to change the density on the fly hopefully in the next release.. I was going to add gesture anywhere first but I'll look into that instead... @johnwayne007 if you feel its necessary feel free to edit buildprop to stock in the zip label it and release it in the op for the people who like that density..its up to you tho ..
Sorry to hear that you reverted back to your old ROM due to something as simple as a density you didn't like but if you only spent 10 min on it you didn't even scratch the surface of this beast so I understand ... Hope you'll be back bud.

No doubt, I will try it when I get home. :good:
Normally if I have the time I would change it, but I UAT software for a living and we are very busy at work right now. Restoring my backup was quicker than messing with Titanium backup and getting my settings where I like them.

I am loving this ROM with the stock DPI, no need to install xPosed and Gravity Box yet which are my usual go to mods when running AOSP. Thanks guys!

What was it formated as to start with? I have been using outdated fat32 on my 32gb card just for compatibility sake. Which has worked fine, within the limits of that file system.

DPI on the fly is now a part of Twisted and will be included in 2.3..

Strange i'll have to find a SD card laying around and format with the computer to exfat and see if I can get it act like that.

I tried and couldn't duplicate the same problem, maybe its just your specific SDcard and the rom not working well together.
