Pretty much the Golden Rule behind ROM development is to never ever ask for a release date. Those kind of questions annoy the crap outta devs, and it serves no purpose. The devs themselves probably don't know when to expect a release. It all depends on how many issues they have.
Not to be stern, but just telling you that you're not going to get an answer on that question.

Not sure what build you are running, but ICS has been fully working for some time. People REALLY need to stop saying it isn't fully working because a useless camera doesn't turn on (As it is, there is a difference between the *OS* not working, and a piece of hardware not having drivers.. this is the latter). *double facepalm*
It will be released when you finish working on it.
C'mon OP, we are all waiting.

He tweeted about the rezound version just recently.
Not sure if the tweet means he is starting to work on it or that he has a alpha/beta build done and will be uploading it.

Well, the issue is we don't have a kernel or whatever that will work with ICS stock rom. Maybe he can do something about the kernel. I am not an expert on these things, I am just asking a question and you are not helping me by asking me a question.
Answering your question with a question implies you should know better.

I'm busy the next day or two, but I'll try to test it out some later this week.
The only thing that they need working is the BT,Data,Gsm and Camera.......
And mabey a couple of bug fixes here and there

I meant WE shouldn't be looking at this as a race, but rather as a WIN WIN situation.
But the last things are extremely hard to get working, I'm guessing they both get NFC pretty soon, then MAYBE cell data, but wifi and bluetooth are going to be near dang impossible without those drivers.
But seriously, just tried out X's new preview (v3) and man was it smooth! I can't wait for the whole shabang!
Wifi is already wrorking brother
Yeah x's #3 was uber smooth, but maybe cm9 will come first, as for nfc, its like Bluetooth to me, I don't use it

It's the exact same as stock but deodexed and rooted. Nothing else. No tweaks. No optimizations.
It also allows users who want to modify it the way they want since it is completely stock. Devs can build off of it.

No problem. Just sharing the stuff I learned
Can this be flashed using 4EXT or must it be renamed and flashed like any other stock ROM? (relocking bootloader, renaming file, etc)
Curious because I wanted to update to the "R2" version released by football..but might as well use this if it's already rooted and such, save a little time.
By the way, anyone know what the difference is between the latest ICS OTA and the "R2" version posted by football? (it wasn't posted in the Amaze forums, but it was posted on his filefactory account)
Kind if irritated that I even updated to ICS at all right now (used the OTA) because it seems to have totally borked WiFi calling (there's some kind of crazy delay that appears ~10 minutes into a phone call... other users getting the same thing). Really didn't want to S-OFF and revert to GB, though, so hoping this "R2" release fixed that
Whether this means anything for us is yet to be seen but still cool to know
http://www.droid-life.com/2012/07/09/android-4-1-headed-to-aosp-today/
Won't mean much for this phone since it doesn't have a functioning AOSP RIL.

Well if you mean towards jelly bean, yes and no. I don't think we can get aosp jb as their wont be a kernel for it. I think since JB is closely related to ICs versus the big difference between GB and ICS that it wont be as hard to go from one to the other
Correct me if I am wrong here. Trying to answer based on what I skim and read.
Sent from my ADR6425LVW using xda app-developers app
Actually yes, Chad is working on the kernel/RIL issue. I talked to Dmaedows on twitter informed him of it, it was the first he heard of Chad's working on it. Tweeted back later, it seems the two are going to work together, or at the very least Dmeadows is going to merge his fixes with Chad to make something useable.
But as always, remain cautiously optimistic, no promises.
http://www.twitlonger.com/show/i7dae2
I doubt we'll get a fully working JB port any time soon, few months at best.
Last I read on the ICS RIL was the kernel source was needed so we are stuck waiting for the update to be release and the source to be posted on HTC's dev site shortly afterwards...
No idea if that's truly the hold up, just something I saw awhile back.

Let me begin with stating my admiration for all devs. I can't do it. I have neither the knowledge nor the patience.
That being said, it seems all the new ROMs have to have three or more ROMs combined. Sometimes bigger is not better.
I would love to see an updated pure AOKP ROM for our device. We haven't had one since DAGr8 left for the Note II. AOKPs Ribbons are kick ass! I like them much better than PIE. You can set the ribbons to stay open and they don't disappear as soon as you lift your finger......and the long swipe to open the app drawer is great.
If you haven't seen them, here are a couple of screenshots of my N7.
